  1. i don't think anyone likes seeing the old rides go. The park even regrets removing or having to remove some rides. But they are working hard to build the park and get more people to the park. They need to work on crowed management a bit though. the crowds were really bad this year. I think though they wont say that they broke a million this year.
  2. My first plans were to spend a complete day at Santa’s Village in Jefferson, NH. After a very slow start to the morning and allot of traffic on the road I changed my plans a bit. I got up into Northern NH and pulled into the welcome Station. The train from Hobo Railroad was puling through the intersection. After a quick detour I figured it was late and I was better off hitting Santa’s Village for the after 2:00 deal. So I opted to Took the long way around and drove by Clarks Trading Post. I stayed on Rt 3 and stopped next to Whales Tale to take a few pics. From there I maid my way past what used to be the Old man and to Santa’s Village. I always liked the fact that to get to Santa’s Village You have to Travel through the towns Of Bethlehem and Carol. While on 115 I stopped and took a few shots of the Scenery. It was Peek this weekend. From there I took the Rt 2A bypass to Jefferson center. But after realizing I still have allot of time left. I turned right instead of left and went over to Six Gun City. There closed already but I figured I could take a few shots of the coasters and the park. The park looks to have rebuilt the old west buildings in the park. Good to see the old ones were in poor shape. And the park new, very large, miler coaster the Gold Rush Express. From there I made my way to Santa’s Village. I had to wait a few minutes for 2:00 to com along. I paid $21.00 and got my ticket and a return pass that I can use at Christmas or next season. Since it was still main season I first walked back to the Flume. It’s not operating during the winder needless to say and I hadn’t ridden it in a couple years. So I took a couple rides. I walked over and road the S.S. Peppermint twist (Rockn’ Tug) before making my way into the Reindeer barn to check out the new Reindeer games. They have two very basic games and sitting at both ends of the barn nothing amazing but fun for the little ones. There is also a Flat screen TV that displays Christmas and reindeer trivia. I jumped on the Flying School (Hershel helicopter). Ya I know it’s a larger kiddie ride but they let adults ride. So I took a spin. Before hitting the bumper cars. I made my way to the Car ride. They redid it this year. The cares track sends you through sort of an outdoor dark ride: With flooded roads and cross winds Past a tow truck Past a town and through a Car wash with Mist and Bubbles. There are misters and sensors that set off sounds and effects. It’s an amazing upgrade to a very traditional park attraction. From there I road Rudy’s Rapid Transit the parks roller coaster. It’s a Zierer Double Figure eight coaster. I hoped on Fire brigade and despite my better sense red hot races. The ride used water jets to shoot your boat down the run. Back socked and cold I hoped on the coaster again. From there I walked back to the other end of the park. Took a few more rides on the Flume. I hit the Drummer boy tea cups and the Skyway Sleigh. I walked over and took a couple trips through Holly humbugs adventure (interactive dark ride). Scored a bit poorly 2,980 and 3,120 points, that’s low for me. But, my gun stopped working the first time and the second time it was firing crooked. Later I got a good gun and shot a 4,980 score. I walked around the park and got some pictures. Opted to skip a few attractions and concentrate on what won’t be open in December. After making a final round for rides I wanted to hit, I got a few more rides in on the flume since It would be closed on my next trip. There Christmas celebration! I finished off the day on the Coaster. I was eventually told to stay on and stop walking around. Thanks Bill! Over all I got 16 rides in on the coaster, 3 rides on Holly Humbug, 4 rides on the Flume, 3 rides on the car ride. I took a single ride on Red Hot Racers, fire brigade, S.S. Peppermint twist, Sky way Sleigh, and Drummer boy. Not a bad count for the last 3 hours of the day. So they closed at 5:00 and I spent some time talking to Bill, who is an Ace Member who was operating the coaster that day. I took my time leaving talking pictures and looking around. I grabbed a sample of fudge before leaving. It was nearly 6:00 before I got in my car and left. I was lever asked to leave. It was a great day at the park and I look forward to going back next year and During the Christmas holiday. So I drove home. I stopped and took a few more pictures on the way and ate at Britney’s café. This is in Lincoln on the Loon end of the strip. A great day and one of my last trips to the 2006 coaster season.
