  1. ^^^^ Am I the only person who finds that really upsetting? Who the hell invented that game?!?! ^^^ Wes, I wouldn't worry.... If he tells people about that game in person, the chances of somebody wanting to practise baby-making with him are pretty slim....
  2. Hmm, ok, so you weren't lying about the spikes, yay!! 3D beer, whoo!
  3. ^ Don't give him ideas, for the love of God!
  4. Mikey is both scarier and cuter at the same time. He does have better dental hygiene than the original Yeti though.
  5. I've seen the dangly things being sold in shops, but haven't seen many people who actually have them on their phones. There was something of a craze for them a few years back though, at my school at least.
  6. Wow, Homosassa Springs, I've been there a bunch of times but had forgotten the place ever existed! I absolutely loved manatees as a kid, mum and dad always struggled to drag me away from them. I do NOT, however, remember sharing a name, albeit spelled differently, with the hippo.
  7. ARN&R, are you now satisfied that Barry is not, in fact, sad and pathetic?!
  8. ^You're like a ventriloquist right? You can throw your ass?
  9. ^^ I'd say it makes you not a geek. But it would take a heck of a lot more than that to make you cool!
  10. USCoaster - I know it's not Rachel, that was just the closest I could think of. COULD be Cheryl.... Bit too much boobage and the eyes are all wrong though. Not that this is an important issue! Chris - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irn_Bru Should be more than enough info for you there, I'll buy you a bottle in June if all goes to plan.
  11. ^ There are many many things that make you a geek Paul.
  12. I got that. I feel dirty. Does this make me a geek?
  13. I believe you're thinking of Gordon Ramsey sweetie!
  14. Excepting Elissa, the first three people to post in this thread were all 17.... Amazing how maturity can vary so much ain't it.
  15. What the hell?! "Wifebeater" is Stella's nickname, that's all.
  16. ^ How can you be an ex-piercer and a tattooist at the age of 17? Is this like how you can have your Grade 8 practical in bass but haven't done theory, even though you have to do Grade 5 theory before you can do any higher practical grades?
  17. ^ You do realise that once you hit legal drinking age, drinking Wifebeater is no longer acceptable?
  18. Before Part II gets posted... I recognise Louise Nurding/Redknapp but who in the name of God is the other one? Rachel Stevens maybe? Harry Ramsden's is sooooo amazing (although not as good as my local chippy) and if I'd only been given that tiny amount I would've had to beat somebody up. WTF?!
  19. ^ Yup. I nominated Zane for his quick wit, amazing typing skills and grasp of language, and his unfailing ability to recognise sarcasm.
  20. ^ LOL! Chris, I have a feeling this is how this thread is going to continue. I've almost given up on finding any airline other than Virgin Atlantic that I don't know somebody who will praise it to high heavens and another person who will curse it to all hell. My advice: Go for whichever is least expensive and then cross everything.
  21. I was doing this study this week, marking high school exam papers (extremely intensive and very dull, did it for the money) and met this really cute and cool guy who apparently was in pretty much all of my classes at uni this semester but we've never noticed each other. Anyway, we both finished the tasks before our friends did so we were in the bar taking advantage of the free coffee while we waited for them, getting along great, and JUST as I was starting to realise he was as interested in me as I was in him, and he says "I hope you don't mind me asking...", my friend walks in, sits with us, and starts up a big rant about how boring the work was. ARGH! Then our other friends arrived, and the guy had to leave a couple of minutes later to make his train. Damn it! First decent and suitable guy I've met since I've been single, and we get interrupted.
  22. Proves how much Mr Alvey reads the UK Trip Board, it was posted there months back that for some reason each person can only see their own AIM address button, not anybody else's. Makes the whole thing slightly redundant really! Robb, ask Elissa to yell at you to fix it.
  23. I've never flown Air France, but I have heard good things about it fairly recently. I have had the, umm, interesting experience flying with Lufthansa, albeit only once. Around 2001 our BA flight was cancelled coming home from the US, and somehow we ended up on a Lufthansa plane. The staff were all smiles, but as soon as you asked for something or even hinted that you might not be slightly happy with something (eg my mum asking for a blanket because she was cold), it suddenly seemed like we were a major inconvenience to them, the smile was still there, but they didn't bother to hide the fact that it was forced, and the tone of voice and manner changed. On top of this, as I've already mentioned, the plane was FREEZING, everybody around us was asking for extra blankets and hot drinks, which the attendants were pretty unsympathetic too. I'm not sure whether the temperature of the cabin is something they can change, but they could have at least addressed the issue rather than tutting at us and being bad-tempered about the complaints. The food was poor, the seats uncomfortable, and complaints department rude and unhelpful. We're not really the type to make official complaints, so the fact that we did so as soon as we arrived home says quite a lot. HOWEVER... This was one experience, four years ago, and funnily enough, I seem to remember somebody speaking very highly of Lufthansa quite recently (maybe on the UK board?). So, maybe we just caught them on an extremely poor day, or maybe they've changed in the years since. But that was my experience. You asked.
