Totopez Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 We are going to Orlando next year, first time for family of four. The plan is to stay onsite at Universal one or two nights and do those parks, one visit to SeaWorld and two of us will go to BGT for one day. We will be in Orlando for four or five nights, then spend a week on Anna Maria Island and then back to Orlando for another four nights. We have been to Disneyland, Disneyland Paris (all of us) and Tokyo Disney Sea (just me), so we skip WDW this time. Waterparks are welcome as a bonus, but we don't pay a lot of extra money for them. What kind of tickets should we get? Orlando Flexiticket Plus? Other suggestions? We are not AAA-members (or any other american organization), Swedish residents and citizens.
SharkTums Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 ^It sounds like you'll do best with the FlexTicket Plus for sure. The family members not going to Busch Gardens can just get the normal FlexTicket.
robbalvey Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I'm gonna be honest here - spending eight nights in Orlando and NOT going to Disney, especially when it's your first time in Orlando, seems like kind of a mistake. I realize you've been to other "Disney" parks before, but I'd at least check out Epcot and Animal Kingdom, as those two parks are very different from any other "Magic Kingdom" or "Studios" parks you've done before. Seriously look into Disney, it's the reason why Orlando is here, and not doing Disney just seems "strange" to me.
Jew Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 ^I agree. The other parks are one day (or at best 2 day) parks.
jray21 Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I also agree. Disney is number one for a reason. The non-Disney parks are great, but Epcot and AK are really unique and awesome parks. I haven't been to Aquatica, but Blizzard Beach is a good water park.
