  1. Agreed. While I also have frustrations with the Chinese culture, I won't turn to flat-out racism to express my feelings, but I most certainly wouldn't visit this park on a future trip.
  2. Seems the ride is being taken apart very carefully for use at another park. Source:
  3. Not this trip, but we've done it in the past.
  4. Here's a POV we shot the other day of the launchd coaster at Bayern Park!
  5. Great report! You owe us a trip to Orlando!
  6. Just noticed that my camera caught this super cool shot during our Olympia Looping shoot with one of the other trains crossing over on the track! I have loads of photos from this trip to go through! I will post more soon!
  7. For the past couple of days we've been spending time at my favorite theme park resort in Europe... Europa Park! We did a live stream this morning touring around quite a lot of the park. I apologize for the abrupt end of the live stream as we lost the signal going through the Wodan queue... [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  8. Here is the POV of that "drifting" coaster...
  9. Yeah the crowds are not bad at all, especially mid-week. Even on the busiest Saturday, which we were at the fair during, we only waited 10 minutes or so per ride. If you don't do well with crowds I'd say go to the fair Mon-Thurs and you'll find crowds much less and far more manageable than your typical theme park visit.
  10. So we did "culture day" to Neuschwanstein Castle today! Walt Disney's inspiration for the Disney Parks castles! And of course one final day at Oktoberfest! Which means one final ride on the beer carousel! And we closed out our visit with Olympia Looping! But not before Nolan put balls in his mouth... [twitter] [/twitter] I'm really going to miss this coaster. I really hope it sticks around Oktoberfest for many many years. Check out this amazing view from the exit of Hollenblitz! [twitter] [/twitter] Until next time Oktoberfest... I have many, MANY more photos & videos to post and I will do that soon!
  11. You pretty much just described my past four nights!
  12. It was our final night at Oktoberfest and of course took a few more rides on Olympia Looping! This really is one of the best roller coasters in the world!
  13. Here's the live stream from the slide of death. Other than some people in the comments section being assholes and having to call them out, this video is INSANE FUN! It's great to watch drunk people fall on their ass over and over again! lol [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  14. You're welcome. And i'm sorry! lol I'm sure we will see you at Phantasialand!
  15. We did another live stream last night! Check it out... [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  16. Watch the replay of this live stream! Watch it NOW!!!! Go to about 4:30 into it and watch this amazing girl defy all laws of physics! AMAZING! [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  17. We are back on the road again for another adventure! This time we are in Germany base camping at Oktoberfest for the first few days and then heading to Europa Park, Phantasialand, and more! Keep an eye on our Twitter, Instagram Story, and Snapchat for more updates! On our first "arrival" night we did a couple of quick laps around Oktoberfest. Here's the replay of the livestream we did. Be sure to watch the entire video! It's filled with all sorts of AWESOME rides and we even take a ride on Olympia Looping during the video! Another TPR adventure has begun! Yay! We have made it to Oktoberfest! I love this photo! Olympia Looping train through one of the loops with the amazing crowd in the background! And even with that many people, we only waited 5 minutes of Olympia Looping! Alpina Bahn is sort of like Olympia Looping without the loops! Amazing ride! Hollenblitz has to be the most amazing, totally screwed up spinning ride I've ever done! I have lots of video of this coaster that I'll post soon! The only outdoor section of the this ride. The rest is indoors filled with Christmas trees, fire cannons, and a rave party! Yes! Oh yes... there WILL be beer! There will be a LOT of beer! Did we mention that we rode this TOTALLY SCREWED UP WTF coaster?!?!? POV coming soon! [twitter] [/twitter] So that is sort of a taste of what is to come! Remember to follow us on social media, especially Twitter where we will post quite a bit to. Our Twitter is: Remember to please POST YOUR COMMENTS!!!
