Moving is hard, especially when you made friends, but it is part of life. My suggestion on the moving part, get everyone's mypsace, facebook, or instanst messenger you can to stay in touch. As for the Six Flags Parks, I think are the good ones because Synder likes them. Plus when TPR goes down to Texas, all you have to do is drive a short distance and you won't have to fly into Texas like the rest of us who want to go on it, (if they do it).

IF SFKK is the low end of the parks and SF STL is on the upper end, I been to both. Six Flags St. Louis is nice, no themeing like Disney, but themed areas. It only has one bad coaster to me, Boss, all the others are okay. Good selection of flat rides and plenty of trees. SFKK. I went the Sunday after HWN 07 and wasn't impressed. I went for the coasters and found only 3 of them descent to good. Thunder Run, Twisted Twins and t2 sucked. Flat ride selection looked okay. Hardly any trees and the layout just sucked. If there was themeing, I didn't see it. The one flat ride I did like won't be there if I ever go back. I haven't been to either water parks, but SFKK might have the edge there. ^^ They still have la ronda

Advice Needed - Holiday World, Kings Island, SFKK
spaceace12 replied to edboxer's topic in Ask Alvey
Holiday world, if not hitting the water park, can be done in 4 hours on a slow day. SFKK is an hour from HW, I have barely seen that park busy, you could probably hit all the coasters plus some other rides in 4 hours. Never been to kings island. I second Indy Beach, it is less than an hour from indy and on a slow day can be done in 4 hours if you get there for the early ride session. If you go on a weekday or a Wednesday, you never know who might show up.....hint hint. -
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom New for 08
spaceace12 replied to ConleyKE's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If this is what they are adding, I hope they do allot of work to Thunder Run, Twisted Sister....twins, and t2 because most of their coasters suck. I might go back, but only for the water park. -
Anyone been there, I just decided on going there sometime next month for a day getaway.

As I left indy today, I called home and my mom was like, "when you get to Terre Haute, call so you can stop and get us something to eat (us being my mom and sister, not me)". So I call when I get to TH and they said, get a meal from KFC which is on the way home. KFC was closed, go figure, 10pm at night on a sunday. So I call home again and my mom was like, "what is open?" I replied, "Burger King is" She was, "what else." Now After KFC the only restraunt down by where I live is Burger King. She expected me to turn around go back towards town and get them food. So I pull into BK and tell her what is on the menu and wait. They can't decide and say, just come home. I walk in and they were like, you don't have to be snotty, you didn't have to work the game. Well, lets see, I got up at 4:50am, drove an hour, worked 15 hours, drove home and you want me to get you something to eat then complain about me not wanting to go somewhere out of my way. And the money I make helps pay for things like car fixes and household items. Anyway, 3 more sites to check, then to bed.

Meh, At this point, I could car less about the rest of the NFL season. As long as the Patriots are not perfect at the end of it. About the game, it was a good game and I made over 300 dollars! I would right more, but I got 5 more sites to check and then go to bed, been up since 5am drive an hour and had to be at the RCA dome at 6:30, did nothing till 11, after the game, had dinner and then took all the CBS cables out and did nothing while the CBS sports staffers decided what went were for an hour. Then cleared the outside area and drove home an hour. I can't wait for next season, I think Dungy is going to retire and Harrison might. Lucas Oil Stadium looks cool. -
Don't you wish you could do this...

This coaster is located right near the front of the park. If you go left at the entrance plaza and take the first left, it located just past where the Wii zone is/used to be, Right next to the log flume and not far from Mr. Freeze. I can't wait for this to open, I already have my SP for 2008 processed with parking on it. -

Blu Ray v HD DVD Picture Quality
spaceace12 replied to verticalzero's topic in Random, Random, Random
Blu Ray is good news for my home town. Terre Haute is one of a few towns with a Sony plant that makes the Blu Ray discs. Since the announcement, they are already gearing up for a expansion to make more. I am not sure of the costs of Blu Ray movies, but if more are out, that is good news since the price might go down some more. -

This is the best thread I have ever have read on a pro Patriots forum. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/showthread.php?t=73012 Patriots fans are rooting for the Colts. I guess some Chargers and/or Chargers fans did something, I only got to page 5 before I stopped. And I just found this. a Cowboys fan, an Eagles fan, a Colts fan and a Patriots fan - are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves his team more. The Cowboys fan insists he is the most loyal. 'This is for the Cowboys!' he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Eagles fan shouts, 'This is for the Eagles!' and throws himself off the mountain. The COLTS fan is next to profess his love for his team. He yells, 'This is for everyone!' and pushes the Patriot fan off the mountain. -

As it is here in Terre Haute, home of the Training camp for hte Colts. Also, When the Patriots played the colts in the Reg. season, 7 starters did not play. Besides the ones on IR, all others are playing, including HArrison. I can't wait to see the post season team come out. -

The pats of 1st half of season is not the same as the second half. The first half, they were blowing people out of the water. The second half of the season, they won them all, but not by much at times. They beat the Ravens only because of a coach on the Ravens side calling a timeout that cost them the game. Anyway, since I am a Colts fan, I obviously think that the Colts are going to win, how much, I really don't know. Gates is supposedly out for Sunday's game. They are playing in Indy which adds so so much. The noise level in the dome is going to be out of this world. I hope for the Jag's beat the PAt's, but if Indy has to go to NE, so be it. -

I think you are forgetting about one important team that starts with C and ends in olts. -
You have just won the lottery and bought a lake house but you need to save the 2.50 admission cost. I just like the fact of boating to a park. I mean how often can yo do that?
-
As much as it is crammed in there now, just imagine another coaster near hurricane. And for who said they wanted to buy a house on the lake, so do I. In fact, If I would win the lottery tomorrow, I already have it picked out. From the deck you can see the double shot! Get a boat and forget driving in a car, boat to the park sounds like fun, plus no admission costs.

Midwest heat isn't that bad. I bared it for the past 25 1/2 years of my life.

And Jay wins. Chargers coming to the thunder dome to face the Colts (I pick Colts, duh) Jags going to Patriots (not going to pick, just hope the Jag's beat them, but if Colts have to go to New England to go to Superbowl, so be it.