  3. No the Matterhorn hasn't run past the first month of the parks operating year. The park left the power connected and turned on the lighting system During the night. Matterhorn was running when I went in May, but it was runniong as slow as a kiddie ride. I also agree that Canobie Lake is an underated park. It has some good theming, it wasn't dirty at all, the ride operators were nice, and it has some pretty decent rides with a "classic" feel, and I can't wait until the frisbee opens! Ya they wanted to run it as is but the problems required a slower operating speed. Too many people didn't like it and They shut it down. they looked into fixing it but for the extra cost it wasn't worth it for a ride they have had for 20+years. I hate seeing the ride go but I'm sure something equally great will be coming in to replace it.
  4. Well I'm glad you will be going back. Canobie is such and underrated park. SFNE and LC Over shadows in in the grand scheme of Enthusiasts travails. Definitely down load the video it will help sooth the loss of missing the park this year.
  5. No the Matterhorn hasn't run past the first month of the parks operating year. The park left the power connected and turned on the lighting system During the night.
  6. The Bankruptcy that Huss went through slowed things down allot also anything going through customs takes forever nowadays. but it will be up and running next year. Shavethewhales - glad to hear Canobie is on your list. it's a great park that often gets over looked. most people that come into New England never get past SFNE and LC.
  7. Hercules - thanks for the great comments. I'm glad you liked the pictures allot of time went into them. Now that the park is closed I can say no big loose without feeling blasfamous. With the new entrance coming next year the park will look even better then before and with Frisbee and the matterhorn replacement added to the parks line up the Crowds should be better controlled then they were this year. Appolo - good to hear from you again. at least you got to the park before it closed. I'll also be at opening day. Its become a tradition for me. As for the Starblaster moon I'm not sure. I didn't really watch for it. Though a few trip reports said it wasn't spinning last week. I did notice that Betty boop, the Tiki atop the tiki maze, and the hamburger all were not spinning.
  8. It’s always a bummer to know your home park won’t be open till 2007. But as tradition hold I went to closing day. I met up with Methos and 2 of his friends. Methos bought on of my last 2 tickets from me. I got there around 11:00 and Methose and his friends got there a few minutes later. No bother it gave me some time to take some shots of the outside of the ark which was done up a bit more then normal. We got in the park wasn’t busy nor was it dead. For the predicted weather it was actually a better turn out then I thought. Much better then last year and the weather was good. We made our way to Cannonball and got the back seat. That’s always a plus. God ride, full of air time like normal, was a slight lake of speed though that got better as the say went by. From there we made out way along the back of the park, throwing out bits of Trivia to his friends. Did you know that bit Missile was once a ride. Things like that. We hit Star blaster and made our way to Skater. Methos and his friend hadn’t been on it yet. So we took a ride on skater and walked back to Phyco drome. Now Methos’s friend either hadn’t been to Canobie or hadn’t been in a long time because after every ride he was asking his friend how it was. So we hit the other rides in that area Caterpillar, DaVinci’s Dream, etc. I showed them a few hidden jokes. We went to Be bop to get something to eat. We grabbed miscellaneous sides and split them and ate at the Condiment bar to stay out of the rain which just started. We hit Corkscrew my first ride in a few trips. Normally no one wants to ride with me. So I don’t go. From there we went to Mine of Lost Souls. Always a fun ride but they need to rehab the ride a bit some effects are miss times and should be reworked. We road the Pirata, the parks pirate ship. Later we walked behind it to take a look at the Frisbee parts. We hit the flume Squeezing 4 adults into one boat. Always a fun ride and we had so much weight the splashes were huge. I was in front so I got reasonably wet. From there we made out