historyfreak92 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 (edited) Hello There! My first time starting a topic on TPR, so I'm basically doing original RCT1 Scenarios, & my first time playing RCT2, so what do ya'll guys think?SCR1.BMP Overviw of the Park, kind of like Elitch Gardens Style! SCR2.BMPA Vekoma SLC Standard named Red Storm built in 1998. SCR3.BMPFiretrap, built in 1969 by Paul Schmeck, and the Black Intamin Giant Drop is named Scream Drop built in 2000. SCR4.BMPAnother shot of Red Storm with a Ferris Wheel, and a Antique Cars Ride called Route 69ers. SCR5.BMPA wisdom Kiddie Coaster named Dragon built in 1999. I need some feedback, or comments! historyfreak92 Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 Some more views of the park.SCR15.BMP Inside this Sand Mountain is an Indoor Arrow Dynamics Shuttle Loop Coaster named Pharoah's Tumb built in 1989. SCR16.BMPWhat the coaster looks like inside where the track is black. SCR11.BMPIn 2001, the park purchased a Maurer Sohne Spinning Mouse named Dust Devil. SCR10.BMPFlat rides I added by Huss in 1998. SCR9.BMPA Schwarzkopf Enterpriese named Sandstorm built in the late 80's in 1988, & a Flying Saucers ride named Crop Dusters built in 1995.
coasterbill Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 This was BY FAR my favorite scenario in the original RCT. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
historyfreak92 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Thank you so much coasterbill, I don't feel conterable about this looking okay, but sooner I'll put theming to put a punch to it during the next update!
Jerrykoala2112 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Very cool idea with the different themed corners! As well as the mountain in the middle of the park, I might steal that
historyfreak92 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Hmm Hmm, well If I owned, & operated this park, you better have enough money to buy it! But anyways nice comment, on to the park! SCR39.BMP In 1990, the park Added a Hopkins Tidal Wave Water Boat Splash Ride, named Texas Splashdown. SCR40.BMP Another shot of the water ride. SCR22.BMP Looks like Firetrap got some love! SCR31.BMP The park contacted Rocky Mountain Construction, and told them that the ride was bumpy, & decided, to spent ,000,000 million to renovate the ride, looks much better than it ever did! SCR28.BMP A 1969 Arrow Dynamics Mine Train inspired by the Disneyland Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, named Rocky Mountain Mine Train! SCR30.BMP Obviously my favorite ride in the park!
coasterbill Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I like this a lot, but I suggest adding some variety to the trees near Texas Splashdown. Right now they're a little repetitive.
historyfreak92 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 SCR44.BMP How does did look? SCR45.BMP Second shot of more trees! SCR23.BMP I decided to make it look more potential under the Pharoah's Fury! SCR32.BMP Made this more realistic didn't I? SCR33.BMP Now look at the Dragon Wagon, now it's covered in Trees! SCR46.BMP Even the Pharoah's Fury is the most popular ride in the park, & my Second Favorite!
coasterbill Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I like that much better. Are you timing the dispatches to add realism or is that shuttle loop drawing a line like that with 10 second dispatches? If it's the latter that's really impressive.
historyfreak92 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Yeah, I took my time to think what the park should look like, & I did some sketches of it, & my Aunt that looks like Susan Ward said, OMG! then my Tallest Uncle said WOAH! (Out Loud) But anyways I will release this really soon with a few more pictures!
historyfreak92 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Hey yall! SCR27.BMP In, 1999 the park purchased a vekoma invertigo named The Pipeline. SCR35.BMP Second shot of pipeline. SCR34.BMP A huss Swinging Ship. SCR29.BMP I love looking at this ride! SCR47.BMP Last overview of the park! Magic Quarters.SV6 Here's the download, feel free, be my guest, & enjoy!
coasterbill Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I just downloaded this park and I have to say I had a lot of fun playing it! I used to play this scenario over and over again before I used trainers because it was the biggest, flattest map I could find (once I had the money to fill in the lake, then flatten the dunes and then finally flatten the rocky area). This took me back to those old parks but I love how you left those areas intact. I think the Rocky Mountain Mine Train is the highlight of the park for me. I love the slow beginning where it starts out as a standard scenic train ride. That's pretty clever. The pirate ship is a highlight for me as well... it's very well placed. Red Storm is well done as well, and I love how you set it's dispatch time (not enough people do this and it's really, really unrealistic if you don't). If I had to nit pick I would suggest reducing the amount of boats on Texas Splash Down and I'm surprised you didn't utilize the castle for an indoor attraction. Overall I had fun playing this park. It reminds me of how RCT was played before custom scenery and over the top architecture. Nice job!
historyfreak92 Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Thank you so much, & even my susan ward like aunt is happy about that it's my very first time posting a topic, so I plan to do another scenario, & I have three choices! 1.Diamond Heights. 2.Karts And Coasters. 3.Crumbly Woods. Pick which one should I do next!
coasterbill Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Absolutely Diamond Heights. Don't be afraid to spend a little more time with it though. This park was only in Year 4. If you spend some more time with the new park it will show and probably be a lot better.
HoppyBunny Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Love the scenery! I'm gonna cast my vote on Diamond Heights because you've got a lot of scenery details and I can't wait to see those black and white Claustraphobia and Agoraphobia loopers covered in foliage! Muy bien with the details man!
historyfreak92 Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Thank you so much, hardly anybody comments on my parks! So I am trying to make Diamond Heights really realistic with intrest, but it's going to take some time! P.S. historyfreak92!
