But...research B&M error...the odds are more favorable of no problems than some lol lol... -
But...doesn't all that get done in the planning stage. Im sure they aren't playing by ear as the days go by. Ok, lets not compare it to fury 325 and thunderbird...lets compare it to wicked cyclone... 1) None of those rides are being built in earthquake prone California. 2) None of those rides featured over 8,000ft of racing track and structure needing to be cut away and reworked for this remake. 3) None of those rides will have the weather schedule that California has. 1) that's true... 2) wicked cyclone... 3) like snow...its kinda a big factor. I'm just being a different voice here. I don't remember Iron rattler or new texas giant taking an unusually long time, to myself and others, to construct. But then again, I may not have paid as close of attention to those projects. Personally i'm not trying to rag on the park but it does seem to be taking some time...

All it takes is tunnels and a good view to make a great ride experience??? By default gatekeeper is a better ride experience than most coasters based on that theory right? -

Most coaster folks don't like to think economically...as evident... Not to mention that's the path to fury 325. If it were put elsewhere...in some corner or a dead spot, i'm sure it would be missed very often. Who would want to put an up-charge ride in a dead area??? That's crazy! Noticed they moved the skyflyer right up front. You put blockbuster attractions in a dead area to drive the folks, like carowinds is doing with fury 325. THEN you put an up-charge attraction on the path to the blockbuster attraction where lots more people are gonna be heading now... -

Here's a screenshot...You consider that crowded? Its just trees in the area. As you can see...or probably not see...the entrance to vortex isn't on the main path as well as the slingshot will not be. As far as kaleidoscope...its as far away as Carolina cyclone... Great location to put it, should provide great views of fury 325 and downtown charlotte. -

Yeah...right across from carolina cobra...forget the fact that the water park entrance is right there... There is nothing in that area but vortex and trees...how can it be cluttered??? -

Those braces will be down in the blink of an eye...park wanted to get the course done before worrying about the small things. Chain installation is finish, focusing on entry plaza and bridge over the dive. I would urge you guys in twitter to follow the parks GM mike. This man is the core of what it means to love what you do and he loves keeping us in the loop. He is passionate about the park and the future of carowinds and he appreciate us enthusiast so please, give him a follow... @mikefehnel. You won't be diaapointed! -

But...you won't need it. You should have the park to yourself for a few hours. Its also a wednesday... -
What do you think of Fast Passes?
jarmor replied to K1ngdaKa88's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I haven't bothered with an express for HHN since 2006! I have been able to every house plus bill and ted every time I've went. Its a strategy lol... -
Wet n' Wild Orlando Question
jarmor replied to K1ngdaKa88's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The key is to get there before opening. Ride all the single rider tube and body slides, the get the longer lines. Water parks don't get busy until about after noon so get there at opening! I would also recommend Aquatica as well. Has more "modern" slides and a great atmosphere. -
Went to the park yesterday as well for a final farewell to gwazi. Actually ran into/met robb for the first time in the 10 years I've been on this site! Gwazi isn't the worst coaster ever but its definetly worst than most. The layout is king and I would love to see them try to do something with it...

Hahaha...first, we get beemers are slow and boring. Now, we're getting its hitting the brakes too fast. The way things look, it hits some magnetic braking before the actual brake run so it will burn some speed off. I and definetly hoping for a sorta extreme like goliath at sfog! -

There is actually 3 parts of the video, that's the 3rd part. part 1-2 details what the parks were presenting and talking about. I would check those out as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the dollywood video. -

I don't fall in line to your options. I like them but I don't use them all the time. I have only used them when offered as a free service to me. I haven't had to go to a park that busy to purchase but I use the hell out of them when they are free... -

Why are people saying 3 B&M's in a row? Are people really counting rougarou as a "new" coaster???