way back to the middle of the park. Later in the day we also barley squeezed ourselves in to the Twist and Shout(tilt-a Whirl) We hit Whipout, round up, Turkish Twist, and Bumper cars. It started to when we got in line for bumper cars. Got hit pretty hard by Methos, you can see that in his video. We ran to the mall from there to get out of the rain. It rained 3 times during the day, once later in the evening. Huge very wet and winder storms that hit and left. The day was great outside of these few events. From there we started making rounds we’d hit more then half the park and hit things we remembered we’d missed. Methos took video for his project. Hit Vertigo Theater and ran into Ben From Canobie fan. The after noon was allot of random rides. Ocean trip, Canobie 500, etc. we stopped and took video. I took allot of photos. Methos and his friends went on Boston Tea Party I video taped them on that. I think I got a few really good shots. I normally don’t have this sort of time to just take shots and not rush. We hit extra rides on corkscrew (2), whipout, Cannoball, etc. just whatever we felt like. We’d been on everything we wanted so it was only a matter of getting a few extra rides in. We jumped on The Rowdy Roosters the park Flying Scooters ride. While they are chained and you can’t snap them Methos was sure he could at least get a good 90 degree turn out of them. Which all of us did. I took some interesting POV Video of it as well. We road the Train and I was able to get a couple good shots of the Extreme Frisbee parts. The ride is defiantly going to be very Colorful. It will be interesting to see what the finished product looks like. When the third storm came around we ducked into the Palace arcade. The arcade is a good side and I noticed that many broken down games of the games were not there. The new games manager made a point to get them out and into storage while they wait to be fixed. Methos and his friends played a few games I took a few pics in the arcade. Being late and close to closing it was too dark to take any more video. We just hit rides. We got in line for Cannonball and got 4 more rides in despite a slight malfunction with the brake release. We ended up missing the last train of the night by one group but still a soled last ride. Between the rain during the day and the days working the coaster was moving well with better then normal airtime. So thus ended the year of operation for 2006. They didn’t give an official 2007 opening day simply mentioned April. I grabbed a couple last time pictures of the Matterhorn on the way out. We all took out last steps past the pool (gone by the time you read this) and then through the soon to be replaced entrance. We parted ways Methos and his friends had a long drive back to RI and I had a slightly easier ride back to Brookline, NH. So here’s to a great and very busy 2006 season and for a quick return of park operation in 2007.
  9. The park still have 33 other rides you can go on. Just because the Frisbee isn't going to be open this your really isn't much of a reason to not go at all. as for the matterhorn replacement they don't know yet. they will Look for a replacement During this winters IAAPA event.
  10. 2 rides. The new Frisbee and a replacement for the Matterhorn ride. The only way it will be 3 is if they opt to but 2 family rides to take the place of the Matterhorn over 1 thrill ride. Vekoma Fan Boy - then I guess you went 2 days before me. You lucked out. Saturday was totally swamped.
  11. The ride will not be ready for the end of the season. They are still waiting on 4 representatives from Huss to help put the ride together. They do hope to have it together by the end of the operating year but they will not run it.
  12. That's actually a girl. the two employees were only secondarily doing meet and greets but more promoting the lets pretend costume shop with was right around the corner. but I had to show off a batman walking around Story land while SFi is cutting back on there meet and greet characters. The park is allot of fun it's build for younger kids but they made sure to not make the parents and older family feel out of place. larger rides like the Raft ride are 48 inches. and the park possible future expansion of a classic park themed area should bring in a whip ride, bumper cars, and a couple more games that should prove fun for both kids and adults alike.
