Hattuchili Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 PTR: 2 Disney Parks and 1 Disney Resort In 1 Day! - Part 1 EPCOT, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge Hey guys, yesterday was our special Disney day! Stefan, Alessandra and I drove to Epcot early in the morning, for a few rides on Test Track, Soarin and Mission Space! After that we catched the Monorail to Magic Kingdom, for a few rides on Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder Mountain. Then, near 3pm we drove to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. There we had some great food and we met a few friends, who are living with us in the Commons! Next, we went to the pool for relaxing in the sun! I only made a few pictures, so I hope you enjoy it. --Sören At the end we met this guy! ... ...and more animals! ...crazy guys... We saw elephants... Our captain! For a Jungle Cruise trip! After that we walked to Adventureland! Thanks for the ride, man! Stefan also liked it! ... Yeah, Space Mountain! We had a Fastpass for Space Mountain. Do you guys remember, my first coaster this year in the USA! Stefan was waiting in the garage! ... Mickey need to clean his room! Alessanrda is making Popcorn! Next Toontown! Damn, I am not strong enough for that! ... and one more! okay, more pictures from the castle! We all infront of the castle! Was Walt so big or is the castle so small??? Dancing in the Main Street! Do you want a balloon? Alessanrda and me! The other side! The park looks so crowded on this picture, but it wasn´t! What was the name of the Park? Then we catched the Monorail to Magic Kingdom! Before we left I needed to make this picture! We also made a stop to say Nemo´s friends "hi"! A short stop at Tast Track. We started our day at Epcot.
coasterdude5 Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Great trip report! It just goes to show, you can't see any of those parks in one day! We missed out on so much of Magic Kingdom, hopefully I'll get to go back soon. Nice pictures, too!
smallish Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Woah, the MK Adventureland entrance sucks compared to DL's. Heck, the land itself must suck with no Indiana Jones. . I wish I could go to any park in WDW free!

When I see that, then I get some bed memories! a quick stop at Splash Mountain!
smallish Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Man, that Splash Mountain actual mountain sorta looks smaller than the DL version, but the area in front of the drop looks like its bigger. I wish our BTM had geysers!!!

Immel Man Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Nice TR! Gnome and I also tried to squeeze two Disney Parks into a single day last month. You really do miss a lot. Animal Kingdom Lodge looks very nice. I'll have to check that out next time I go to Orlando.

I am also sorry that I havn´t waited till tomorrow to post my pictures! It is nice that you only found the bad things in my PTR. Nrthwnd Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Since I am a Disneyland Paris Castle FREAK - I especially liked this (see below) photo of the MK Castle and it's "Magic Mirror" in front, showing juuuuust a glimpse of... My Castle!!! Great trip reports Soren. Good to see that you and your work buddies are having great "off-time" from your work at World Showcase. Thanks for sharing the pix and comments. See??? There it is!!! My Castle there.... Only Really PINK one of the bunch, lolol.
