  1. Unfortunately for Reithoffer shows, most of the stuff labeled on the tent for the freak show isn't true. But I went to the York fair two years ago, loved it. I'm going to The Frederick County Fair, that Reithoffer does tomorrow. So I'm excited, it never disappoints. Great TR, and thanks for sharing.
  2. Thats really weird, the four, or five times I went when Fahrenheit was operating. I've only seen two, I just assumed it was a spare, lol. I also only saw two when it was testing.
  3. I think Fahrenheit always runs two trains, I've never seen the third run. They don't seem to run the single rider line a lot. Some times they load it fine, other times they never use it, and just let people stand there not filling empty seats.
  4. When I go Trailblazer more times then not is running one train. But I'm not complaining, it isn't that bad. But after thinking about it, a lot of there rides were running one train, and thats why we only rode LR. Fahrenheit opened with one train for most of the day, Storm Runner later broke, and then started operating one train. Great Bear ran one train all day. I also think Wildcat had one train. So yeah it was an off day. We still had fun though.
  5. Thanks everyone! Yeah Hershey has been running one train a lot on things recently. But normally at most its one ride, but I suppose it could still be better.
  6. A few weeks ago Tyler, and I went to Hershey for the day. Since the place was packed from head to toe, we rode some of the rides we normally never do. Also got some neat pictures from places we haven't yet. Hope everyone enjoys them! Hello Great Bear, to bad you were running one train, with a huge line. But you still are loved. Um, can't think of a comment, oh yeah, pretty! Hello Sooperdooperlooper. But its still Great Bears time to shine, and it sure is shining! I <3 Great Bear. One last picture, then on to some other coasters. Hi there Comet, your still pretty good. I lied, theirs more. Great Bear is haunted, notice the spirit bulb in the corner. Pretty. This is the last one, I promise. Well hi there. Your not over hyped, to me at least. Umm, wha... Oh yeah, PRETTY! Intamin, equals gold. A little closer, ironically Closer by NeYo is playing. (I'm serious) Boardwalk, would be fun if you could actually ride some things without a two hour wait. But your worth it, but not today. It was relax time. Cobra Roll, yum. Wildcat, I truly like this coaster a whole lot. It's been a favorite of mine for years. Two really great coasters, oh and that Vekoma thing peeking up. At least Hershey has a smoother one! Now the two favorite pictures of the day before we end. Awesome picture number one. Awesome picture number two. Thanks everyone for reading, its really been an awesome summer. But the excitement isn't over! I can guarantee everyone at least 4-5 more reports from various parks. So again, thanks everyone. I wouldn't take the time to write all these if it wasn't for all you guys and girls, and the continuous support and posts. -Brandon
  7. Thanks guys. Year 10, Memorial Day Weekend. Well Memorial Day weekend has come around, and scream is now open. Also as promised, heres a year 10 download. Theres no more information on whats going to happen with the park being sold off, but there seems like it may get sold for around 300 million or something in that range. But thats if it does sell. Year 10 Download -Brandon
  8. Thanks everyone, and for all your nice comments. I'll post this little mini update before the main Weekend one coming. What do you guys think?
