christianscoasters Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I am TERRIBLE at naming coasters, so expect more generic names from me Viper is a B&M invert that makes use of its surrounding terrain. The first drop is approximately 170 feet. Track is 3,104 feet long. Max speed is 64 MPH. 5 Inversions. Two trains. **DOWNLOAD**
FLIPDUDE Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Overall a cool ride. The bad: ---------- -The trim brake int he tunnel was confusing. I didn't really know why you need it. -The inversion right AFTER the trim brake pulled hard red G forces, above 5. No real modern coaster(let alone a B&M) pulls that much, as far as I know. Is that why the trim brake is there? Because if so it's not slowing the train down enough. -I personally wouldn't have terribly minded if the ride was a bit bigger. Felt like there was a little more it could do. The good: ----------- -A well built ride overall -I really liked the unusual take on the post-dive-loop-inline-twist. Definitely gave the ride some originality points. The fact that it actually goes UP after doing it isntead of dropping down added to the interest. -I thought the train was too close to the water, but then when I viewed it form the outside I saw it's only an illusion. So good job there!
IronWolfman Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 ^Dude, there are many rides that pull 6+ G's, like Tower of Terror at Gold Reef City or Mind Bender at SFoG. Heck, Boomerangs all hit 5.2 G's.

B.A.B Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 True, but no B&M that I know of pull more than 4.5 g's. Well this could be the "first" B&M to do so then. Anyway I thought this coaster was very cool and orginal. Great job!
