Milkchan Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I don't know if anybody heard of Scream Machines, but there is a free demo that you have most of the items, but also you can't save your parks or Tracks. Website is http://www.wounded-heart.com Give the game a try! Type what you think of it.
BiCoastal Kid Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I still prefer NL. I find its graphics are more realistic and the interface is much easier to handle. The only two things SM has over NL is it's sounds and cable supports.
ShoubraStreet74 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I just tried the demo. It's fun, but NL is better.
benzo41190 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I have both games in the full version. I would have to say that they both have goods and bads. NL........... -Great graphics -Easier tools -no variation of coaster types -not alot of Pre-Made tracks -play dispatcher Scream Machines....... -alot of coaster types -many pre-mades -many types of cars -many types of supports -put in music and play it in the station -draw a pic and put it for a tunnel or a train logo -not as good graphics compared to NL -not as realistic GUI The thing that I like about SM is that you can record a message, or music, and then play it in the station like you are dispatching. You can also change the noise the brakes or the lift makes. If you want you could play a loud, yelling in pain, like noise and play it on Vekoma ride
Nemmy Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I think I'm going to buy Scream Machines just for that. I'm going to make a feature length roller coaster movie and include screaming in agony on any SLC. EDIT: And I'm going to recreate Top Thrill Dragster and its huge-ass line, and then record a message in the station - "I've been waiting in line for Top Thrill Dragster for ages!" Also, anyone have the "Sunday Sunday Sunday" message, because I'll have to include that, also.
benzo41190 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 What I like doing is making brakes look like people. Then change the sound of the brakes to a guy yelling, scream, swearing, or all three. When the train runs over the brakes, it is like you are running over a body
FuNfReaK22 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 ^OOOOKKKK? Yeah I tried that demo before...but as everyone else says.... I also like NL better...
