  1. Just bought the album and I'm half way through now and it's freaking awesome. ----Hans
  2. Sum 41 - Fat lip
  3. It was a very interesting Belgian GP with a controversial end. Raikkonen was leading Hamilton with just two laps to go when it starts to rain. Hamilton was much quicker and he tried to overtake Kimi in the last chicane but they touched and Hamilton had to cut the chicane and took the lead. (Starts on the 50th second of the video) The basic rule is when you cut the track and gain a position you must give it back. That was exactly what Hamilton did and overtook Kimi on the next corner. The stewards decided after the race that he didn't do it on the right way and gave him a penalty of 25 seconds. I found it a weird decision and I think they are just helping Ferrari. Anyway it was a great race but sometimes I think that it is forbidden to overtake. SpeedTV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74TZngbIS9I
  4. First practice session of the Belgian GP. Looks like the Ferrari drivers are very fast. Massa is determined to score a good result here to keep his title chances alive. 2008 FORMULA 1 ING BELGIAN GRAND PRIXPos No Driver Team Time/Retired Gap Laps 1 2 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:47.284 26 2 1 Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari 1:47.623 0.339 26 3 22 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 1:47.878 0.594 27 4 23 Heikki Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes 1:47.932 0.648 24 5 5 Fernando Alonso Renault 1:48.104 0.820 26 6 10 Mark Webber Red Bull-Renault 1:48.428 1.144 29 7 14 Sebastien Bourdais STR-Ferrari 1:48.557 1.273 31 8 15 Sebastian Vettel STR-Ferrari 1:48.958 1.674 24 9 12 Timo Glock Toyota 1:48.997 1.713 26 10 6 Nelsinho Piquet Renault 1:49.068 1.784 25 11 4 Robert Kubica BMW Sauber 1:49.139 1.855 25 12 3 Nick Heidfeld BMW Sauber 1:49.185 1.901 26 13 7 Nico Rosberg Williams-Toyota 1:49.611 2.327 30 14 11 Jarno Trulli Toyota 1:49.625 2.341 14 15 9 David Coulthard Red Bull-Renault 1:49.849 2.565 18 16 21 Giancarlo Fisichella Force India-Ferrari 1:49.986 2.702 27 17 20 Adrian Sutil Force India-Ferrari 1:50.117 2.833 19 18 8 Kazuki Nakajima Williams-Toyota 1:50.125 2.841 30 19 16 Jenson Button Honda 1:50.464 3.180 25 20 17 Rubens Barrichello Honda 1:50.905 3.621 25
  5. Looks like an amazing park. Was that "custom" SLC any good or was it just as bad as a normal SLC. ----Hans
  6. Damn I saw this one comming. Anyhow Thank you Mike for this great game. ---Hans
  7. ^ Thank you for correcting me. I was not sure I was right anyway but I couldn't find on the internet. I've edited my comment.
  8. I guessed 10 but I'm not sure if that is the final answer for round two. I highly doubt if there is a ducky in picture # 7. So that means Patrick should be happy. ----Hans
  9. Welcom to the forum. Great pictures so far from the city of Barcelona. I was there two years ago and it was a real blast. Have you been to a match of FC Barcelona? Can't wait to see your Port Aventura pictures. ----Hans
  10. 11/20 But hey I've never been there.
  11. Next weekend is the Belgian GP. It's one of the most challenging circuits in the world. The corner that made this circuit famous is Eau Rouge. In F1 this corner can be taken flat out but not always with a happy ending. See next video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q56wnSaJ4ZY
