Update / Trip Report - 10/31/06 First off, lets start with the list of closed rides. Freefall Orient Express X Psyclone Log Jammer Jet Stream Roaring Rapids Colossus Forwards Ninja Cyclone 500 I know that i might be forgetting something, but as soon as i remember, i'll add it. The park was pretty much empty throughout the day. people started showing up around 6 Rides Running only one train Goliath Colossus Backwards Scream! Viper Riddler's Revenge Goldrusher Revolution I didn't really go on that many rides today because operations were the most horrible that i have ever seen them. the rides that i did go on were: Goliath Viper Colossus Backwards Scream! Deja Vu and Superman Tatsu alone had about 10 minute dispaches, but at least it was running two trains. I really dont belive that the crew knew how to operate it today. The only person that i believe that has been operating that ride before is Emanuel. I didn't even bother going on it. I was standing in the station and the retarded ride op (who i've never seen before) accidently reset the ride. Truly horrible. Deja Vu's operations were actually really good. as usual. Goliath operations were horrible. Colossus backwards operations were horrible Viper operations were ok Scream! operations were horrible and Superman operations were really good. I pretty much sat around the park from about 3:00 pm and on, just checking out the stores and stuff. Shows: Roadkill Kitchen: This show was actually pretty fun. It was quite enjoyable and entertaining. the acting was really good. Globe of Death: This was really good. how could watching three daredevils on motorcycles ride around at 35mph through a big globe not be entertaining. Mazes I wanted to start out with Deadman's bog. It was supposed to open at 6:30, but i was standing in line until 6:45 and it didn't open, so i decided to go check out Carnage E Hall. Carnage E Hall: This maze scared the crap out of me. The Special Effects were really good, and the actors were really good. The must have spent a lot of time on this one, because it was unrecognizeable from the normal stage of the magic moments theater. Brutal Planet: Not so brutal. Its scares really didn't deliver for me. Though the group of girls that they sent me in with was screaming their heads off. I really liked the Ring scene though. that was awsome. At that point i had to leave the park because my ride was there. Overall, it was not that good of a day at the mountain. They really do need to get their stuff together, because that park is going more and more downhill everytime that i go.

i lmao at that. It was really funny. but from 1-9 pm just the last week of summer practice? thats nothing. our band director makes us practice from 8am to 5pm every day for the last two weeks of august. and then until 6 oclock at night every school day.

thats very poor operations at the mountain. we've been seeing that for a while now. on a busy day like that they should of at least been running 3 trains and 2 sides with 5 minute (at the most) dispaches

im performing at the Los Angles Coliseum tomorrow! its gonna be awsome!

Screamscape is reporting that the reason X is closed is because The Gearbox on the lift hill blew out and they have to order a new one from over seas and the park says that will take about a year. thats kinda funny seeings how it was manufactured in Utah, and it only took like two days for the original gear box to be shipped to sfmm.

I saw them perform Welcome to the Black Parade at the MTV video awards. i could of sworn that the singer was crying.

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in Disney Digital 3-D - This one was much better than i expected. It was basically just the original with better special effects, and i think that they extended a couple of songs and added a couple of small scenes that wern't in the original. 8.5/10 The Devil's Rejects - As a fan of House of 1000 corpses i have to say that this movie lived up to the first one's title as one of the most sick, twisted movies that has ever been made. There were only a few moments that made you jump, and a few that made even me say "ewww." But the way that the actors and actresses deliver the lines it just makes you laugh out loud. If you haven't The Devils Rejects or House of 1000 Corpses, than i suggest that you go out and rent them in time for halloween, and prepare yourself for a very entertaining double feature. 10/10

Flashback will never ever ever reopen. ever! They need to get their act together and get at least X running again. i'd rather have X than Orient Express and Circus Wheel.

"flashback-closed Freefall-closed Jet Stream-closed Ninja-closed Orient Express-testing (but closed Sierra Twist-closed Tidal Wave-closed X: still down they really need to get these rides up and running again. i personally hope that they sell this park to another amusement park company. because obviously six flags is more concerned with giving sharpio a raise instead of using the money to fix their park. but i will say this: if X is not fixed by the end of the season, then i consider six flags magic mountain to be dead.

the best tunnel on a ride that i've been through is the one on Revolution at SFMM. it gets pitch black in there for a couple of seconds, and they say that its haunted.

awsome TR. I dont think they're doing "bloodsaw falls" this year at magic mountain. Last time i went, all the water was drained out of the flume part and sections of it were missing.

sorry, cant go that day. i have a band compition on that day. but i am going tomorrow.
