Gutterflower Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) As mentioned on the China Projects thread China is currently building a new Hello Kitty themed park which is located in Anji. The park is the world’s largest Hello Kitty theme park, with a total area of about 95,000 square meters. Now we have some proper construction shots it seems right to give the little white cat it's own thread. Construction already seems pretty far along with most of the main buildings up and the hotel looking almost finished. Unfortunately the shots below don’t really show off any major attractions apart from the Ferris wheel cleverly placed over the main entrance. coasterer22 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I wonder how they're going to theme an entire park to Hello Kitty... but it should be interesting to see how it turns out. China really does love that little cat.

Gutterflower Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 The park actually opened yesterday (New years day). Dang that was fast. Looks like a lovely park though.