  12. 808 state - Pacific
  13. Just book a trip with TPR.
  14. ^ Yeah the theming is amazing but the park is lots smaller than an Universal or Disney park. There is not a single spot in the park that is not used by a ride or a show. I was in Dominion last may but we skipped the Crypt. ---Hans
  15. It was a year since my last visit to Phantasialand and not a lot has changed since than. They put in a new Heege Tower and the newly hotel Matamba opened on august 23. Hotel Matamba was just amazing. It's been build right next to Black Mamba and from the rooms you must have a beautiful view on the Deep in Africa Area. We went straight for Black Mamba on arrival but I'm not sure if that is a clever thing to do. The line for front row was already 60 minutes according to the signs but it turned out to be 30 minutes. I believe there is a tendency that the line at Black Mamba is getting smaller in the afternoon but they did an one train operation all day so the line for front row wasn't getting smaller. They put on the 2nd train at 11 but there was only one train running when we got back around 2. Black Mamba didn't give me that kick like it did on it's opening year but hey, maybe I did some coasters on our USA tour that where way better. On to the pics..... Sorry were closed. New for 2008. Nicely landscaped. Maybe Phantasialand could invest in some better kiddie rides. Kill the dragon. ^ How back dated. Swallow. Park overview through Drool mountain. Yeah were sad and pathetic. POV shot. Let's go to the last crappy darkride: Drool mountain. Another old and crappy darkride. Der Geister Rikscha. Oh thought I took some pics inside but I can't find them anymore. They will get soaked. I never seen anyone getting dry out of this one. sixty feet up. See. There is a rapids ride inside. Phantasialand Jet. Hotel Ling Bao was deperate for some attention too. Why am I sitting here for minimum wage. No it was not this coaster. He just turned 50. Moneyshot of the century. Upside down. But Talocan was OK. I survived and I didn't feel sick afterwards. I skipped it last year cause I don't really like them. I finally got on it. Talocan. New for 2007. This is the only picture I took from Temple of the night hawk cause I wasn't allowed to take any pictures inside. I didn't know that until I was asked to stop. This is the Brandenburger Tor (not Der Reichstag) which originally can be found in Berlin. Oh there are more people inside. Caption anyone? Well only some old stuff. What's inside room #1. Inside Mystery castle you can find some weird theming. Silver Dollar City.... Up to Mystery Castle. Is there a woman living in that bag? They are big fun with all the special effects and stuff. Home of two Maurer Sohne spinning coasters. Up to Wuze town. Maybe they should replace it for something bigger and better. We had so much fun on the silber mine. Don't know what to think of those rides. Phantasialand has also a huge selection of old darkrides. First one we hit was the Silbermine. Zero G with the Hotel Matamba. Something is missing. Wing over #1 Going through the Immelman Jr. ^ Favorite element. It was a great addition to the Deep in Africa theming. Hotel Matamba. Loop with the Hotel Matamba in the Back. For the lifthill fanatics. The first drop was fun on the first row but it was amazing on the last row. Space theming. This is the best I could get. It's very hard to get a decent picture in here. Queue line theming Waiting for front row on Black Mamba. We didn't use the quick pass today. Alt Berlin. This park very well themed. Mmmm Phantasialand.
  16. Volbeat - I only wanna be with you
  17. So now you told everybody about that shortcut. I use it also all the times and I always seem to be the only one. Great pictures thanks for sharing. ---Hans
  18. Funfair in Wervershoof is very small compared to the one in Hoorn but in Wervershoof it's all about fun and beer - a lot of beer. I took the pictures around 2-3 pm so it isn't very busy yet cause everybody is still tired from the night before. I didn't want to risk my cam so I have no night pictures but the last three pictures that I will post are from www.wervershovers.nl. So if you want to see more crazy pictures check that site. The funfair is divided in two areas. The first area is at the local mall and the second area is near the church. Well it's approx. a 5 minute walk to go from the first to the second area. Pictures...... They were all watching this crazy band. (taken from www.wervershovers.nl) Same place later that afternoon (taken from www.wervershovers.nl) Bar #3 (taken from www.wervershovers.nl) And my last picture. ^ Bouncy Bouncy. Skeeball. There is so much airtime on this ride. Just great. Craziness. There was a group that were all dressed up in dusters. And they were already drunk. Bumpercars On the way to the second area you pass many parties. ^ Fun house. ^ Casino time. Random. The sad Popcorn car. But it's more fun. No it's not as big as Hoorn. Bar #2 And they are off. 3,2,1 I've spent too much money here. Carousel. Mini cars. Kiddie ride. Candy store. It's still quiet at the bar. Amazing!! But he did. I never managed. I always try to get upside down. Himalya kind of ride. I never play those games cause Bumba is way too big to get. Arcade game She is having fun. Chairswing
  19. I had to look up for that word but yes it is nauseating especially that last part of the ride. I've been on it one time and I will never do it again.
  20. No not this year but there was a kart track last year. ---Hans
  21. Great Tripreport Beeja. I'm planning to go next year when they got their new coaster installed. ---Hans
  22. That kiddie coaster was not powered. Maybe you can make a Tripreport of the fair at Leuven. ---Hans
  23. I just love all those details in Disneyland. Great TR and thanks to showing us not only the rides. How did you rate Crush coaster and the tower? ---Hans
  24. Yeah Hoorn is quite expensive with prices varying from € 2,50/$ 3,70 to € 5,00/$ 7,40. Polyp - € 2,50/$ 3,70 Extreme - € 2,50/$ 3,70 Wild Mouse coaster - € 3,50/$ 5,20 Booster Maxxx - € 5,00/$ 7,40 So if you only do the big rides it will cost you approx. € 30,00 /$ 45,00. ----Hans
