Coaster Palooza Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Sorry I haven’t written anything or responded to too many posts for a while. The winter has been a little busy for me. A few weeks back I was stepped on while officiating a high school football game and I have a deep bone bruise on my ankle. The trainer thought it might have been broken, but it wasn’t. Gyendolynne was in a car accident at the end of October. Someone rear-ended her. She is okay, but she is going to the chiropractor for her back. Hopefully she’ll have a full recovery. I have been reading the boards when I get a chance and I thought I would put in a little trip report for the past couple weekends. Last weekend I was scheduled for a High School CCS semi-final football game between Los Gatos and St. Ignatius (SI). My position was headlines, so I would be with the chains and on SI’s sideline all night. Gyendolynne went to the game and took a ton of pictures. It was an exciting game, for me anyway. There wasn’t any scoring, but it was intense on the field all night. The final score was 3-0, Los Gatos won. SI missed a field goal in the first half and Los Gatos made their field goal in the second half. That was basically the game, but you could feel the tension all night with no one wanting to make a mistake. We decided to go to Hard Rock Café in Sacramento a couple weeks ago. Gyendolynne and I collect little things from all the Hard Rocks that we have been to. The trip was just a Saturday trip, up and back. We shopped little bit in the mall there too. I also worked a first round CCS game. The game I had was Bellarmine v. Valley Christian. They are two very strong teams, but Valley is definitely incredible this year. This weekend we are going to San Diego and next weekend we’re headed to Las Vegas. January we’ll be in Orlando for a few days, then hopefully a little down time. Kneeling on the ball to end the game. They held the ball for the last 4 minutes of the game! and it is a first down The measurement Here's the play 4th down for Los Gatos. If they make the first, they can run out the clock. Waving my chains over Hard to read, but the score is 3-0 Here is a better picture of Tonelli. His son plays for SI Spotting the ball Getting back into position The guy with the shaved head is Paul Tonelli. He work with Lamont on 107.7 the bone. First down. Coming back from halftime. I am looking for the ball boy to give him the football SI didn't make it on 4th down and Los Gatos didn't score either. Halftime. The scoreboard is telling us the same thing. Now it is 4th and 3 from their 20. SI has the ball, 1st and 10 from their 13 yard line. The score near the end of the first half. A little discussion. First play of the game. Kick-off position. Getting ready for the game. The chain gang. Friday night's crew. There was a comment made that I am so young. Here's a better shot of it. Gyendolynne's car. She was hit so hard that it bent the trailer hitch back into the spare tire! It ain't Wally's finger falling off, but it hurt pretty bad Just another view With 6 minutes to go in the game, this happens! Everything started out fine
Coaster Palooza Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 Sacramento Trip. In the mall, Gyendolynne trying on some new shades. Here are the "good riddance" flowers. That was what the other bartender told me they were called. Group hug, we'll miss you, now get out... This was the bartender's last day. They were throwing her some good wishes. I was pleased too, and I didn't have anything to drink yet! Happy to be here! Random inside photo Hard Rock Cafe. We made it!
PhishyBrewer Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Getting ready for Medium in 3-D I see.

Coaster Palooza Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 ^^^My ankle hurt so bad. I could hardly walk that night. I needed help off the field because I couldn't put any pressure on it. I iced it that night, with the help from Gyendolynne, and the next day the swelling was down! I also had a few "locals" (maybe a six pack) the night before to help take the pain away.
