  8. Jetstar have started a photo comp, which I have entered two photos ( taken during my Japan Trip earlier this year ) and I was hoping that my fellow TPR Members might help me out and vote. So I can win a $5000 dollar Jetstar travel voucher. I need to ride more coasters in Japan and America! please follow these links http://www.jetstarphotocomp.com/?show_photo=e76bc6f4-20eb-46fa-9218-9c0d01231dda#/gallery/?id=e76bc6f4-20eb-46fa-9218-9c0d01231dda http://www.jetstarphotocomp.com/?show_photo=3cd72e06-fed8-4518-a940-9c0d0111f636#/gallery/?id=3cd72e06-fed8-4518-a940-9c0d0111f636 Ross ( Robb if this is in the wrong place, please move.. ) Tokyo Disneysea Ice Munch
  9. I would stay away on Weekends, Disneyland has been packed the last few weeks due to the soft opening of Monsters Inc... I know the week of the 31 march, Monsters had a wait time of over 200 minutes! Get there early, get fast passes for Monster, hit Poohs Hunny Hunt, just remember once the fast pass window has gone, they will not let you use them past the return time. I was there during Feb and it was mostly 60-90 minute waits. Disneysea on the other hand, I was able to do nearly everything in a four hour time frame on a Wednesday night.
  10. The Togo ones work differently than the Arrow ones, yes? It would seem by the video that the arrow train spins independently, while the Togo trains do not... I hope that makes sense.
  11. Did arrow ever put a pipeline coaster in a park? The Top at Coney island looks insane!
  12. I always thought lunch at 33 was part of the membership that people payed? Thats not right is it? Great trip report guys..
  13. Well not in Australia since CO only fly out of Cairns, and KLM fly out of the southern airports, with no codeshare among them.
  14. Ordered the first two and will gett he next two next week, Robb keep them coming, no matter what the price is.
  15. It's being replaced with Philharmagic. Not sure when it closes, but it should be any day now. --Robb It had not opened when I was there in Feb, they where getting ready to open the new Monster's Inc ride, which should have just gone into soft opening. As for Hotels I stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay for three nights and payed $160 Australian per night, booked six months out, found the lowest price online and than rang Hilton bookings and asked if they could beat it. Three day Disney pass was around $200.00 Australian As for souvenirs, apart from a couple of online photos, everything thing else was based around the 25th anniversary and not worth buying.
  16. The monkeys just ignored everyone around them, if you sat on one of the non snow covered rocks they would come up and sit right beside you. Was more than worth the ten hour return trip, and when I arrived back in Tokyo that night, spent from 6.00pm to 10.00pm in Tokyo Disney Sea and managed to do nearly all the major rides that night. Downunder, Mate went by myself. Tokyo Disney Sea photos to come...
  17. Wednesday 11th Feb. Left the hotel at 5.00am to go to Jigokudani Yaenkoen ( Hells Pass ) to see the Snow Monkeys. Caught the Shinkansen ( Bullett Train ) from Tokyo Station to Nagano and then transfered to a local train to Yudanaka station. The hotel had booked me on the Snow Monkey Mini Bus from Yudanaka station, after a very scary 15 minute drive up an ice covered mountain road, arrived at Monkey Park. This was an amazing day, well worth the 5 hours it took to get there. An Ice user!!! What I came to see The Onsen next to the Park Nearly There Lining the side of the ice covered road up to the Monkey Park, after the way the 90 year old drove, this might have been a safer place to be! The first time I have ever seen snow Map of the Park Tokyo to Nagano in under 90 minutes
  18. More Tokyo Disneyland Night Time Parade ( Which I saw back in 1988 at Disneyland CA )
  19. Will post more tonite on Disneyland, Disneysea and the Snow Monkeys at Hell's Pass
  20. After fifteen long years, it was time to head back to a Disney Park, so for my 41st Birthday it was time to go to Japan. Monday 9th Feb: after a seven hour flight from Cairns, arrived at Narita Airport, caught the NEX Train into Tokyo and headed out to the Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel. Tuesday 10th Feb, Happy Birthday to Me Tokyo Disneyland Photos in no order what so ever. Is this bigger than it should be? There was a mad run from this ride, and after riding it, I would sell a child to be able to ride it again A single joy Something Big and Blue Flying Elphants, Dayglo Elephants, there's something in Disneys water Looking torwards Thunder Mountain, Ten minutes after the park opened at 9.00am What to do when a arse fills your doorway The room fills with the smell of Honey Someone was on something The Most Magical, Awesome Ride Ever Swiss Family Themeing The park opened at 8.00am for Hotel guests, this was ten minutes beforehand By the time it ended, Jumping seemed like the right thing to do This ride is HELL, HELL I tell you. Later that night at a Gay Bar in Tokyo, I saw a man in a the same outfit!! Seconds later it ended in a bloody battle.
  21. Thanks for that, I was not sure if it was just the way they did it at Tokyo or if it was at all Disney Parks. Has it made the lines move quicker or just slowed everything down? ( you answered while I was posting )
  22. I did a search for these answers and came up with nothing. Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times before. I just came back from Tokyo Disney Resort, and this was my first time in a Disney park in fifteen years. I have a couple of question about Fast Pass. Do all Disney parks that have Fast Pass, now only have a Standy By Line and the Fast Pass Line only? I always thought that a Stand By Line, was a different line than the normal entry. As in there would be a normal line, fast pass and than a standby line. While I used Fast Pass as often as I could, I found the whole thing just slowed the process down.
  23. Big Thunder Mountain: About ten minutes after opening 10th Feb 2009.. Since this was my first time in a Disney park in fifteen years, Tokyo Disney Resort was amazing.
