  1. I have a five paragraph essay worth 15 percent of my grade due in two days and thats cool but I have nothing else to do becasue I am grounded for bad grades. I just cant figure out how to speak spanish and on top of it all i have a ridicoulas amount of homework that sometimes takes me until two in the morning to finish F*** Sophmore year. I just wanna graduate so i can get a damn job already and get out of my life because i am going to sound totally stuck up for saying this but living in the worlds safest city in one of the most dangerous states is boring. I mean if anyone else lives in Irvine there is nothing to do here besides go to the movies or disneyland or knotts.
  2. murder manor has a crappy ass ending but last year i got such a good scare walking out. Tho know how at the end of the maze when you exit that room there is a small exit room before you go to the main path. Well down the brown hallway a chainsaw guy chased me and my frienjds into a guy who was hiding in the exit room. First time a shaker can guy has ever scared me.
  3. I am frequently on this site and screamscape.com and they seem to think that knott's is getting a pony express themed booster bike ride or even a ride like maveric. 2008 / 2009 - Ghost Town / Wilderness Redevelopment / Mystery Lodge removal / New Coaster - Rumor - (9/3/07) A reader has sent in a few more shots of the Ghost Town construction site as they are pouring new pathways around the old Ranger Station building. (8/20/07) Today we’ve got a few interesting photos from Knott’s Berry Farm to share, sent in by a reader. We got a new look at the Ranger Station in Ghost Town, a look into the behind the scenes area between here and GhostRider where the steel structure for a new building is going up. Meanwhile the old shooting gallery across from the Timber Mountain Log Ride was closed and is being gutted to make way for a rumored new Panda Express. (8/17/07) New construction photos from Knott’s Berry Farm have been posted to Theme Park Village showing off the Ghost Town project as well as a few haunt construction photos. (8/14/07) We’ve got two new photos from Knott’s showing off the newly relocated Ranger Station building on it’s new foundation in Ghost Town. (8/13/07) I haven’t seen a photo yet, but from the sound of things the park has moved the Ranger Station building over to the new foundation in Ghost Town. (8/10/07) The latest development from Knott’s Berry Farm claims that the open spot in Ghost Town may have been done to make a new home for a few of the park’s other attractions, possibly the Wilderness Scrambler and the Ranger Station. The thought is that then they might remove the Bigfoot Broiler and Mystery Lodge to open up another space for the rumored Pony Express project. (And they would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for those darn kids...) (8/7/07) A new photo update from Knott’s Berry Farm was added to Westcoaster this week showing off the foundation for something small inside the Ghost Town clearing, Perilous Plunge up and running once again, the still closed Timber Mountain Log Ride, and some early Halloween Haunt construction in progress. (7/25/07) All eyes are on Ghost Town these days, waiting to see just might pop up for next season and I think we may have the answer. Taking a page from this year’s successful new Sierra Sidewinder, the park may opt to add another great family attraction like this in 2008. The kicker here is that this may be a throwback to a once popular but lost Knott’s Berry Farm attraction… the Great Soap Box Derby. If the latest rumors are true, a new Ghost Town horse themed steeplechase style coaster may be in development under the name “The Pony Express”. The project may extend from the Ghost Town site running towards the Bigfoot Rapids and Mystery Lodge area and back. Though keeping an eye on capacity, I’ve got to wonder if this could really be a horse themed version of the Vekoma Booster Bike coaster. Anyone know more? (7/4/07) Ground clearing has begin in Knott’s Berry Farm’s Ghost Town area where bulldozers have leveled the area along the train tracks between the old graveyard and Dance Hall building, removing whatever building was there in between, the old wooden bridge access from the back of the cemetery to the back of the Dance Hall area as well as all the large trees that were also here. It’s a real interesting location too… still surrounded by other buildings, but close to the Mystery Lodge area where survey markers have been spotted and there has been speculation of a major project going in for years. (6/18/07) Screamscape sources tell us that while Bigfoot Rapids isn’t going anywhere… we will see significant changes to the entire area around it in the not too distant future. (6/6/07) More survey markings have been added to the path outside Mystery Lodge this week. You can see them in photos posted to Coaster Realm. Makes me wonder how much time Mystery Lodge may have left. (5/18/07) It could be nothing or it could be a sign of the park’s next big project, but WestCoaster did come upon several markings on the ground in the Bigfoot Rapids area. (2/16/07) It's been awhile since