  1. (Stuck in the Dessert) Look Stewie, a Dr. Pepper Machine! (Out of breath and panting, climbing up a mountain of sand, seeing mirage) Oh No! A RC Cola Machine! Nooo!
  2. Yeah & if CF hadn't bought it from SFI when they did SF execs would've shut it down in 2004 & then systematically relocated the rides to other parks just the same as CF is currently doing & you'd still be complaining about it. Huh? I kinda get what your saying, but not 100%. Your saying Geauga Lake sold to Cedar Fair. The rides would be taken out, relocated and we wouldn't even know the difference?
  3. Your right. But, Six Flags was really thrifty, (sarcastic)! But really, they should have installed more coasters than 2! The Steamin' Delta Demon look like a fun ride!
  4. All of the rides that were sent to Old Indiana that were in the open field are now scrapped. Its sad to hear that because those were good rides that could have been used. Six Flags, at that time owned the property with the rides. Why couldn't Six Flags install the rides in their parks instead of having to pay for a new roller coaster?
  5. I so upset that I was never able to go to Opryland USA! My mom went and she said she loved it! Looks like a good thirll park and show park! The roller coasters looked really good! Too bad it closed, same with Libertyland! Libertyland was Elvis Presley's favorite amusement park! It had a good line up of rides, too. Now it just sits dormat (Libertyland).
  6. Windows Maps Live won't let you see the White House. Probably for safety reasons so it won't get attacked.
  7. It's funny how much we've picked on Six Flags over the years. Maybe the real villian in ruining parks is Cedar Fair! Or Cedar Fail as I call them. Eric _____________________________________________________________ Cedar Fair- 1 down 19 more to go! Yeah I totally agree with Cedar Fair being the villian! Bwa Ha Ha!
  8. Yeah, I think it would look good if it had a woodie! But, great job so far!
  9. What I mean is having something to do at night keeps teenagers who so to a theme park from vandalizing buildings, robbing old ladies and keeping kids out of jail. Is that more clear? Kind along the lines of a Boy's and Girl's club.
  10. ^That was funny! Well, you also have to think about the people it effects. It effects the kids, adults and the economy. Without anything to do in your area, kids are more prone to be in gangs and get in trouble. Think about all the people who lost their jobs when Astroworld closed. Some employees were there since opening day in 1968. People are laid off. Some people had to move away, just to push a button for a roller coaster. And then when they do move away, they can't get hired. So thats another factor to think about when a theme park closes. And I don't know why people "disliked" Astroworld. What was so bad about it? It had some great coasters at some time. And from the look of Robb's and Elissa's Review of Astroworld, it looked like everybody enjoyed it!
  11. Yeah, I deffantly think Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's christmas tree is bigger than Disneyland's castle!
  12. This makes me so mad when a theme park closes for good? Take for instance, Miracle Strip. Miracle Strip closed, was torn down and condos were going to be built in it's place. Then, a year later the companies who were going to build the condos run out of money! Like Astroworld, it's been closed since 2005 and nothing has been built on top of it. Instead of having a theme park with thrilling rides, good food, and history, it just sits untouched for years. Does this make anybody else feel sad inside?
  13. I like this park, it seems very pretty with a few good rides! Did anybody know that Gilroy Gardens is a Cedar Fair park? It's nice for a Cedar Fair, not ti trashy with Rugrats and other things like that!
  14. Mine would probably be: Wild Kitty at Frontier City How appealing is Wild Kitty? Oh my I'm so so scared!
  15. Black Sweater Black Pants Black Socks Wow, I usually don't like wearing black all at the same time!
  16. Can somebody explain to me how a flywheel and weight drop shuttle loop coaster works? It seems difficult!
  17. It is the best one ever made! Its really old and the launch is great!! Flywheel launches are much better than weight drop launches!! If you get a chance, go to Texs and ride it! Greased Lighting at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is so slow, the launch is weak!
  18. Hey, Hey! Don't be hating on the Mega Zeph! Yes, it was rough, but, was really fun! It was a fun ride while it was open!
  19. I like your review! Robb, you always try to put one shot of coaster porn on your photo trip reports, so cool!! Coasters in the Raw! Oh, so dirty!
  20. The ride is called Yummy Yummy Fruit Salad at Six Flags Great America?
  21. Fantasy Fling? Six Flags Great Adventure?
  22. The big blue Rotor was the Barrel of Fun at Six Flags Astroworld. That was easy!
  23. I couldn't find the roller coaster section. Its not even listed. They might be working on it right now. Anybody else found that? All they have are tower rides, thrill rides, simulators, and wheels.
  24. Does Intamin still make parts for the 1st gen tower? Or do you have to get them off a defunct tower?
  25. I was at SFoG on Friday, and I was talking to one of the hostess at Monster Plantation and I asked her, "Are they taking out Deja Vu?" And she said I think they changed their mind about taking it out because it is having a good year this year. So there is hope for Vu. But was closed when I was there. Lickskillet would be a good place for Thomas Town, but not where Deja Vu!
