  1. Tickets: Bought! I think my wife is almost more excited about going than I am!
  2. It wasn't open on Saturday. They had the water running on the final lift/drop, which got my hopes up, but the rest of the flume was empty and closed. It's been a while since I've been on #1.
  3. hmmm...I'm more of a reader than a poster here at TPR, but being only 2 hours from the park, I may have to make this my first TPR event.
  4. I go to area used car dealerships and take pictures of their cars for the dealer websites and put the window stickers on the cars that tell about the car and the warranty. I make a generous salary, plus commission for the cars I do, plus mileage and paid benefits. I work 15-20 hours in a normal week. I love my job!
  5. I love the Daylight. My dad bought me an HO scale 4449 in its Freedom Train colors for my birthday last year.
  6. Of my limited Vekoma experience, my vote would have to go to the Ferris Wheel at Chicago's Navy Pier.
  7. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. Depends on my mood. Neither me nor any of my vehicles live at their registered address anyhow. The truck has had TONS of online exposure over the years. Whether it be from pictures I've posted, or online show coverage to online magazine features or just pics that others have taken of it and posted. It's not something I've ever really worried about.
  8. Actually, the 6.0L in the '04 and '05 GTO is the LS2. The '04 GTO with the 5.7L is the LS1. But, yeah, those are some hideous rims. I'd rather have one with the factory 18s.
  9. My daily driver; 2000 Chevrolet Impala LS: My "around town" car; 2004 Cadillac CTS: My toy; 1991 GMC Sierra:
  10. Well, like I said, it was my very first attempt with NoLimits and I threw it all together in an hour or so. The end helix is a bit big, but I did that before I really had a good judge of the size of things on the grid and all that. Thanks.
  11. I've only had the program for a couple weeks now. I haven't had a whole lot of time to mess with it. I've built 4 coasters. The third one I built was an unsuccessful Euro Fighter. I've been basically just playing with the wood coasters because I'm not ready to delve into building all the supports just yet. Let me know what you think. I may post up my other 2 successful projects. 1badgmc1wood.nltrack
  12. I was at SFStL on July 11. Got to the park around 3pm and EK was my first ride, but I don't really recall the squealing then. Got in another ride a couple hours later. There was a rain shower a couple hours before closing. I went back for a final ride on EK before leaving for the night and had to wait for them to re-open the ride because some dillweed decided to jump the fence for a hat. Someone didn't hear about the SFOG incident the week before I guess. Anyhow, on my final ride, it was squealing pretty badly. A little rough on the ears, but it was worth it for one more ride on EK.