I’ve heard anything more about redeveloping the Wilderness area of the park, but when a reader mentioned the idea once again, everything suddenly clicked together for me. For starts, forget about how Kingdom of the Dinosaurs may or may not fit in as a new coaster station. My thought process is this... what if Knott’s were to get the next Maverick style coaster going into Cedar Point in 2007? Lets say you remove the Wilderness Lodge to create some extra space but imagine a similar coaster to Maverick over the top of the Bigfoot Rapids? They may have to modify Bigfoot in the process, but they could use the great themeing and water elements of Bigfoot Rapids as a base to put down even more themed elements for a new coaster. Then more low to the ground and semi “family friendly” style design of Maverick would fit in perfect with Knott’s, and provide the park with a new looping coaster, one with a beyond vertical first drop, and the park’s first with a magnetic launch as well. Anyone else heard any rumors that may fit this possible plan or am I just dreaming? (10/19/06) The rumors have been trickling in over the past month that not only may Mystery Lodge be on the way out but Bigfoot Rapids as well. The two attractions pretty much define the entire south end of Knott’s and make up an entire region by themselves. Why the sudden interest in demolishing a major section of the park? It’s easier to understand if you take a look at the overhead photos of the park area and of the south side in general. Knott’s has already expanded to the streets around it on three of it’s four sides... with only the south side reserved for it’s warehouses and employee only areas as well as it’s hotel and overflow parking lots. If the park ever wants to expand to become bigger then the only place they can move is to the South. Of course not only would they have to demolish Mystery Lodge and Bigfoot rapids in the process but also their own backstage buildings that would have to be relocated elsewhere. Obviously this is a costly process that could take years to complete, but they did undertake a similar action back when they created GhostRider. Of course these are only rumors at this point and a good bit of speculation on my part but from a business point of view, it’s really the only way Knott’s can expand and they have bought up a fair amount of property in the surrounding areas around the park over the years that could serve as good locations for new warehouses and office buildings. (10/9/06) Has the Owl of death come to look upon Knott’s Mystery Lodge attraction? We’ve heard a rumor this week that indicated that there was talk about replacing it with a new project. Of course there are enough people out there that don’t care for the slower pace and storytelling nature of the Mystery Lodge that would love to see it removed anyway, so rumors about it’s destruction have to be taken with a grain of salt. 4. Caption Contest I wonder if Jeff Johnson would consider this a beastiality credit.
  5. Also the nre mazes better be promising because terror vision and Hatchet are both gone
  6. Joey whichj maze r u working in? Maybe I will see you there because I will be going with a bunch of my friends because we love the haunt. Too bad that they are killing H.H. and keeping lore but I guess that maybe killer klown kollege will be slightly like hatchet. I Can Only Hope
  7. First of all i got this off themeparkadventure.com which although it is not a good theme park site is the best for halloween haunt. Now onto Vffreak's maze descriptions. Grudge 2 was a very elaborate maze based off the grudge. You walked through the haunted grudge house wth grudge girls everywhere. They also used many mechanical special effects to make this maze really good. Assylum pretty uch speaks for itself but you go into the Mangler Assylum and walk through dark halls with crazy patients and staff. There is a lot of blood and gore in this maze which makes it cool. Tied for my favorite maze. Feary Tales is not a very good maze for scares but if you are looking for interesting his maze is very artistically done and because you have to walk through FT. to get to the Assylum so it is worth it. 13 Axe. Murder Manor is a really cool maze and even though I dont know exactly what the theming is. The year before I thought there was a specific storyline until I was chased by a werewolf and like an alien. Anyway this is tied for my favorite with the assylum. Lost Vegas is just not very good but fun to do if you are bored or scare easily. The other mazes I have been on are either gne or i did not have time to go into them. Joey I was wondering if you had any info on Killer Klown Kollege and where it is located because I dont know where they could put it near accelerator. I am also interested in All the Other new mazes Particularly Beowulf Labrynth and Doll Factory Is there any pyro effects in pyromaniax Also i know u work there so what do u have to do to audition. These questions are open to anyone who has info THX
  8. thats awesome because knotts is like 20 mins. away and when i get a car i can work there in two years. Jeep posting if you get new haunt information.