  13. So here are some extra pictures from Story Land How can you have a storybook themed park without having an Old Lady’s shoe? The park has done allot of land work since last year. But the areas worked on look really good and natural. The new spot for the whirling whales make the ride stand out better then it used to. The park owns 6 cp Huntington trains. They operate 4-5 most days and has 3 deferent stops. Despite cut back at other parks batman has opted to get a new job at Story Land What is nice is that they try to make guest experiences great. Operators ate the carousel often help the younger guests rock there horses. You might also notice that the there is a box handing from a belt clip that has a quick call to the managers. These are scattered through the park. The cars Antique cars are actually very modern. They replaced the old cars back in 2001. These cars made by Chance are Electric cars not gas. The parks Pumpkin Coach ride is the best way to get to Cinderella’s castle. Tapers is a short Animatronic show. The show advertises the parks Sister Attraction the heritage. The heritage will be closing at the end of this year so I don’t know what will happen to this show. The park Consists of a number of small themed areas. The Dutch Village Story Land Junction The bridge to the world pavilion The pollar Coaster and Flying carped Sandwich oasis. Part of the world pavilion. The park has a small Mexican area Called Los Bravos . this is were you can play the only 2 games in the park a roller ball hoarse race game and a shooting gallery which uses large cameras instead of guns. The area also is home to the Los Bravos Silver mine which is a walk through attraction. it’s sort of half Crooked house attraction and half walk through dark ride. And I wrap this up with a couple of shots of the park central pond with the attractions build around it. The train and Dr. Geyser’s remarkable raft ride. The number 3 Hopkins raft ride. Here you can see Professor Biglstep’s loopy laboratory. There is a ball play in the front and a show in the back. This building used to hold the park Journey to the moon ride. You can also see the parks balloon Farris wheel.
  14. Apollo you much be fairly young. The Flume had been added a while after I stopped going to the park. I started going back in 84 when they still have the Ice berg coaster with the double water splash. more park photo's coming
  15. My original plans were to do 2 things. Either hit Canobie by My self or still by myself hit Heritage, Size Gun City for 4-5 hours, and then Santa’s Village after 3 so I could get a ticket deal. We Friday I found out that my Parents were going to be watching my niece and I suggested we hit Story Land and I could hit Heritage quite. So the plan was on. Saturday hit: I got up around 8:20 I didn’t plan to be there fro opening at 9:00 but I wanted to leave around that time. Well we didn’t get out of the house mostly my mothers doing. Then they wanted to get breakfast. So we hit Bickford’s on Amherst Street in Nashua. After a late start breakfast and a long drive there we didn’t get to the park till 1:45 pm. the park was open till 6 so at least we’d have a few hours and I had 2 free tickets and my 3-yaer-old niece was also free. my father paid the $22 dollar admission price. When we got there we were informed that it was a very busy day at the park and we are now parking cars behind the Hotel next door. So we parked and walked the 600ft or so to the entrance. The park defiantly was bust but being the afternoon people were already leaving. We made our way up the hill to the Cuckoo Clocknspiel, better known as the cuckoo spiel by my niece. We hit it just as the line boarded so we got right to the front of the line. Te ride is one of a kind a modern tea cup ride with an in house built cuckoo clock around it. The best tea cups to be found any were. We all road it my niece, parents, and myself. We then made our way down the hill to the Polar Coaster. The queue was full and we ended up waiting around 30 minutes for the ride. But, like normal it’s allot of fun and being able to ride with my Niece at my side was a great joy. Back set ride, two train operation. We made our way back to the newest sections of the park. First area you come to is the oceans of Fun area. We walked past the Spay ground and the Whirling Whales in there new location. They look great with the Built up land and Look better then they did in there old location. We got in line for the Turtle twirl. There a Normal Tilt-a-Whirls but with a really nice turtle theme. Like before this area of the park had full Queues. We were on in about 15-20 minutes. I then brought my Niece on the Flying fish. The Flying fish is Story Land’s newest ride. It is a Larson Flying scooters ride with really nice brightly colored Fish painted on. This was my nieces very first Flying scooters ride and I got to take her. The ride moves at a moderate speed, faster then some but not at full speed. The fins also have bumpers to limit the amount you can turn them. You can get a plus 90 degree turn but you can’t snap them. But given it’s location in a family park I can see why. I can’t complain if they were snapable the height requirement likely would have been higher preventing me from bringing my niece on. After an enjoyable Scooter ride my family worked there way up to the parks newest themed area. We hit my niece’s favorite ride in the farm area the Crazy barn first. There wasn’t much for lines this far into the park. We walked on and sate to the right ride. