  1. La Ronde gets really crowded on weekends, not thursdays. Also you do not need the flash pass if you wanna ride all the coasters and thrill rides. Here's my plan. Get to the park 30 minutes before opening if you dont have a season pass and wait in line. Once the park opens, get in and take a left and run towards Cobra. Ride it. Get off and go to Vampire which is pretty much next to it. I find that all the seats are the same, so dont bother waiting for the front. After Vampire run to the other side of the park and ride the monster Track 1, back row. It should have a 15-20 minute wait by now. After Monster ride the Super Manege/Manitou/Boomerang. Those 3 rides take the most time to load. After all this head to the Goliath. It always has 2 trains running and no matter the lineup you wont wait more then half an hour. Definately and I mean definately sit in the last row. Major difference over any other rows. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!
  2. Uhh... Boomerang? More like the Comet! Comet is such a good ride. And most nights it has little to no line.. And they let you reride.. So you can sit in a seat from around 7pm till 10 and just lap it. Seeing their coaster collection: Mine train 64 feet Bobsled Boomerang Dark Ride Arrow Corskcrew Comet How good are each of those coasters?
  3. I'm thinking about hitting The Great Escape. Is it really that good of a park since its best coaster is a Boomerang?
  4. Ok right after you finish riding goliath go towards the left side. Walk straight then go down and you'll see it. It usually used to have a lot of lines but with Goliath there it has much less then past years. Tobogan Nordique will have a crazy line. Also make sure you ride Goliath either in the front or back (preferably back). I'm telling you it makes a crazy difference!
  5. The reason I advised him to go to Monster first is they usually never run all 4 trains which takes a ridiculously long amount of time unlike Goliath who has two trains running every day although the dispatch times vary by staff.
  6. Go on a tuesday/wednesday. Make sure to check out 2 awesome flat rides Manitou and Vertigo. Also theres Vampire, a BTR Clone that is worth a ride. IMO Still the best ride in the park. If you wanna ride all the coasters in the least amount of time follow this plan. Get there at opening. From the entrance turn right and head straight to Monster. Ride Track 1 back row. As you get off head straight towards Goliath and ride it back row. I feel it is the best seat. Come back and ride the boomerang. Next to it is the corkscrew called Super Manege. Ride that in the back seat also. Ride Manintou which is between SM and Boomerang. Then go back to the entrance and head towards the vampire. Best seat is definately the front. Next to it is Vertigo. Ride it. Then go to the stand up coaster Cobra which is next to vampire. Ride that and you're done! Just felt like helping you out, if you have any more questions feel free to ask!
  7. You do know that that is illegal right. That is considered assault and if she filed a lawsuit against you you would be in big trouble.
  8. Was Ka open? I'm heading there in 3 weeks I would like to know if its running regularly in the past couple weeks? By the way nice tr.
  9. Gee thanks that's really helpful.
  10. Are you guys positive about this? I'd really hate if I went and they didnt let me through.
  11. Am I required to have passports with me while traveling to the USA by car?
  12. Boomerang Viper (SFGADV) Manhattan Express (Las Vegas) Nitro (SFGADV)
  13. Wasn't Viper removed from the park?
  14. Parks: 1 (La Ronde) 7 Trips Coasters: Monster: 14 Goliath: 8 Vampire: 3 Boomerang: 3 Super Manege: 3 Cobra: 2 What about you? Also what was the most number of rides you got on a single coaster in a single year?
  15. Hey Rob... let me tell you this site is just awesome! I was wondering.. have you ever been to Six Flags La Ronde? If not are you ever planing on visiting? Also excuse me if this has been asked but what's the exact number of coasters you've ridden in your life?
  16. Great news! Was at la ronde today and they finally opened the super manege at 8 pm for the first time this season after testing with dummies!!
  17. Here's a link. Goliath is in fact on there at the top. http://laronde.com/gallerie/laronde/pdf/carte2006.pdf
  18. Thanks! Hopefully we'll finish up the TR we have going one of these days Do you know why it's broken? In a way I'm glad I don't have to ride another corkscrew, but I also want the credit Aparently its closed for the whole year for some reason. I think a piece of the motor is broken or something. Sounds kinda fishy to me.
  19. I can only comment on what rides to hit at La Ronde since its the only canadian park I've been to. Manitou is an awesome flat ride, you can not miss that. Vertigo is another thrilling experience, be sure to ride it but just to let you know the loading/dispatch times take sooo long. Each ride takes up to 7 minutes! Bateau pirate is an old bucanneer type of ride like the one at SFGADV. Pretty boring. Tornado is rough as the restraints are very uncomfortable but it's always a walk on and since its right next to Cobra (the standup) you might want to try it on your way. Orbite is a pretty good freefall ride but usually its veryy packed. Not something I recomment if theres a long lineup. For the roller coasters: Vampire usually has the most lines of any coaster, including goliath and monster. I can't say they run both trains every day but its not like they never run both trains either. It really depends on the lineup. For the monster, try track 2. Track 2 has some airtime unlike track 1. Usually in August they run all 4 trains. Cobra and the vekoma corkscrew called Super Manege NEVER have both trains running. Super Manege is broken this year anyway. Also Goliath has both trains running every time but the dispatch times vary from day to day. It is a good ride but only in the front. Any seat but the front sucks (yes the back sucks!). If you have any more questions just let me know!
