coasterdude5 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Geboldi California Studios Geboldi has unleashed plans today for a massive studio-themed park in sunny southern California. "We will be putting forth our most top-of-the-line attractions for this park," said park rep Will Thompson. "This also includes a few protoype attractions." The park has released information on a couple of the attractions: Category 6 We have partnered with the National Weather Service to bring guests this amazing hurricane simulator. Themed to a boat stuck out at sea during a major hurricane, the ride will feature spinning, drops, and wind and water effects. It will be the first of its kind. Blaze Blaze will feature top notch effects and the latest rollercoaster technology. LIM's will launch your "firetruck" from 0-40 in 2.5 seconds. The ride will also feature some of the best fire effects that are used in movies. King Encounter This show will feature several stunts featuring some of the largest lions in existent. Unknown This ride has been a dream for years. Geboldi has made it a reality. More rides will be announced as construction progresses. Blaze's building The massive unknown ride's building. More soon!
pixelated Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Ooh... with a name like "Unknown" you know it HAS to be good Glad that Geboldi is still going strong after that loss to Six Flags...
coasterdude5 Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Yeah, the name isn't Unknown, they have just released a few details about the ride.
Rollerholden Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Is the park really called "Geboldi California Stusios" ?
coasterdude5 Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 **Contruction** Blaze has been undergoing alot of testing to get the fire effects just right. Don't want any of the guests getting burnt. The unknown ride's building is also complete. No one has any clue of what kind of attraction it is. Due to its height and the fact that t crosses over the path, I think we can conclude that it is a coaster. But what kind? Blaze's entrance Fire! The launch track. This is where the unknown ride will cross over into another building. More soon!
NitroRider Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Can't wait for more of Blaze and the unknown ride!!!

coasterdude5 Posted June 19, 2006 Author Posted June 19, 2006 **More Construction** The "unkown" ride's queue. Looks like it will have a futuristic theme. The park's website has released a "tagline" - Time is no longer a limit. This is the first time Geboldi has tried the futuristic theme. TRACK! Category 6 is complete! The entrance The entrance plaza Looks pretty cool The "unknown" ride's building has been "covered" More soon!
kennywood!007 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Awesome pictures and park! I can't wait to see how this ride turns out. I love the Blaze coaster. Its awesome!
coasterdude5 Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 The announcement for the "unknown" coaster is tomorrow!
coasterdude5 Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Yeah, you can choose tons of options for the movement too.
NitroRider Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Where did you get the picture. Is there a real one I don't know about?
coasterdude5 Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 I just typed robocoaster into google. I think it's a rendering.
coasterdude5 Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 **Grand Opening** The opening was great. Definitely one of Geboldi's most successful. The robocoaster amazingly had only 15 minutes of downtime. But Blaze took the most popular. There hasn't been a train that wasn't full since opening. Category 6 was also very popular. Almost ready! Nile River Expedition Oh yeah! The queue is really cool. They're about to get soaked. Blaze is, IMO, the best ride in the park. LAUNCH! 1a1a1ageboldicalistudios.zip NEW DOWNLOAD **7-2-06**
kennywood!007 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 The park looks great! I'll download later when I have time for Rct3.
asr Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 How did you get Blaze to have a tire launch and Giovanola style trains?
