WalrusMan Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I'm trying to do a research paper, and after looking around a bit, I can't find much information. I need to do it on an issue related to a community I'm in. I thought about this community and how Ed Markey wants to regulate coasters. It's a little tough finding information though, I was wondering if anyone could give me an information you know of about this issue, coaster safety, or anything you think would be helpful. I've got access to ProQuest Direct through my college and that has a lot of articles on coaster safety, but I'd like to incorporate Mr. Markey into this paper. Thanks to everyone who can give me any information.
CoasterFanatic Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Good http://www.saferparks.org http://www.rideaccidents.com http://www.masstort.org Bad http://www.amusementsafety.org
Wes Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I did this back in 2000 for a senior project. My memory is fuzzy now, but I think http://www.iaapa.org/ has good info. A good Google search for Markey and roller coasters would probably pull up a bunch of good stuff.
saturday97 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 You might try EBSCO or Lexis Nexis at your school's library to search for newspaper articles about specific incidents and policy developments.
