Parc Asterix Trip Report 4-15-2006 !

I went to Parc Asterix with one of mine friend and we arrived around 10.30am .

 

Our first coaster was Outch Goudurix with a new logo Entrance . We had no wait to Goudurix and they ran 2 Trains . We were to the first row and it wasn't too bad at all compare to our usual hirts with that **** Coaster .

 

We went on Tonnerre de Zeus and the line wasn't too bad at all we waited almost 40min with 2 Trains . Nothing to say except that's still one of my Top 3 Wooden Coaster with ( Comet , Tonnerre de Zeus , Gwazy ) .

 

After TDZ we went on Transdemonium wich is stil a very fun coaster ghost train and we were lucky to ride on it because the ride were down for the rest of the day and probably will not open soonly .

 

After our ride on Transdemonium we've eaten at the only Fast Good at the Parc wich was '' Le Fast de Rome '' . Actually it's nice to eat there because it's very close to the '' Descente du Styx '' .

 

After the lunch we went on '' Le Grand Splash '' it's a Shoot The Shute made by Intamin . After that we ran into '' Le Trace du Hourra '' the Biggest MACK Bobsleigh on earth then we had almost 10min wait for that ride and this ride is still fun .

 

We had to stop somewhere because it rained and then we got another ride on Tonnerre de Zeus and Trace du Hourra and left the park around 6pm .

 

We had a very good day at Parc Asterix and i'm sorry i have no pictures but i've got the Season Pass of Parc Asterix so i'll take pics next time .

Every time I pass the park on my way to Disneyland Resort Paris I say to myself you have to visit it... Up to today I haven't... I guess my Disney Addiction stands between it...

If you have the Efteling Season Pass you also have an access to Parc Asterix .

Ahh, I really like Parc Asterix. I miss the days when I used to be able to go a few times per year. How was TdZ running? I was suprised to see it running VERY well last summer, but people say that we caught it on a good day due to the rain and it is still very rough. It's too bad because I think that when it ran smoother it really deserved that #1 or #2 wood coaster in the world ranking it once recieved.
