Photos from our "Wine Mountain Thrill Ride" ;-)
Peis replied to Peis's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Hi Elissa , i know you wpuld like it The ride is very slowly, (not like a Rollercoaster ) because it is normaly used to take big thing you need to work in the wine-field on the top of the Mountain. On some parts its steep like Millenium Force and you have no lapbars You can only controll the direcion: forwards to climb of the Mountain or backwards to drive back in the valley. I can´t say how high the Mountain is but its very steep on some parts. You have to know, before we decided to built the "monorackbahn", thats the name oft the Transport-system we had to go by feet to the top to pick up the grapes. -
Some pictures from oure ride through our Wine Mountain. It´s still fun Normally this Machine is used to transport heavy things in the Wine Field because it is very steep in the field. But with some crazy coasterfans you can have many fun on it.

Look at these pictures: http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/t_rando/t_rando2.html with the right button on the bottom of the page you can go to the next page. Beautifull but scary photos. Have you got other pictures of those Parks??

I think 4 days are enougth to see the parks. But Sklyine Park is not on the way from Europa Park to Holiday Park. I think you need more than 2 1/2 hours from Holiday Park to Skyline Park. If you never were at Europa Park I think you should stay there 2 days. because the Park is very big. LG Matthias

The park is in bavaria between Munich and Ulm. I like the park very very much, and izs one of the cheepest parks in german. For example to ride the Sky Shot you don´t have to pay a extra fee. I other parks or at the fun-fairs you have to pay more than 15 € to ride sky shot.

Here are some photo´s from our meeting at Skyline Park in Germany. Skyline Park is a small Park in Germany with some unique rides. Like Skyrider, the only suspendet spinning coaster, or Sky Wheel, the first X-Car oaster from Maurer and Soehne. We´ve had very much fun there and Skywheel rocks. For me it´s the most thrilling coaster in germany. If you want to make a trip to germany you should visit this park. More pictures can be found here: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=13583&22 Thank you for the photos, Manuela. LG Matthias The Humpty Bumty Lift from Skywheel We´ve had a lot of fun there Claudia at the bobkarts An old Wildcat from Schwarzkopf !!!!ONLY WITH LAPBARS!!! That´s me

I Thinke there are several types of airtime: Here are my favourites: "Floating" Airtime: Colossos ( Heide Park) "Ejection Seat" Airtime: Expedition GeForce ( Holiday Park) The longest Airtime :I think it´s Superman the Ecape ( Six Flag Magic Mountain), but I´ve never been there. -
Question #9. 1 hour is correct. I think 5 hours are enought to see the main Attractions in the Phantasialand. Question #10 - Tripsdrill is one of the most beatuiful german theme parks. I think it takes one hour from Holiday Park to Trippsdrill. But I think you should stay longer in Trippsdrill than 2 hours. Because its very beatuifull there. Question #15 - Yes you can sleep on the ferry. Question #17 - Maybe there are some German fairs. I´m going o look for that. I

Best Drop Ride!!!
Peis replied to coaster_shorty's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My favourite Drop Ride: "Mystery Castle" in Phantasialand. It´s an Indoor Intamin Bungee-Drop. ( I think it´s the only Bungeedrop from Intamin) And has a "Scary Castle" Theming. -
The worst coaster ever was "Cool & Fresh" who was travling on german fairs. Photos: http://www.europeanrides.com/ridehtml/coast_coolandfresh.html Videos: http://www.europeanrides.com/homepage/videoclips.html
