  1. The vacations in Germany begin all approximately at the beginning of July. That means, there should not be so many visitors in the parks in Juny, except on weekend. From Heide Park to Fort Fun you need between 3h and 3,5h. I don´t know at what time Fort Fun would close on Friday, but I will inquire by telephone today for you. --Soeren
  2. Yeah, that sounds better. Thanks. Can´t wait to meet you guys this summer. --Soeren "changed his look, to look like a coaster-friend" Schomburg
  3. Hey Elissa, thanks a lot for the nice words. :crying: How looks a coaster-friend? When you are in Heide Park, then we both ride Limit again and again. Then you will see that I am a big coaster fan (-friend). --Soeren
  4. It is me beside my PC, checking new Posts on TPR. Do you finde the two "Theme Park Reviev" things?
  5. How much cost the Lasik surgery in the US? In Germany you have to pay between 1,500,- and 2,000,- for one eye. How it works: During Your Surgery · Lasik surgery itself takes approximately 10 minutes for both eyes. · During this time your surgeon will communicate with you, and talk you through the procedure. In this regard there are no surprises, and it makes it easier for you. · Drops are used to numb the eyes before beginning. · There is no pain at all. The only thing you feel is the gentle surgeon’s touch and mild pressure. · It's easier than going to the dentist! · Tape is used to ensure that your eyelashes do not interfere with the procedure. · A small speculum keeps your eyes from blinking. · A suction ring is placed on the eye. Your vision then goes dark. · You hear the gentle hum of the keratome. · The vision returns. Your job is to look into the middle of the red light. · The laser makes a small clicking noise. · You can smell the evaporation of tissue. · You feel cool water as the surgeon replaces the flap. · You don't have to worry about blinking, or about moving your eyes. The laser has a sophisticated tracking system that follows your eyes. Should you even move more than a millimeter, the laser shuts itself off automatically. --Soeren How it works.
  6. Limit (Heide Park) is one of my fyvorite rides. Limit - Heide Park
  7. Hey, I am an optican from Germany. I am personally not so convinced of the LASIK procedure. Finally it is a healthy organ to is operated. Defective vision is not an illness. And what is with the organ in 20 years? How high are the risk and the chances for success? How high are the side effects, can someone predict that? But everyone should know for itself. --Soeren
  8. Hey Elissa, thanks for making the change. That was very quick. --Soeren
  9. I tasted "Beverly" on my last Italien trip and it was really awful. But taste anyone "MezzoMix" at the drink station there in Florida. --Soeren
  10. Hey Robb, You rode Big Thunder Mountain in each Disney Park, right? And Paris is the best... Why? I only rode the one in Paris. And thanks for the great pictures. It looks really good. --Soeren
  11. I liked that video so much. I have never seen it before.
  12. Hey man, you made very good pictures. I took a look to your site, I liked it. Good work. --Soeren
  13. Damn good pictures. It looks like a nice ride. I think I´ll get a quick tour on your site.
  14. I drive manual, because the most cars are here with a stick. When you go to a driving school (everybody must go there to get the driver licence after 20 hours or more practice and theory) there you only lern how to drive on a manual car. --Soeren
  15. Yes, it´s a nice site, but the link to the video doesn´t work. It´s a pity. --Soeren
  16. Yes, thanks Robb. That is pretty funny. But does it every time rolls back and starts new? I´ve never seen this before. --Soeren

  19. For me it is Vekoma, they built a few of my favorites rides: - Rock´n Roller Coaster (WDS) - Space Mountain 2 (DLP) - Limit (Heide Park) - FX (Movie Park) And 2nd for me would be Intamin, I really like Expedition GeForce (Holiday Park) and Colossos (Heide Park). --Soeren
  20. I am from Bremen/Germany Space Park Bremen - 10min. (but the Park closed last September) :crying: Heide Park Soltau - 1hr. This is a "virtual reality coaster", each rider has their own onboard screens. But the Park closed, because there were not enough guests. That is so sad.
  21. Yea, I know they had a lot of attractions 2 times or more in the park. But they had changed some attractions, like the two observation towers (now one of them is Scream, hell yeah) and that is what I like. Then I will be there. 8) --Soeren
  22. "What was the last coaster you rode?" - "Worst coaster ever!" - "Best drop ride!!!" - and now: What was the best Theme Park you ever visited? My favorite one is Disneyland Resort Paris. --Soeren "visits DLP this summer" Schomburg Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant - Sleeping Beauty Castle
  23. Yes Robb, the last time you visited Heide Park, Scream was an observation tower? But now it is the highest Giro Drop Tower (110 meter) worldwide. I like the tower so much, and I think Elissa will like it, too. --Soeren
  24. My favorite one is Scream - Heide Park Soltau. - Scream - Heide Park Soltau - highest Gyro Drop Tower worlwide (110 meter)
  25. I just stumbled across the following concept art from Toon Studios in a presentation Jay Rasulo gave a week ago in the USA on the Walt Disney Investor Conference. The rather atmospheric drawing is only a snapshot of how this area might look like under ideal conditions, but it shows some neat details. Concept art - ToonStudios DLP