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten to watch the ride operate from this side and had to laugh at the simplicity of the metering system on it. This ride is built by Preston Barbieri rides. We then hit the farm areas second ride the egg-traordinary Tractor ride. These are set up so that the Child is in the front seat. I had to ride alone since the tractor hold only 2 children in the front and 2 adults in the back. Nice ride moves like a dark ride past animated farm vegetables, past horses and cows, and through a barn were an Animatronic farmer takes your picture. We stopped and watched one of the quite Farm shows from the trailer set up. This trailer used to be moved from exhibit to exhibit as an divertimento for the park. My parents wanted to get a quick snack for my niece so we went back down to the Sea area to Lighthouse snacks. We got one hotdog and 3 Souvenir cups (22 oz). That came to a little over $7 dollars. After taking a quick breather we worked out way to the Bamboo chutes. I rode with my father and niece. The line was out the queue Building. Wait about 13 minutes. So we road this very enjoyable but short flume. We opted to buy the on-ride Photo. That set up back a whole $8 dollars for a 5X7 photo with custom Sleeve. Other parks could learn from this they keep there price down offer a high quality product and people are buying them like water bottles before a hurricane. Well we didn’t have much time left so we wanted to hit a few things we know my niece would lie so again she didn’t get on the safari ride because it would et up our remaining time. So we walked to the Cinderella’s fair area and road the Antique German Carousel. This carousel features horses on rocker springs and not the traditional American jumping style. With very little time left we hit the Tea cup ride since my Niece was asking for them. They are a classic Cuddle up style ride with the 2 spinning gears and free spinning cups. Like the rest of the park the operators had an appropriate costume reflecting that rides theme or that area of the park. On this tea cup ride the operator were a Alice inspired dress. As we got off the PA can on informing up that Mother Goose would like to inform us that story land is now closed and that she wishes us all safe travels and a great day…. they then played the Growing time at Story land song from the Farm fillies show. We opted to let the traffic die down and let my niece use the Tree house play area before we left. There were maybe a dozen families doing the same thing. Now people ask about closing the park later but it’s not needed. By 7:00 it’s starting to get dark and there are very few lights in the park. Also they don’t force you out like at most parks. After the playground my mother changed my niece and washed her up. I walked around and took a few pictures at the front of the park. Managers were busy packing up and spent time to say hello and have a good night. But we were not asked to leave. In fact we didn’t leave till around 7:15. The park closes at 6:00. Also my niece got a balloon before we left. The park has a vending machine. You put in 4 quarters and the machine gets the color balloon you choose, fills it, and drops it out. The balloon already had a novel bottom that seals and has a string connected to a weight so the balloon can’t get away. In all despite the extremely late start and short day it was allot of fun. It was good to see all the new land work being done around the park and people working on landscaping, the cleaning crews, and friendly staff as we walked around. All of which is handled in a Disney like fashion. Best yet I got to experience the park with my niece. It’s been 5 years since I got to see the park with a child. It’s allot deferent them being on your own.
  16. part two: food and rides! Well the food Selection got Bigger this year with the addition of the Dragons Tea house. The attraction got a few new signs lately. And a Couple Pleasant Surprises to be found at Cafe D'or The mist was operating on the Tea cup and they know offer Gelato in 6 unique flavors. A new sign has appeared by the Cannonball line !!!!Rides!!!! Well i can't have anything about rides without having a shot of DaVinci's Dream i took a Couple Nice shots of the Train My camera has terrible night modes but I was able to get a few Good shots of the Whip out and carousel Building. Some shots of the Menagerie and band organ I'll wrap this up with a Couple shots of the parks attractions old and new. The electric Fountain one of the parks original attraction is still operating and got some work done this off season. And the New Midway Stage Build just last year. I'm not too sure but that might be the parks required FAA reserve on the roof of the Building.
