obviously unfinished as there is no foliage yet. What do you think of the waterfall before the corkscrews? The ride is based on the Demon/Turn of the Century rides at the Great Americas SCR6.BMP -

interesting layout. brake run seems a bit short given the speed that you have entering it. -

Well I made it outside at least before I was at 1 FPS. Great job on the ride. -

A new park I'm starting. Took forever to get the sandbox to be peepable. Finally got it though I lost a bunch of work. Here is the Park Hotel and a wooden coaster. SCR2.BMP -
My interest in the park is winding down so I will finish with a final update for the last two areas. But first some changes. I've redone Tomcat again. Back to gray supports, and I changed the end of the ride this time. Rather than the low to ground finish I put in a helix. SCR26.BMP Tomcat and Medusa Now on to the first of the two new areas. SCR25.BMP Dark Overview First up is Medusa, a B&M inverted coaster. SCR16.BMP Medusa Back SCR38.BMP Medusa 2 Next we have Raven, a B&M Sitdown launch coaster. SCR24.BMP Raven Entrance SCR23.BMP Raven Front A shot of Stratosphere's drop interaction with the area. There is a seating / observation area along with a food court. SCR17.BMP Stratosphere drop interaction The last ride in the area is in a location that I have rebuilt what seems like seven or eight times. For now it contains Vulture, a twisted wooden coaster. SCR22.BMP Vulture SCR21.BMP Vulture Station And just to make this REALLY long. The final area of the park. By far the largest area of the park, it features four Coasters, a Drop Tower, a large boat splash ride, a go kart track, a large open air food court, and many more exciting flat rides. SCR28.BMP Boardwalk Overview 1 SCR29.BMP Boardwalk Overview 2 The First coaster5 is Wildcat, the park's Jr wooden coaster. SCR12.BMP Wildcat Next up is a Schwarzkopf Speed / Jumbo Jet coaster called Hurricane. Thanks goes out to QueerRudie for helping me improve both the layout and the station. SCR33.BMP Hurricane Front SCR34.BMP Hurricane Back Next up is Blue Angel, by far the crowd's favorite coaster. A B&M Standup, it features a Loop and two Corkscrews. SCR30.BMP Blue Angel 1 SCR11.BMP Blue Angel 2 The Splash Boat ride. SCR6.BMP Big Splash Finally, Nitro, a Schwarzkopf looping coaster. SCR37.BMP Nitro Station SCR36.BMP Nitro 1st half SCR35.BMP Nitro 2nd Half That's it for this park. If anyone wants, I can upload it to the exchange and put up a link. Thanks for those that have commented and given suggestions. I really appreciate it as I realize I am rather mediocre at building in RCT2. The only way to get better is for people to give constructive criticism. Thanks again.

looks good. Not sure about the break between the ride and wooden / catwalk at the top of the lift. Maybe round it out so there is a constant connection. Otherwise it looks wonderful. -
Thrill Gardens (RCT2)
AngryGiant replied to simaticable's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
For the MCBR, I would suggest adding in regular brakes before the block. Even if they are maxed out so it doesn't slow down the train, it looks better. -
Thanks for the suggestions and comments. Stratosphere Updates Speed turn SCR66.BMP Update on Stratasphere 1 Brake Run SCR67.BMP Update on Stratosphere 2 Sonic Update SCR55.BMP Sonic Station Front SCR54.BMP Sonic Station Rear Final change for original area, I decided to lengthen Tomcat as well as added in a river for it to interact with. SCR51.BMP Tomcat Update Western Area SCR68.BMP Western Area Overview The first thing to notice is a lot has changed from my initial post. The GIB is gone. Sad to say it went the way of the real ones. High intensity, and high maintenance means it doesn't stay. But instead we have a sit down boomerang called Copperhead and a log flume called Snake River Falls. SCR58.BMP Copperhead and Snake River Falls Station SCR59.BMP Snake River Falls Splash zone Finally there is an Arrow Suspended Swinging coaster called Loggar's Run. Themed to a fort, you pass through the walls until you make it to the barracks with the station. The ride features two lift hills and several tunnels. SCR65.BMP Loggar's Run Station SCR62.BMP Loggar's Run First Half SCR63.BMP Loggar's Run Second Half As we enter the area we have a sit down restaurant called Lady Jane's House of Ill Repute. Across from that there is a twisted wooden coaster called Buzzsaw. SCR56.BMP Buzzsaw Moving along the path we have an S&S Combo Tower called Mine Shaft. On one side you freefall, on the other you are launched. SCR57.BMP Mine Shaft Combo Tower As we reach the end of the area there are two more coasters. The first is a family coaster called Crawler (name subject to change. originally had the ladybug cars, but was recently switched to the log cars to fit the theme better.) SCR61.BMP Crawler Finally we have Snakebite. A variation on the Schwartzkopf Shuttle loop / Premier Shuttle Coaster. You are launched through several keyhole tunnels, around a turn, and then into a loop. SCR60.BMP Snakebite Comments and suggestions are always welcome. I try to take everything into account when updating.

