andrea Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I was'nt trying to offend anyone,I was just saying that cause I know people who have older parents and thats what they said and I would brobably feel the same way cause the older the parents get the more they become grouchy and impatient,my mom is 47 and she does'nt have the playfulness and sence of humor that she had 4 years ago so I could imagine if she was 60 or 70.Sorry if I offended anyone though
disneygurlz2s Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 ^ I wasn't picking on you, just making a point. In today's society, more and more couples are starting their families in their 30's and 40's. I work for a doctor who had twins two years ago, at the age of 43. I don't consider this couple to be THAT old, and considering the older siblings that they have (as I did) to be like "second parents", I would have to say these kids are pretty well off. I don't necessarily thing a parent's attitude towards their children is dictated as much by their age as other factors. I have seen lots of grouchy parents that are 25, and lots of kind, patient parents who are 40. No offense taken.... Shari