  17. Well here are the pics from my last trip Sorry for the delay! I watched all the shows that ran that day. 3 hot Tickets Cher: Do you Believe And Professor Uncanny i opted to Take a run through Castaway Island I'd never used it in the past but it was enjoyable. Found BTP's missing shark The cool Smoothie stand and matching t-shirt. The attraction looks Great when running and the area themeing is also well done. Matterhorn is still closed needless to say and the park hasn't done anything to indicate it will remain closed. Seeing it site there just teases me. i don't use the arcade much but I've always liked the look of Canobie's While I'm not the Biggest fan of Skater. it looks allot better now that they build the walls around the Sports and added landscaping. Any one who visited the park in the 80's might remember this sign from the remote control car attraction.
  18. Overall best food Chain park - Busch Gardens Williamsburg family park - Story Land Glen, NH Pizza Chain park - Disney Animal Kingdom Family owned Santa's Village Jefferson, NH Junk food Chain owned - Lake Compounce's Fried oreos Restaurant Chain park - anything in Epcot's World Showcase Family Owned - Partitions Canobie Lake Park
  19. Well The grounds were finished fast. Looking good. i guess know all were waiting for is the rest of the ride.
  20. i personally like the rides and find the ride Unique as far as ride sensation goes. far better then the skaters and disco's. But on the ride setting and ride Cycle the Ride can be very thrilling. As for Revolution i can't say much I've never been on it. you could always after it's open Fly into Manchester , NH Airport and Drive down toe Canobie.
  21. I posted the Photos on Thrillnetwork. Rather then Clogging up other sites feel free to See them there. Link to Thrill network Boards
  22. always a pleasure. I feel that many of these smaller Parks Get overlooked just because they don't have a corporate name in front of them. yet many of them could Run circles around many of the Corporate parks. Still working on pics they'll be on there way soon.
  23. Well after many failed trip plans to return to Canobie Lake Park this year I finally had a workable date and some one to go with. My brother, his fiancé (he proposed at LC a few weeks ago), and I went to the park today. Our main goal was to hit the pool, see this year’s shows and Check up of Extreme Frisbee. Both proved very Success full. After getting a very lat start and not leaving till around 10:45 we didn’t get to the park till nearly noon. As we pooled in the parking lot was 2/3rds full and we were signaled by a security guard to a parking spot to the right of the entrance. We left some of the stuff in the park and walked to the gate. Since we already had tickets, my pre season purchase and 2 free tickets from the park, we went right in. We hit the pool first. I can see why they are taking this out. As we walked in I peeked at the counter at the turn style and there had been 20 people through since the pool opened at 10:30. Later in the day we say around a hundred people in the pool at most. Nut much of a draw since Castaway cam in. We spent around 30 minutes in the pool. I used the dive board a few times. The pools nice worm enough to be comfortable in the deeper side. From there we got out but I wanted to hit Castaway since it was slow. My group didn’t want to so I had to go it alone. A trend for the day! Castaway Island was fun. It’s not great family oriented but lacks many thrills to the slides. The Complex has 9 slides ranging from 4ft to around 45ft. I skipped the tiny one and did the rest. The slides were enjoyable and the larger slides provided a few good banks on the larger slides. The splash areas were all so full I got water jetted up my nose nearly every time I hit the bottom. Chlorine was present but not strong. There were around 300-500 people using it and it got busier later in the day. From there we hit the shows: Professor uncanny - This is the parks new kids show. It proved to be the best show of the day. The show is simple we watched it twice I got pulled up on stage the second show. There are a couple songs and they do a few tricks. The slide of hand tricks were good especially the bubble catch at the beginning. The box trick wish shapes being pushed through and a not so Quick change. I video taped it at around 30 seconds. As far as the pull up and drop that was half