Wing rider seems pretty large for a park like that.

Six Flags Ohio/Geauga Lake over all never made much sense. Cedar fairs had no reason to own orcas. When that side closed I understood but man was it a cool park that massive park. the dry side closing and leaving the water park never made sense to me. Maybe it was bleeding money but seemed pretty silly to close it as they could of marketed it better. Maybe it really was that they just didn't in the same market as Cedar Point. Like Geauga lake that i think the water park did okay for a few years, not sure why they couldn't just keep the water park open. If they can just sell a water park pass and run it and make a profit seems dumb to just close it. All the trip reports I have seen of Six flags it always looks like 12 people showed up to the park so it closing was not shocked.

I dont know much about what all they are building at the track, Who knows they dont seem in a rush. Anyway They seem to be pushing Sirens Curse a lot in all the marketing I see on Social media. Still no open date just early spring. I will let you know once i hear.

Anyone know normally what time They do the 4th of July Fireworks? With that do we have any idea how busy the park is on the 4th?

Theming around the ride would slow down opening. its stuff they can do between testing and inspecting and what not.

You would think they want it open by October for the F1 race. I couldn't find any specs on that coaster. Wonder it the ride length is shorter.

I think we would have a better understand how everything will work by next week. Your question is valid and I would also like to know. Its harder to leave my family and stand in a 30-45 min line why they might be doing something way more fun with out me. I looked at VIP tour pricing and that might be in your budget but not for me.

How busy on a Saturday do they get. Just trying to figure out how long the lines for the few bigger rides would be. Just trying to see if I could knock out the 3 or 4 roller coasters in a few hours.

Sirens Curse is testing buddy. I am not sure how long it has to test before it can be cleared to open. I know its like 200 Hours or something. That number could be wrong someone who might know more can let us know.

They started testing the tilt track over the weekend what the means for a timeline no idea.

I will puff my chest out a little and walk hard, but inside im a little B. Not sure if being bigger then most of them would help or make me a easier target.

Just trying to knock some of the parks left around me. The two bigger ones would be Six Flags Great America and Six flags great Adventure. Zach had a review I think Zach had a trip report from last year that kind of made me not as interested in going and spend a lot of money to get to the park. Back on Topic Vekoma posted a video of Iron Rattler testing. Sure does look like a massive ride. With some solid theming on the tower. As Cedar points just looks like an Oil rig in the middle of the park.

I would take all the wait times you speak of with a grain of salt. I would imagine the park being much busier once its officially open. But i have also heard that THE DK ride is always having the longest line so hitting it first seems like the best idea.

I feel like this thing needs to be running for the next 16 hours if not more up to the next Thursday. Then do one more final train check

The Food and look of the BBQ place loos a alot like the Smoke house at Cedar point.

Looks like it would take about 3 hours round trip to get to and from the Park. So That is gonna take a chunk of your day. I mean im sure its possible but seems like a lot of planning and hoping all goes well. I mean i was thinking about doing something like this for Great America. Fly in from Ohio rent a car drive then fly back home at the end of the day.

So looks like the first half is heavy driving a 4 hour then a 6 hour trip. I think last August should be fine if you can work it around the parks calendars. I would love to do a trip like this some day. Mine would need to be more the middle of the country as i have done most the midwest. Beside the two bigger six flags parks.
