FuNfReaK22 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 When ever I capture a video on RCT3, it always lags. Does this happen to you? Or is my laptop bad?
phazan Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 yes! it lags terrible for me. i think it happens to everyone.
FuNfReaK22 Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 Ok, now I know atleast someone else is having the same proplem. I've been trying to mix a movie but it takes forever!
Thrillrider15 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Ya it does. But it's better than using fraps.
Corkscrewy Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Thats what its supposed to do. It usually records at 1 FPS. This way, when your done capturing video, it all runs smoothley.
ShoubraStreet74 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Don't worry about it. EVERYONE has that problem. I consider my PC high end and it will go anywhere from 1fps - 3fps for me. But the good thing about this method of capturing is that no matter how much it lags, the end result will be at a full 30fps. So all you can do is wait for it to render.
haydawg149 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 how do you take vids? Â how do you edit? Â how do you host? Â how do you get to the video to edit it?
ShoubraStreet74 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 how do you take vids?  By pressing control+shift+F11 (if I remember correctly) during the game  how do you edit?  Windows Movie Maker will do it, or any other video editing software  how do you host?  You can upload videos to many sites, including www.putfile.com and www.rapidshare.de . With putfile, just select a video from the home page and click upload, then use the link it gives you to link people to your video.  how do you get to the video to edit it?  All videos taken with RCT3 go to the My Documents/My Videos/RCT3 folder. In a video editing program, just browse there and select the raw video to edit.
benzo41190 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 When I capture videos, the speed only decreases about 50%. I think there is something in your options that alows you to change how the video will capture.
coasters 4 me Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Ages ago, I did a recreation of X and it took 1hr to record the whole ride. It really sucks.
coasters 4 me Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Yeah. I just went into my bedroom and played my PS2.
FuNfReaK22 Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 Heh... good choice... that's what I would have done.