  18. Our next day was Six Flags St. Louis! Personally I feel like this is sort of an over-looked park in the Six Flags chain. The park has some decent coasters with Mr. Freeze, American Thunder, Screamin' Eagle, Batman, Pandemonium some decent and even unique flat rides and I've always felt the customer service at this park was great, too. Add in the more recent Justice League dark ride addition and the park is fairly well rounded. Would I like to see them build a new coaster here? Sure. I think they are a bit overdue. Would I like to see an RMC version of The Boss? Absolutely! But as it is now, the park has a nice selection of rides and we really enjoyed our day! TPR has arrived at Six Flags St. Louis! Let's head in the park and get some early morning rides on Mr. Freeze! Are you guys ready for launch? Here's some POV we shot from our morning ERT! Mr. Freeze does this to your hair! Even after all these years, Screamin' Eagle is still a really solid wood coaster! Who's "The Boss?" We are all The Boss! Yep, you heard it here first! American Thunder still running well: [twitter] [/twitter] Happy riders on American Thunder! Fun Fact! Six Flags St. Louis was home to the first "mirror image" Batman clone! The BEST way to visit any Six Flags park is with a Flash Pass! Seriously who wants to wait in lines??? We are fans of this style Intamin drop tower! Who can tell me where Six Flags St/ Louis' tower came from? [twitter] [/twitter] Finally got to ride one of the Sally Corp/Alterface Justice League dark rides! It's nice to see Six Flags adding themed attractions like this to their parks! Did we wait in any lines today? Nope! Thank you Flash Pass! It's time to test our Ninja Warrior skills! Hi-Ya! This is one of those moments where the coaster is better than the movie! Oh, Arnie...what were you thinking??? I really do like these Premier Rides lap bar trains. Did anyone get to ride this when it had OTSR? OMG! OW!!!!! "I'm craaaaaaazy evil clown guy! GIMMIE SOME CANDY!" Remember when this ride was at Six Flags Great Adventure and they could never get it to work? It's always open when we visit St. Louis! I wonder what sort of demon they paid off to make it work all the time! [twitter] [/twitter] No, we didn't wait at all Mr. Sign Guy. Thank you for letting us be smug and skip by the regular lines! "Please get this fat, hairy, creepy old man away from me!" I rode this... It did stuff... While it didn't kill me, I still think it could use some RMC love. Seriously, this ride is pretty fun! I'm so glad it still runs at St. Louis! It's actually a fairly slow moving ride in reality, but the sensation is really bizarre. On a side note, I watched someone sit ON TOP of the restraint "Lightning Loops" style not realizing they had to be UNDER the restraint. It amazes me how stupid the world has become... You're welcome. I really enjoyed working on this series. They haters can go eat paste and moldy waffles. The show wasn't for "die hard" roller coaster jerks anyway. I love the classic plaque they have at the front of the park! THANK YOU Six Flags St. Louis! We had a wonderful day! Ok everyone! Now it's your turn! Be sure to POST YOUR COMMENTS!!! We took the time to write the report! The least you can do is say something somewhat nice about it! (I'll even take a few snarky comments, too!)
  19. Yep, this is exactly one of the events I was referring to. Part of me wishes we could do "regional events" without us being there, but then it's sort of not really a "TPR Event" if you know what I mean. Again, not trying to sound super egotistical, but Elissa and I are the heart & soul of TPR for better or for worse, and without us there I'm not sure it's quite the same. And hey, those people who don't like us, or don't like what we add to an event (and trust me there are MANY who don't) we aren't offended and happy there are other options out there for you!
  20. We actually did a couple of tests like this with some events a few years back. Without meaning to sound to egotistical, what helps make a TPR event a "TPR Event" is the touches that Elissa and I contribute. When we tried doing events with other people leading, we were told it just "wasn't the same." And that's not to say they didn't do a good job and the events were fun, but when you develop something that is unique to someone's personality, once you take that out of the equation isn't not as marketable. I don't know how to explain it any better, sorry.
  21. Here we have both forwards and BACKWARDS POV of the ride!
  22. Yep. I remember that all very clearly. One of the most "interesting" moments of any of our trips because I got the call from the park we were supposed to go to literally MINUTES before we were leaving that the park would not be open that day due to weather. That whole new itinerary was put together in less than an hour and Garbles did a pretty good job of detailing it out here: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1210883#p1210883 What's interesting about that whole unexpected change of events is that we ended up doing MORE on that tour because of it. However, we still had people bitch and complain to me. I had some people tell me that they simply didn't want to go that day (which was fine) but then they were expecting me to GIVE THEM MONEY to compensate for the park loss. And even after I told them that we would still be hitting the park AND doing MORE, that wasn't good enough. I had other people tell me we should have just gone to the park anyway so we could have at least gotten pictures from OUTSIDE the park. What? Really? You would have rather us gone to a CLOSED PARK than go do something fairly interesting?!?!? And I'm sure there were other people that just complained because that is what they like to do. Again, more reasons why we have taken our tours private. I just simply do not have the patience to put up with people like this anymore.
  23. Here's the walk-throughs of three of the mazes at HHN Hollywood:
  24. THIS!!! THIS RIGHT HERE!!!! (The highlighted part in your post!) I think if I were to sum it all up, it really comes down to that. Punish the people that are morons and do stupid things. Don't punish the people who are smart and come to parks with their stuff obviously secured. I think that really is my biggest frustration with policies like this. It's as though the parks are saying "Well, in order to come up with the best solution, let's just treat EVERYONE like they are criminals." I'm sorry, I don't pay money to go to a place to be treated like that.
  25. ^ Ugh... Well, just like Hulk and Rockit, those are two rides I won't be riding at Great Adventure during my next visit, sadly. I absolutely REFUSE to go on any ride that makes me put EVERYTHING in a locker and then stand in line. I have secure pockets with either a zip or button pouch. I've been carrying my wallet, keys, etc on rides since I can remember without any issue. If a park wants to FORCE me to have a more inconvenient experience in line waiting for a ride, then I choose not to ride. I will gladly remove those small items out of my pocket and place them off to the side before I BOARD A TRAIN, and I will more than happily pay for a locker to put a larger item like a backpack, etc, but if I'm going to stand in a long line for a ride, and I cannot have my phone to use for social media, taking pictures or video, etc, seriously, I won't be riding El Toro on my next visit to Great Adventure.