  9. A decade of Six Flags Epic Adventures! Wow, it's been already 10 years! Well, Six Flags wouldn't not do something big for there star park. So for the tenth year in operation, the park is adding two major attractions. One that will open when the park does, and another that may open a little later in the year. Lets start with the ride that will be opening today, along with the park. Superman Power of Tower, and Kryptonite Plummet. This four tower, S&S contraption will either launch you straight up with Superman's power. Or will shoot Superman down with Kryptonite Plummet. Now lets go to the biggest new attraction for the year, Scream! Scream!, will take you off through tunnels, and will be one heck of a ride. Oh did we mention, there will be no track below you! This ride is planned to open on Memorial Day Weekend if construction goes as planned. Now the news isn't over, Six Flags has decided to put the park up for sale. To hopefully almost bring them out of debt. Cedar Fair, and Paramounts apparently starting the Amusement Park game again. Those two industries have been offering some really high amounts. So we'll see if the park gets sold off. Some rumors are that the old owners are trying to get the park back, with an apparent contract break from Six Flags. So only time will tell what will happen. It's kind of weird that Six Flags just put in all these attractions just to sell it, but maybe it has something to do with getting out of the contract. Expect another update for Memorial Day weekend! -Brandon
  10. ^I agree, it's really one of my all time favorite water rides at any park, that I've been to so far. It's by far the best at the park. So it kind of was a little sad seeing what it looked like. I didn't even realize that it was leaving so soon, so it was shocking seeing giant rocks in the flume/track of the ride that used to be scenery. They're pretty much giving it the giant axe of death from the looks of it. -Brandon
  11. A few days ago with Tyler and his family. We went up to Hershey for the day and got some pictures and had fun. Some of these pictures are including the Removal of CRR. We'll come back to you later. Hi Tyler. Oh, and hi there. Hi place that I've never eaten at, and want to. I see you peaking up. Me: What you talkin about. Tyler: YAAAAY! Group picture: Me, Tyler, Tyler's mom, Tyler's Sister Pretty. One of the best pictures of storm runner ever! You just can't live up to the other one. An attempt to get a picture of the construction. Attempt number two. Hello there. Comet gets some love to. Duck! Underwater Duck! Pretty. Umm, can't go that way. Since we can't stop Hershey from taking out CRR, maybe environmentalists can. Oh, and hi there. I'm sorry Fahrenheit, I still love you. But 2009 is a coming! Don't hate meh! That doesn't look right. Kind of creepy looking. No CRR for us today, you shall be missed. No pretty for you! Was that always like that? It looks like it could still be ran. Nevermind. I had a tear coming down my face.... Look at Mr. Jealous peaking up. To bad all this is going to be concrete, and hardly any trees soon. I do like this picture though, I think it looks cool. You get some love now. Pretty. I sorry. But this is exciting. Are you sad to, or just annoyed that I keep taking pictures? Ok, you were way more exciting going up then CRR. So its ok. To bad its a little blurry. Back to SR. Shwooosh. Don't go to the light! I leave you with a night shot of Wildcat. We all had a fun day, and Fahrenheit I think is getting over it. I think these captions were some of the dumbest so far! -Brandon
  12. Thanks, actually I just got back from Hershey yesterday. I still have about 5 alone left for this trip, and 3 after that. So expect plenty.
  13. Thanks guys! I'd like to apologize real quick for the extreme lack of updates. I've been busy with family issues, and website time has been short. Hope you all understand. At the last minute we added Holiday to the trip, since we figured out it was only an hour or two from where we were staying. It's been a place that we've been wanting to go to for years. I've heard so many good things, and well the Voyage itself was a good enough reason. It was worth it to take the extra time to stop off there. The park was clean, free sodas, and so decent woodies. It wasn't the best park of the trip, but it was a pleasant park. With a good selection of rides. We found it interesting that it goes from Christmas/Thanksgiving, to Halloween. Big difference of the two, haha. Anyways, heres the report, hope you all enjoy. Hi Holiday World. Oh and hi Raven. Since your the first coaster we've seen so far, lets see why you won those golden tickets. Looks pretty good. Oh and notice the free lockers, genius. But those expressions sum it up. It's an ok coaster, but we expected more. Still the wooded area makes it different, to bad we left before dark. Since we were all tired. Doesn't look like we will be riding this yet. We'll check back soon. Lets start heading to the real reason we came! Yeah its going to be awesome. Much rougher then expect. The ride though was insane, long, wicked, and well can't say much more. I think of it as the wooden, well Hybrid version of MF. Don't know why, but staring at the lift, and first drop reminded me of it. Now back to Legend, which OPENED! This ride was great, I've heard bad things. But we thought it was great, very fun ride. Same shot, further away. Pretty. The howling was a nice touch. Tunnel. Hi there. Um, hi again. Yay. Would have been better without the railing. Just had to go and get this picture. After we left, we decided to check out the museum. Legend. Voyage. I leave you with this model thing. Thanks everyone for reading, also thank you Holiday World for providing a great day! -Brandon
  14. Thanks everyone, I think the seats say arms down, blah, blah. Not quite sure exactly, I've read it a million times but don't remember exactly what it says. I think I'm going next week, since I have a doctors appointment in Hershey, and we're going to stop off at the park for a little.
