Alright, for some reason it doubled my post so I'm going to respond to Chrissie's response below! Manchester airport is nice, always has been, wins awards and everything! Me and my brother are picking my parents up from there on Saturday morning, I might do a bit of exploring and see whether the rest of the place has gone downhill as well.... Strange. And also, I'm disappointed that Chrissie didn't mention the Robbie Williams song "Knutsford City Limits" in her post.

^ Yeah, I actually thought it WAS her when I glanced at it before reading the caption. Anna Friel apparently was one of the last few in consideration for Tonks, real shame she didn't get it, good actress, I don't know the actress who does have the part though, she may be equally good. (Anna Friel played Mary Jane in the Scooby Doo movie by the way, seeing as I'm not sure she's as well-known in the US as she is here.)

Was that the park you did a TR for, over the summer maybe? I'm pretty much fearless but I think even I would've been a little wary of some of those rides, that place looked like the park of almost-certain death and damnation.

^ Yes Chrissie, it's him, Robbie Jarvis is his real name. He is supposedly in the film, but he's apparently only playing a band lead singer (cameo appearance) (but that's according to imdb which is hardly reliable), and composing some music for the soundtrack. Can't find anywhere stating he's playing the young James.

STALKER LAND: A Robb and Elissa meet-and-greet area, where you can get Elissa to sign your rodent (not a metaphor) and Robb to steal your food. The food-stealing would take place in a restaurant where plain pasta, and mozzarella salads are half price to Elissa wannabes. Also as part of this land there would be a spelling and grammar school, where people must learn to write intelligibly and without using netspeak. Once they pass the exam at the end of this lesson, they are then, and only then, allowed to molest the Alveys.

Alvey, SUPERIOR?! Pffft!

^ Yup. In my GCSEs (end of high school exams in England), I got one A*, 9 As, and 2 Bs (I think, I'm actually beginning to forget already, and it was only 5 years ago), and all I heard for the next three months was how disappointed my mother was with the Bs. Forget the fact that I did Higher-tier exams and all the extra curricular stuff, and was also studying for my Grade 8 piano exam at the same time, those 3 Bs were the biggest disappointment in the world for her. Just remind your parents that no matter how intelligent and studious you are, and no matter how hard you work, you're not perfect, nobody is, and explain to them that BECAUSE you work so hard (and you clearly do, with a 4.0), you need TPR, you TV etc, to chill out when you aren't working. Statistically, they say your brain can only absorb about 5 hours worth of information a day, you can't work all the time. Even if they're mad at first, I'm sure they'll calm down quickly, try not to worry about it. A B is NOT the end of the world, especially not when you're so young. They only get mad because they care and want you to do well. Which you will, believe me.

Heck, a lot of our older readers can learn a thing or two from Brent's posts! Brent, I commented in your last TR that I enjoy reading your posts (actually reading, not translating!), nice TR. And hey, who's the pretty girl? Just a friend? Does Shane get sick on everything?!

I do not watch and never have watched Family Guy, but this is kinda what worries me about the rumours of Futurama returning.... IMO, there were only two or three no-quite-up-to-scratch episodes in the four original seasons, and even they were by no means *bad*. If they bring it back, even with a lot of the same writing team, I worry they won't be able to keep the same standard, it's tough to do.
