Dollywood sent me a survey on a Fastpass-like system

I get surveys from Dollywood from time to time on new ride concepts and other things. I just got one one a virtual queue Fastpass-like system. I'd be interested in if Dollywood comes out with it and how they will handle it.

Would make sense... They've got enough world-class rides to get it started.

Seriously though, I probably didn't visit Dollywood on the busiest of days (it was a Sunday in mid-August) but I did not see the need for any sort of Fastpass system. Rides like Blazing Fury, and Tenn. Tornado were walk-ons and Thunderhead and Mt Slidewinder were had lines no longer than 5-10 min. I honestly think a system like that would do more harm than help to the park, if it has any effect at all, but sounds like a bad idea to me.

I agree about Blazing Fury.

Not enough rides like that around and i wish there were.

I look at TT being as being the best of its type around.

I agree, but maybe they would just do it on Holiday weekends and Saturdays in the summer.

Thanks for providing a link Barry. I more than gladly filled out the survey which includes my opinion of dislike for virtual queue systems.
