QueenCityBoy
It would make more sence to bring FOF to Carowinds.
Chadley
It sounds as though things were may have been rumored around PKI as early as last week. Maureen Kaiser (Anybody who knew Jeff Siebert @ PKI would recognize Maureen as being Jeff's right hand) a spokeswoman for PKI was quoted in the Cincinnati Enquirer (Feb. 17) saying, That we would remain Paramounts King's Island through opening day April 17. Nothing was said about the immediate future following that date, but it sounds as though someone asked about a sale already having been made, and that was her reply. I'm probably reading too much into it though. Here's hoping everything were hearing is true, and is good for the chain, and industry. ParkTrips
I had heard Wonderland as well, but of course that could be wrong. Yea, it makes more sense to move it to Carowinds, but since when has Paramount done stuff that makes sense?
alpengeist04
I heard FOF was heading north and PCW was mentioned. It would become an outdoor coaster, too. Of course, I can't confirm or deny it.
Carnage
I'd be more then happy if they flattened Skyrider(togo death machine) and put it there. That is if there's enough room there. Can't remember the exact size of FOF.
Homey G.
That would be funny if it went to Canadia's Wonderland. Before long, they would move into contention for park with the most coasters! Those crazy canucks would lose their mind!
Reon
I just thought of something. If I have a season pass for PKI, when the name changes, do I lose my pass?
Carnage
^^ It wouldn't have as much of an impact as you'd figure. The average person around here wouldn't even know what parks have the most coasters. Roller coasters don't get a whole lot of attention in Canada. alpengeist04
I just thought of something. If I have a season pass for PKI, when the name changes, do I lose my pass? No, you wouldn't lose your season pass. Chances are the Paramount name wouldn't change for the time being, even if ownership changes.
Reon
The article states that PKI would keep their name till April 17 (just about when they open for the year) So, then would it still work? (Either way, my relatives pay for the pass yearly as a present, so I dont suffer from it)
Carnage
^^ Or at very least they'd refund your money. When SFWoA was sold to Cedar Fair they had to refund season passes if I remember correctly.
SFOGdude25
I personally hope that Cedar Fair buys the Paramount parks. It would help make Cedar Fair larger, because they don't own that many parks. Also, I heard that they're discussing if they'll keep the themed rides the same as they are now. Example, Italian Job Stunt Track. They'll probably not change those rides.
