  1. No. One that goes around a mini loop would be nice though. Maybe also a version that travels back and forth around a few heartline rolls! Are there any Disney parks you haven't visited?
  2. No. Ever gone for a run in the rain?
  3. No and never will. I'm straight. Have you ever competed in a championship?
  4. Yes! I love doing that!! Can never help myself. We better have a race during the Tokyo trip, Lydia! Have you ever been on a coaster during a rollback or had it stop mid-ride?
  5. I have an ASUS VW 222U LCD screen. For some reason, the built-in Volume setting screen keeps coming up from time to time. It usually goes away after a few seconds. Any clues on how I can fix this? It's really annoying.
  6. No Do you do/have you ever done gymnastics? (Yep! Good source of non-coaster airtime )
  7. ^ True although they're more rooted in archaeology than aliens. That said, I don't think the ending is anywhere near as bad as people are making it out to be. Today I'm going to watch an old favourite -- Cabaret. Set in pre-war Germany, the movie version starred a pre-tragic Liza Minnelli as a nightclub singer. I'll be seeing a live production of it in 2 weeks in London which will be great (apparently there are considerable differences).
  8. Yes. Left Marco Polo for dead Do you play any online RPGs?
  9. Yes. And random trivia: my favourite breakfast place is actually called 'Bumbles' [and has a little bit of bee theming]. Have you ever watched a medical drama from a hospital bed?
  10. No. I'd love to but live at the Australian equivalent though. Are you talented at any sports (and if so which ones)?
  11. ^ I think this movie will do well commercially because it doesn't just rely on die-hard fans who will see it anyway but people curious to see their first Indy movie. So I think a 5th one will definitely happen. EDIT: Indeed it is doing great at the box office. Apparently the movie has had the biggest opening ever for both Spielberg & Paramount - a worldwide gross of $311.1 million. SPOILERS!!!! They've said that Indy could always fulfill the role Sean Connery served as the father figure to Mutt. So he'd still be a big part of the movie but not doing absolutely everything. I take the bit with the hat though to show that, yes, we would get another movie with Indy wincing his way through every bone-hammering fall, punch and explosion but CGI would just play a bigger part than physical stuntwork if necessary. END OF SPOILERS!!!! I bought the Burger King toys off eBay, one has arrived already & it's quite good quality. Disappointingly the Australian BK equivalent Hungry Jacks aren't doing a promotion. For future movies, I'd love to see a movie set in the Orient and am also sure they'd take him to Russia at some point. Seems logical given they had him in Germany rubbing shoulders with Hitler in Last Crusade.
  12. No - not even slightly. Have you ever visited somewhere really scary?
  13. ^ (Really, where to?) Nope. I probably would have been too busy falling of the bike. Have you ever rescued someone or been rescued?
  14. Myself, I'm a guy who likes girls. ^ Terrance, shouldn't you also mention your sexual attraction to statues?
  15. No. Sometimes I just don't feel like small talk because usually I'm with other people anyway. Are you catching a plane anytime soon to go someplace?
  16. ^ The ending in The Others didn't have as much impact but the movie still managed to pull it off without seeming like a ripoff. Ironman could have been better but I was pleasantly surprised. My expectations weren't that high to begin with though.
  17. EPIC makeover. Can't wait to do it next year! The new team at SFMM is doing a brilliant job, another great event by the looks of it.
  18. PS I Love You was fantastic, it had a lot of charm & loved those scenes in the Irish countryside. Definitely want to read the original novel. I have 3 of the movie's songs in my iTunes library too - Fairytale of New York (Pogues), Galway Girl (Mundy) and 'Lloyd, I'm Ready To Be Heart-Broken' (Camera Obscura, awesome band). Recommended... songs 8, movie 8.5
  19. Everyone else has managed to put a spoiler warning down though. Doesn't take much trouble. I'm not flaming you, I just think it's something you should add. *SPOILER* Anyway, who'd expect the film to have an ending like that? Even when you take the opening scene into account, sometimes things are put in as red herrings & this is Indiana Jones we're talking about, not Close Encounters of the Third Kind 2: The Aliens Strike Back! *END SPOILERS* Marion also needed a bigger part and I wish they'd kept the original concept of having Willie Scott, Sallah and Short Round at the end.
  20. Hahaha, can't believe I missed out on that. Just as well there weren't any overhanging tree branches!!
  21. Given the subject matter of the previous films, I think an ending like Kingdom had was inevitable sooner or later in the series. While I don't think it is the BEST they could have come up with, I'm not writing the film off because of it. And I'm still more pumped than ever to do Indiana Jones at DLP come July! And from what I hear, MOST of the stunts were real, weren't they? *shrug* Considering the hype and time since the last one, I don't think it's possible for EVERYONE to be 100% happy with the new film but most people seem to really like it on the whole. I'll wait until I've seen it a few more times before deciding quite where to rank it but find it's good for a Saturday matinee-style popcorn flick which is all Spielberg has ever wanted Indy to be.
  22. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull LOVED it. Spielberg has done a good job bringing Indy into the world of the 50s. While the plot isn't quite as elegantly explained as, say, Raiders or Crusade, the film still retains the Saturday matinee feel of the first 3 movies. A certain twist is perhaps a little too predictable, the end twist perhaps out of place depending on the personal interpretation you walk away with & some scenes stretch credibility a little far even for an Indiana Jones flick. The film would have been better had it incorporated Sean Connery's character but having Marion made up for it quite well. Some nice fan service (particularly one particular sequence witnessed in the trailer) and one particular line Indy delivered referencing another franchise was a hoot. Definitely leaves things open for another film & if they can find some more archaeological treasures to go after then all the better. What happens in the very final scene could lead directly into going off for the next adventure! I also really like the Mutt character so could stand to see him in another movie or two. Had the benefit of seeing the movie in a Gold Class cinema (luxury recliners, drinks and food discreetly and quietly brought at the stage of the movie you like) with friends (birthday present to me) & it was an awesome environment. And Cate Blanchett was a pretty good Russian. Her accent though...well, put it this way. Something had to make all those Nazi ones look good!!! 9/10
  23. ^ "Eyesore" is the expression. Yeah, even just to ride for the concept would be good. Oh well, wasn't to be.
  24. Nooooo!!! We Europe trip-goers will just have to get extra thrills where we can that day. Maybe do the ropes course without a harness??
  25. Excellent TR. Can't wait to visit DLP for the first time on the Europe trip but your comprehensive coverage and great shots make the waiting easier...