So a while ago I reinstalled RCT3 on my laptop. It was working great for a while, but recently my graphics card started to go. I decided to try RCT2 due to the fact that it is no where near as graphic intensive. I still have some issues with the computer, but it works a bit longer on RCT2. So due to the fact that I haven't played RCT2 in about 4-5years, I don't have much in the way of custom scenery, and I have to desire to nitpick through the endless list of CSO's that have come with parks that I have recently downloaded. I decided to use one of the stock scenarios with the help of 8cars for money and date management I have built this park. It is no hack / CSO's. Just what came in the premade scenario. Chinook Lake is the centerpiece for this single circle 4 area park. SCR35.BMP Chinook Lake Overview Around the entrance is Sonic. An Arrow 7 looper with a variation at the beginning. It started out as a simple double loop double cork, but was then expanded. SCR1.BMP Sonic Overview SCR26.BMP Sonic Station SCR27.BMP Sonic 2nd Half Behind the drop of Sonic is Stratosphere, an Intamin Giga coaster. SCR28.BMP Stratosphere Station and Sonic Drop SCR2.BMP Stratosphere Overview SCR34.BMP Stratosphere Long Bank Turnaround The final ride in the entrance area is a Wooden coaster called Tomcat SCR3.BMP Tomcat Overview There are also many flat rides for both the family and the thrill seeker. But I will leave that for a later update. Please leave comments. As always it is still a WIP, but I wanted to get some feedback as most of the areas are filled in and it is to the point of making it look nicer. I would eventually like to release the park if there is enough interest.

Thanks for the advice. I'm really going by memory for a lot of the station. The inspiration is Whizzer at SFGam. Haven't been there in about 10 years, so I guess it's a little fuzzy. The exit station was more for functionality in-game than realism as now it merely blocks up before the station. Unfortunately the lift doesn't count as a block. I built the full building station because I loath the look of the ingame entrance/exit. I went back and redid the helix and the station so it is more of what you were saying. Let me know what you think and thanks for commenting. Updated pics SCR23.BMP View 1 SCR24.BMP View 2 Edit: I went back and added a block brake at the top of the lift. It changes the entrance to the first turn, but I guess it has to work. -

Some photos from an NCS park I've been working on. I'm almost done with it and will make a thread soon. I still need names for many of the rides, including these two. SCR1.BMP Unnamed Schwarzkopf coaster SCR3.BMP Unnamed Vekoma GIB variation -
I would suggest editing the video so half of it isn't staring at the lift hill. Also, are there actually brakes on the downward incline before the station? I know they are on the Stormrunner track diagonal, but I didn't realize they were on the extended track. Looks good, although I personally don't like POV's that are at track level, doesn't give you the feel of the ride as much. Anyway's, looks good.

More than likely the rocks you see are custom scenery objects.(CSOs) They don't have the same spacial requirements as the stock scenery. This is for walls and pathcovers as well. There is a decent list here at shyguy's world. Otherwise there are countless other sites that have custom scenery, rides, coaster trains, etc. Hope this helps. -

It's been so long, I don't even remember what email I used at the time. The laptop I have is on its last leg thanks to EU3 burning up one of my dual cores. My days of being able to play RCT3 are numbered at this point. I have heard good things about the guys behind NoLimits, but I just don't think it will be worth digging through everything to get the key/download. -

re seashells: sorry brainfart. Been a while since I played NoLimits. Bought it about 8yrs ago (could be wrong on timing, but a LONG time ago) and it got lost in the shuffle of new computers. Will probably buy NoLimits2 when it comes out. -

Great looking ride. Not sure about the trains. Firstly colors. Yellow w\ Blue OTSR's doesn't really fit. Secondly, why not make white a seashell B&M. I don't remember seeing any inversions on that side and I think the Seashells would be fine. Other than that I think the tracks interweave beautifully.