  9. Hey I remember Rob saying how he would like Knotts better if their mazes changed more like the universal mazes did and I am very glad to say that Knotts is stepping up to the challenge quite nicely. Instead of their usuaul 1 new maze per year Knotts is getting an amazing 5 new mazes this year. Not to mention they are keeping the best mazes and somehow they are keeping the Grudge. They are also keeping Assylum and Myurder Manor. THe only 2 mazes that should go are feary tales and Red Beards Revenge. Anyway here is a list of new mazes from theme park adventure which is another website i think i am a member of. Though its not nearly as good as TPR and it does not love HHN ober the haunt. Anyway here are the mazes. MAZES & ATTRACTIONS FOR 2007: BEOWULF LABYRINTH INTO DARKNESS - THE LAKE PYROMANIAX - LOG RIDE THE DOLL FACTORY - WILDERNESS DANCE HALL KILLER CLOWN KOLLEGE - XCELERATOR BLACK WIDOW'S CAVERN - MINE RIDE LORE OF THE VAMPIRE - BALLOON RACE ASYLUM - GHOSTRIDER 1 RED BEARD'S REVENGE - MAIN GATE FEARY TALES - GHOSTRIDER 2 13 AXE MURDER MANOR - MYSTERY LODGE THE GRUDGE 2 - FIESTA PLAZA LOST VEGAS - BUMPER CARS DARK REALM LAZER RAGE - STAGECOACH TRAIL I have a few questions if any 1 has bween in the past because I have been three times and have no idea how xcellerator can be used as a maze. Also for any monsters who work at the haunt how do u become a monster and did you have to take years of acting or drama because i really want to be a monster. CJ OMG the Haunt will be here in 2 months Morton
  10. look what I found on the internet I’m told that Universal Studios Florida is finalizing terms to bring a type of “Harry Potter World” to its Orlando resort. The themed area would be at a previously unused portion of the amusement park. The negotiations have been kept uber-secret. This is in addition to the The Simpsons ride deal I announced earlier this week. (Previously, various online blogs and websites that follow theme parks have posted only unconfirmed rumors about both.) Having Harry will be like a cash cow for Uni. Posted by Nikki Finke This is the from a site called This could be very bad for Universal. I am a big fan of the books but I dont think that they can make good rides out of Harry Potter. I mean I guess they could make an ok simulation ride but I just cant see an entire Harry Potter themed area being very good
  11. im ib as soon as i figure out how to use the camera feature in RCT3
  12. season fiale totally owned. Except is Hiro in Japan because he went back in time because he can usuaully decide where he wants to go but he was suprised to be there. I cant wait till september until season 2
  13. first of all UI have to say minuites to midnight rocks but at the same tiime so does the black parade. I am currently listening to teenagers by My Chem. but will probably then listen to given up by LP
  14. How much is warped tour and is My Chem go9od live. I really wanted to see them on tour but my mom said I was too young.
  15. I am not really sure where to put this, but my friends birthday will be at Disneyland in 2 weeks and I thought it would be cool to have an Astroblasters competition and the winner gets braging rights but that would be really cool. I will bring my Grandpa's videocamera, if he lets me, and I dont necessarily have to be the first one to do this I just thought it would be cool. The only rule is that you need to tape the whole ride or at least the score at the beginning to the end so we can make sure that you are not cheating. Anyway I just thought this was a cool idea so if you have anyother ideas or anything to add just comment or something CJ contest champion Morton
  16. Riddlers rocks but someday when I dont live with my parents maybe I will try to make a trip to Cear Point even thoughI dont know what state its in. I think it was Ohio but I am not sure.
  17. I just saw a video on youtube that showed Rockin' Rollercoaster, Space Mountain Mission 2, and the Indy that goes upside down, so basically what I am asking is are there really three rides in a Disney park that all contain inversions? I live in So Cal so I have been on California Screamin' which is probably one of my favorite coasters, and I can say the same about the Rockin' Rollercoaster in Florida, but if Disney wants to make more money it should do this to every park. The Hollywood area of CA would be so perfect for Rockin' Rollercoaster. Oh well, at least we may get Carland in California and from what I saw the concept art was really cool. Probably just wishful thinking. CJ "really wish we had a Disney park with 3 rides that go upside down" Morton
  18. Just out of pure curiosity how long do you think we have had to wait at Disneyland in CA to get a new ride. The newest rollercoaster is mullholland maddness which opened a month after california adventure opened Nice picks though and a pov would be really cool if you have one CJ I really wish I was at Busch Gardens right no Morton
  19. Is Riddlers still the tallest and fastest standup coaster in the world. And also why is it that people dont like standups Of course all I have been on is Riddlers and that was pretty fun and smooth
  20. A lot of people say stand up coasters suck, but we have Riddlers Revenge at Magic Mountain, so I am wondering if there are any standups, in like the world, that can match this amazing ride. The only bad part is the painful straps, though of course this is the only standup I have ever been on.
  21. Ghostrider at Knotts Still probably Calfornia's best woody or at least so cals best woody because i have not been to great adventure to ride grizzly but i dont know why ghostrider gets such a bad rep because it has a hell of a lot of airtime and the second half of the ride is really hard to keep your hands up because of the supports right above your head.
  22. thats weird that you love the mine train because Rob hates everything about it except for the view.
  23. Maybe, if it wasn't for the fact that the Simpsons have sucked for the past 6+ years. The simpsons is probably the best animated show in history and is probably going to be one of the most remembered shows of all time when it goes off the air. Also it is probably one of if not the most succesful anuimated show of all time.{The only reason i say this is that southpark still has at least a few more seasons but i think that simpsons will cancel after the movie but hopefull i am wrong about it being canceled}
