Hey there,

As you know, fair season is upon us in New England with the Brockton Fair setting up their Reithoffer midway in a couple weeks. I'll be going Thursday, the 29th of June, I suggest going that night for the $14 wristband. Brockton Fair typically brings some spectacular flat rides like the KMG Tango, KMG Speed, Zamperla Power Surge, Drop Tower... and a Flitzer.

I was wondering if anyone knew any other major fairs that might be worth checking out in the New England area besides this and the Big E in Springfield.

The Danbury City Fair. it runs from now till' July 8. It has a Huss Topspin which flipped 24 times. No joke. Also a KMG Fireball and a Mack Music Express. Also a Thunderbolt ride similar to the Music Express but the cars swing. They also have a Remix, which is an orbitor ride without the floor. They have a Darton Cliff Hanger, like a flying Paratrooper, which is really fun. Also a Wave Swinger(which ran very fast and long i started to feel sick after about the 50th time around), and a Gigantic Ferris Wheel, as well as a large Bumper Car ride. I had a really good time and the only two rides that are $5 are Fireball ,Giant Wheel, and Toppsin, (which had very very long cycles). Wave Swinger was 4$ as well as Music Express, Thunder Bolt, Remix, and the Bumper Cars (which also ran long). The Cliff Hanger was 3$ and some of the smaller kiddie rides were 2$, and there were alot of them!

OMG. I remember the Danbury fair when I was a kid. I lived near Clinton for many years and remember going to that fair was a 'big thing' back in the days. I remember getting lost their one year as a kid and the lost & found provided me with alot of food/drinks until I was reunited with my parents. I wonder what changes the fair has gone through over the years. But, wow, that brings back some memories..lol
