dougstanton Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 This may be a stupid question but I have a video in avi format. I need to switch it to a format that is allowed on this site so that I can post it. Can anybody please help me in how I can change the format?
pkdcoaster Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 you can have a video in avi format...it just needs to be zipped to upload it. If you have Windows xp you can convert AVI to wmv in Windows movie maker. JEFF
coasterlover420 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 WMM is a piece of crap, though. And why can't you upload a video in AVI format? Just post it in the Videographer forum! (and zip it first)
pkdcoaster Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 WMM is a piece of crap Can you please ellaborate why?....I hate it when people say...that thing sucks and then do not give reasons. I find it suitable for everything I need to do plus its free with XP. JEFF
Erik Johnson Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Well I use WMM with no problems at all. I think the program is very easy to learn how to use, it is what I use.
DeliriumTrigger Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 WMM would be very easy to use if it didn't crash every 5 minutes
Carnage Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 WMM is a fine editor for basic functions. If you need more advanced features, or are making more complex videos then it starts to fail. It's great to learn on though. it's what I first used to get into editing.
