WalrusMan Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 My grandpa was trying to install Photoshop Elements onto his computer and he couldn't install it. It would stop after 24% and he'd get an error message. The Error message he got was something like this.... INS5576 error in 2DATA151.DLL INS5576 will now close And it closes the installation. Anyone know what could be wrong? He does have Windows ME so could be part of it, but I don't know. Thanks to any who can answer this.
Angry_Gumball Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 How many times have you tried this? First (and one of the best) things I'd do is try restarting the computer. From there on, I'm not sure what it's trip would be other than that the computer's on crack. I have installed Photoshop on a Windows ME machine before so I don't think it would have to do with the OS. For the heck of it, try to update the computer and see if that does anything as well. Hope you get it working!
SLUSHIE Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I'm guessing its a downloaded copy... My guess would be set the clock back a year or two. If it is downloaded, shame on you.
CoasterFanatic Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 ^ Why would he pirate Photoshop ELEMENTS?
FlyingScooter Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 ^Really. It's cheap. I got my copy of the 3.0 version at Walmart for like 20.00. What kind of computer does he have? What OS? What speed?
WalrusMan Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 Bought copy, not pirated. My grandpa doesn't even know you can do that. Haha. Thanks for your help, I sent him an E-Mail stating your suggestions and asking your questions.
