Thanks

Looks awesome! Are you able to paint the supports white?

I could do it, but I don't! Why? Because it is a lot of work to paint all these pieces! I also want to use them for other K'nex coasters where I don't want white supports.

What about the order of the cars because of the colors?

Also, with K'nex, each colour is a size, so you know that a red one is a certain length. It really makes building a lot easier than if they were all the same colour.

As for car color order...

Train 1: gray, blue, red

Train 2: red, blue, red

This is what I was thinking originally, but now I'm thinking this:

Train 1: red, grey, red

Train 2: blue, red, blue

I like that even more, actually

I would also have choosen this, so I'll take it so. Let's hope the sets arrive soon!

Construction Update:

I'm finished with the stall and roll! I also changed the blue high 5 a bit, with curved track. If everything works well, I'll probably be finish this evening or tomorrow!

The boosters are working really well! Both cars can go after the roll! So I now only have to do the turn around and probably a little "station".

Here are some photos:

New Update:

The Layout is complete! The problem is, the car looses to much speed that it isn't able to go around the last turn on the green side! But I'll look that I can fix this problem.

Looks good!!!

Quick question:

How did you get the cars connected together to form the train?? I have a few k'Nex sets, and each came with one car (and there is space under the cars to add a connector to connect more than one car together,) but no connector to connect two or more cars together to make a train.

Bad News!!

The Video won't come until August! That's because the coaster didn't wanted to work, when I got up this morning and Tomorrow I'm going on a vacation! So today I don't have anymore time to fix that problem! Sorry!

Sad News:

K'nex Twisted Colossus is now History!

Sep 06.15. R.I.P. K'nex Twisted Colossus

I removed it yesterday, because I'm cleaning up my bedroom and needed the space. I'll also soon get a new bed. Anyway I would have demolished it, to build something new.

If you have any ideas of what building new there, you can tell it me! You saw how many pieces are used on K'nex Twisted Colossus. And about the track, only half of all the track pieces I used for TC! I have 3 Chain Lift motors and two Booster. Any ideas are welcome.

Now a few deconstruction pictures:

image.thumb.jpg.530640f933162951bbdcb6a301155dda.jpg

The tracks of the High-5 is gone

image.thumb.jpg.49ca47227cfe0517c0bbdfbcb8f92ff3.jpg

And now all pieces of track

image.thumb.jpg.387608580a7d1955c21fdf77d4e17a6a.jpg

It looks so different without track

image.thumb.jpg.b1f242271fbe2e2d166e0e4cd66d112e.jpg

And two the big structures, but now, nothing is left than pieces.

Lightning Rod would be awesome with the boosters, but it would take up so much space!

Suggestions (Some more likely/possible than others)

Lightning Racer

Mean Streak

NTAG

Joker

Iron Rattl... You know what, any RMC.

Cyclone - Coney Island

Also, a GCI like Kentucky Rumbler would be awesome!

Thanks for your suggestions. I think I won't make lightning rod. First because of the space and 2nd because it is a terrain coaster and I don't have that terrain so it would need more structure than I have pieces for.

What I also was thinking about is that I could build a thrill ride. Your coaster ideas are great too!

I will decide it when I get my new bed, so I have a bit more space to build one. So the new bed should come in October.