  15. Can't wait for the update, the park is looking great. I like everything about it so far, great work!
  16. You should be able to ride all the coasters. We went on a Wednesday, and it was raining for half the day. So the park was completely empty. Normally on a Wednesday it shouldn't be any longer then 20-40 minutes for any of the rides.
  17. Thanks guys, I'm glad you liked the pictures. We all had a good time. Oh and maybe I will see you, I go pretty regularly, but I normally need a date to go. I only go if I have someone to go with, its boring by yourself, so send me a pm if you'd like later on when your going.
  18. Well I don't expect them to know, most of this was filmed with selected people before the parks opened anyways. When its from the experts, its a little annoying. I just thought that quote was funny from the kid, thats all. Your right though, its just little things. Also isn't Steel Hawg the steepest drop, or are people still considering that a inversion.
  19. Favorite quote so far, "when you go up on that thingy", for Fahrenheit, lol. Also did you notice he called the Norwegian Loop a barrel roll, the Hershey employee. I've notice a bunch of inaccurate stuff on the show, even from the background voice guy.
  20. Photo Trip Report: As we waited for Great Bear, I got this picture of Coal Cracker. Turned out looking pretty neat. After Great Bear, we went to ride the Antique Cars. I think this is the first time I've ridden them. Oh and the only group shot of the report, and the only shot of me. (Which I look really ugly in) First picture I got yelled at for taking of the day! It was so worth it though. (Yelled at by Tyler for being a nerd, since I have fifty billion pictures of this park anyways. But didn't have this one!) Tyler Approved. Monorails are Tyler Approved also! Hi Storm Runner. We were going to ride this, but everything closed due to storms. So we went around the park, as they called me a GPS. So I showed them some back routes, well showed them to Daniel at least. Tyler just didn't care and made fun of me, lol. Showed them the kind of back routes behind CRR. You shall be missed, by me at least. After that fun adventure, we saw Fahrenheit testing. So I took a couple of pictures, as they yelled at me. Yay, it opened! Can anyone find the train? Nerd Shots! Cool looking nerd shot. Now time for Storm Runner, at least we thought. Daniel broke it, along with Tyler's arm. Well I guess made it storm, either way its there fault. So I got nerd shots. Wheels, and stuff. Car. Sign of Quality. Um, don't ask. But I think this is the first time I've been in storm runner's station empty. Severe storms were outside, and everything was closed. So we decided to stay dry, it paid off to. Since it was empty, I thought it would be cool to get a few pictures of the train. No, Don't Go Down There!!! Well it opened, but the mechanic was never seen again. Hi Sidewinder, your closed to. Next we went to Comet, and got this picture. But quickly migrated back to Fahrenheit. Pretty. I think I already got this one, but its just as awesome. Nerd shot, as I took an un expected picture of both of them. It cleared up, so we got some really cool pictures of Wildcat. (Daniel takes part credit for this one. He insisted that I needed to take it. ) But this one was all me. Now time for a couple last shots of Fahrenheit. Which I didn't get yelled at for taking, they just kept walking past me. Again worth it. I leave you with this picture, I think it might be my all time favorite picture. We all had a great day, and it was cool meeting up with Daniel. One of the best times we've had at Hershey in awhile. Possibly the best. It was a ton of fun, and thanks for reading everyone. -Brandon
  21. It looks great, it has a great atmosphere, even if its just a game. I really look into that when I look a RCT parks. Great job, keep it up.
