What Now Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Airfare: http://www.travelocity.com http://www.expedia.com Hotels: http://www.hotels.com Parks: http://www.waltdisneyworld.com http://www.universalorlando.com
ChrisZer0 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 GF and I are also going the same time next year (to hang out with the supercool hot dog skinnin' alvey gang, of course). Some of the best discounts ive found are usually through AAA and Entertainment guide. For the AAA discounts, call WDW directly and book, not online. Im curious, are you looking to stay onsite or off? Chris " I Like Veggie Dogs" Zer0
SharkTums Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Most likely offsite. Everything worked out so perfectly this time around we'll probably do it exactly the same next year! Thurs - IOA/Uni/HHN Fri - Busch / MNSSHP Sat - Disney Sun - Disney We might see about switching Howl o Scream instead of MNSSHP, but I'm not sure yet.
SharkTums Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Staybridge Suites right by downtown disney. It was about $150/night but we had 5 of us in there and everyone had a bed so it worked out quite nicely.
ChrisZer0 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Grooovy Angie (my GF) and I have been looking at doing that, as well as buying our park media (for WDW) as the disney store. How are the accomodations (as in level of comfort,facilities,ect..)
What Now Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Have you (or anybody) stayed at the Magical Memories Villas before? How is that?
jarmor Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 also I would check w/ any offsite hotel to see if they have around the clock transportation to the parks or just a once a day thing... The universal studios offsite areas sometimes tend to have only one shuttle a day and its generally full...yeah it sucks! But if I were you I would start putting away a minium of 25.00 a week in a "greatest vacation evar!11!1" stash so by the time next year comes you would have more than 1000.00 per person to spend on a really nice vacation!
ChrisZer0 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 GF and I have been debating the merits of off-site vs on-site. Both have great positives,as well as the negatives. With us, we're looking at the on-site thing because: A) We've never tried it before. B) We'll be at WDW a few days before the alvey gang arrive. For a 4 day weekend trip with multiple people, long stay suites are a great option and excellent on the budget.