of it. Ran about 25 minutes Cher: Do You Believe - This is the impersonation show that replaced the very popular Elvis show. It’s in the Dance Hall and has AC. Well the show isn’t that great. The impersonator looks nothing like Cher and wares way too much make up to attempt to give here Cher like attributes like check bones. While she wasn’t singing she was constantly making fish faced to make her checks more prominent. She also needed to be a little taller, about 30 pounds heavier, and have at least another cup size. In all she didn’t look much like Cher. We aren’t really sure she wasn’t lip Synching since her mouth didn’t seem to move with the song being song. The Bonus is the show is very well choreographed and the dancing was good. The two females that danced were very talented and acrobatic. That saved the show from being a complete loss. we watched the show twice I only because I wanted to get some pics. The second show (last of 3) was nearly empty. Lasted around 25 minutes. 3 hot Tickets - This show has been changed since the beginning of the your. It’s now a Country music review. The song selections are all top 20 songs. Problem is the cast seems a bit rusty on how to sing them and there is no structure. Basically one person introduces the other performers they perform. In fact the ones not singing hide out in the back of the audience. It reminded me of a talk show or high school talent night. Lasted about 20 minutes. The park has one other show CL5. This show doesn’t operate on Mondays So I haven’t seen this one yet. I have had mixed reviews. I will hold off comment till I see it. Between hitting shows we hit rides. I hit Timber splash, wet side since it was a walk on. I also hit Roundup, Tea cups, DaVinci’s, and ocean tip by my self since my brother and his Fiancé didn’t want to ride them. My brother and I hit Pirata. This ride is great but needs to be refurbed. The ride takes so long these days to get up to speed that you only get like 2 full swings before they slowing you down. Why they worry about capacity with a short line and a 45 passenger boat I don’t know. We also hit Star blaster, Cannonball, mine of lost souls, Log Flume (at night), Lake Cruse, Phycodrome, and the train. The rides were a secondary and shows combined with the water attractions the day was pretty well filled. The mine of lost souls is still one of my favorite dark rides. But many of the gags haven’t worked. The park takes such good care of there rides and it’s sad that hay haven’t kept up on this one. I would like them to install a second dark ride with animatronics just so it would be practical to keep some one on payroll to keep them up. My main want for riding the train is it brought us Right by the Parts for the new Extreme Frisbee. There lined up around Buss Rd right in back of the Wooden Nickel. I was also able to take a look at the cleared land next to Castaway which had about 9 trucks parked on it. Another fun thing about the train was talking to a Girl and her family. This was there first trip to Canobie. they Live just past Worchester, MA and presently only went to SFNE. With the increase in price they opted to go elsewhere and Picket Canobie. The family said they actually liked Canobie better and planed on visiting more often and giving up on SFNE. I mentioned to them that there is also Lake Compounce and they might want to check out that park as well. We ate at Portafino’s and got a full Cheese Pizza. The hole meal Pizza and 3 drinks can to $21.96, not bad. I took a few pics of DaVinci’s while the pizza was being cooked. We hit the Lake Crouse right after Dinner to relax. W We hit rides for the rest of the night and Finished off the day on cannonball. They really out to just get rid of the old Concrete walkway they have to exit because everyone just used the wheelchair ramp. Over all a nice day staff was friendly and got a few hello and how your day. This is without it being a park requirement. Bunic students are At the park I talked to a Girl named Alona (a-Lun-a) that was running the Flume. Really interesting name and a solid employee Smiled to everyone and tried to talk to them when she could. I still have 3 tickets left and 2 months to use them in so I think I will be taking a couple of trips alone. not like I didn’t do half of today alone. I’ll have plenty of pics and I’ll post a separate Extreme Frisbee info and pics in those threads Found on the site.