  22. Beech Bend Park! After Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, we decided we'd go to Beech Bend Park for a couple of hours. For some credits, and so forth. Tyler and me, thought Beech Bend was a fun little park, with one awesome woodie. Not the greatest park, but got to experience some cool flats, and one messed up haunted house. Kentucky Rumbler was awesome. It was fun and long, pretty smooth and not the most forceful ride. But it had surprises behind each corner, and the layout was very enjoyable. I'd have to say if you have a free day, you should head to Beech Bend. Its a fun little park, it was clean, and all the rides were very well kept for. Which is something we look for at the smaller parks. So I'd say we all had a good time. Now onto the pictures. Tyler loves go karts, I find them kind of fun. He wanted to get the big car, since he thought it went faster. So I just rode with him as I didn't have that much desire to drive. They were pretty slow also. We always seem Next up, Power Surge. Basic flat ride, nothing real special about these. Notice how empty the park was, we were the only ones riding. Now time for, Kentucky Rumbler! Yep, its a sign. This ride is really cool, and fun. Um, notice only one person in that train! They were only running one train as it is, so there was no need for two. One last picture. It's a great ride. Aw, Missed credit number 3. 5 if you count the rotting woodie at the back of SFKK. Oh well, I've heard its painful. I've also heard its a Piece of Cr*p. But still a missed credit, none the less. Oh but I could whore! There's me at the back, it had some good forces for a kiddie credit. Tyler was fed up with me wanting to ride kiddie coasters. After paying 12 dollars to ride Speedway Drift, he was done with them. So he just watched me look stupid. This little thing packed one great punch. It was a great drop ride, we rode it about 6 times in a row. I've always wanted to ride one of these. It was fun, pretty forceful, but nothing special. At least I finally got to try one. Now time for the last credit. The Wild Mouse. It spun quite a bit, after the one at DelGrossos not to long ago, this one kicked bu*t. The second half of the ride was great. Messed up mice, as always. One last picture before we head out to the Corvette Museum. Thanks Beech Bend for a good couple of hours, wait free! After the next two parks, we still have a bunch of side trips for you! -Brandon
  23. ^That was a april fools joke, lol. It's still there, and running as great as ever. The park has it shut down for a few weeks for a paint job, to tell the truth. The next update I hope to have more info on the dark knight, also on the Fury. I'm kind of happy with the poll results, I voted a four becuase I have seen a lot better, so 4 votes for 4, and 5 for 5. Thats not to bad, I'm glad everyone likes it. It makes me want to continue it, since people like it. I've thought about dropping it a few times, but I'm going to keep it as my improve it as I go. From when I've started this park, to now, I've gotten better. So I plan on retouching old areas, and doing improvements. Once the land is all take up, I'm thinking of making the story line more interesting. Take out rides, to put new ones in, like real parks. I've been considering in some way, make a parking garage and enhance the whole entrance area. To make it more amazing then the plain one now. Some areas may have to be knocked down, or the entrance moved, and make that one a back one. Since its smacked on the Egyptian area. Maybe I should make one more traditional, instead of making it seem like a one themed park, when its clearly not. What are your guys thoughts on this? -Brandon
  24. Um, why is the poll acting weird. It won't let me add number one, which would be worst park ever. It also added the same thing like 4 times!?
  25. ^Thank you. Yeah, I know its been awhile. I've done tons with the park, but just been slacking on the updates. Well anyways I've added tons of attractions, but you'll just have to wait and see what. Since it has to be in the story line. I'm adding a poll, I want to know what you think of my park so far. Update time! Year nine! Year nine is here, and Devil man is ready to go. After some retracking at some points of the ride, its ready. There were some spots hat had some problems, but the park worked them out. Year ten is next up, and the park is celebrating 10 years. They're saying its going to be one of the biggest additions since the park opened. At the same time though, Six Flags is having some contract issues, and the old park owners are fighting to have it back. Apparently Six Flags didn't do some things that were promised. The news keeps getting worse. The Dark Knight is apparently having some troubles with testing, its buildings are finished, and the ride itself is. But there are some mechanical problems with it, hopefully it'll open later this year or next year. It just looks like one big box though, with little theming, but the inside is supposed to be amazing. Here's pictures of Devil Man. Hope you enjoyed year nines update. Wonder what could possibly be next? -Brandon
