A Day In Tucson

I spent yesterday in Tucson, for a spring training game. (White Sox Vs. Rangers at TEP). I managed to get some pics, although, it would've been better if I didn't have to take them all from the car. By the way, for those who didn't know it. Tucson is a city of 1.1 million people, 2 hours south of Phoenix.

 

My day starts out trying to escape Phoenix!

Meh.. Tucson traffic. I think I-10 is in a state of minor disrepair in this area.

I noticed this on I-10.

 

Miles from Phoenix. BOOM! We hit traffic!

 

So, we decided to take the back way into the city, going around South Mountain. (Riggs Rd to 51st Ave)

 

Almost home!

I spent 4 years down in Tucson (for school). Sometimes I miss it, sometimes I don't. It was definitely cool seeing some pictures of it though.

One question, though:

 

 

Was this the view from your seats? If so, too bad. That railing/barrier would have been annoying.

No, that wasn't the view from our seats.. its just where I randomly decided to take a pic lol.

 

Tucson is a very nice city, I reccomend visiting!

My Aunt lives in Tucson and so do several of my Great Aunts/Uncles on my other side. Nice city, Ever been to Tohono Chul (sp)?

 

Spring Training games...ahhhhhh....the joys of not knowing one person playing out there in the 9th Inning lol.
