Coolex
I agree. A nice park, with a good "feeling". Just visit it last week. But I also agree about the lounch-time. Maby it will get better in the future.
RCT3Bross
Back for an other year of coaster riding. Today I went to my first park of the 2016 season, had some visits to the Efteling earlier this year but with how often I am there I don't count it anymore, still enjoy it though. Anyways my first season park was Walibi Holland for you guessed it Lost Gravity. Was Early in the park so I could ride Xpress Platform 13 before the park's opening, doesn't disappoint. Right after exiting the park went open and off-Coarse I rushed to Lost Gravity, had to wait half an hour before it opened though, worth it. Still don't know how to feel on that color . Yuup it was a great ride the drop is one of it's highlights. Condor is getting old, I used my SLC stance to ride it but it still beat me up. Goliath still the best of the bunch. Who loves some S&S tower. creepy castle. Great walking on buildings now. Just random queue shots, and up leaving as the ride had a malfunction. Xpress just out of a malfunction, reminds me Space Shot the S&S tower ride also had a small malefaction, how coincidental. They fixed it quickly. So this broke on the second day, guess those extra fences at the beginning of the queue came too late. (didn't snap a picture of it broken but I did see it broken, here it's just removed.) How it suppose to look. Don't tell me what to do. I know some of these beer crates, don't try to fool us by peeling of the stickers Walibi. Random shots from within the queue. Some shots from the ferris wheel. And to close it all off, Lost Gravity. Rode it 3 times and can't wait to ride it again. See you next time, RCT3Bross. Nrthwnd
Interesting how the view from The Wheel of Lost Gravity is blocked by the trees, but you can see every other coaster in the park pretty good. Just noticing this. Great shots, thanks for sharing your recent visit.
RCT3Bross
So had a great day at Bobbejaanland. But before going in depth I need a small thing from my chest: [boring personal story] To be honest I had it rough the last few months, 2015 wasn't my year and the off-season was like a jar on suffocating my coaster fire, 2016 also had a bumpy start and 2 weeks ago having to cancel yet another big trip due circumstances I needed a replacement but all parks I wanted to visit still needed to open their 2016 ride for that fresh value I needed. So Bobbejaanland with the VR-Coaster came out on top and I thought this would be the final blow, yet a park I haven't visited in 5 years was apparently what I needed. Today some wood was thrown on the fire and in time it will heal, I know it's boring but I feels good having typed it for others to read. [/boring personal story] So having that from my chest the TR: Opened the day with Typhoon, no better way. Action shots. Nerd shot. Dizz is a lot of fun. From 10:15 till 12:15 Revolution is still open. The ride is quite dead, no movie, no sound. Either kill it or not. Each car already says Mount Mara. This wasn't here the last time. Queue. Love the interactive part with the people form the park, they where great and kept in roll. The ride itself was also a lot of fun. Wild mouse time, 100% of the time it's a lot of fun all the time. Creeped the hell out of me, worse part is there are two. Ended up riding a private mouse, could ride it like that all day. 12:30 in the Dreamcatcher queue, So I left before riding it and went to do what I came for: And saw this, a lot of people already waiting for Mount Mara VR-Coaster. Love how they redirect the queue to get to this space. Got aboard this hype train of 30 cars. Conclusion Mount Mara is a lot of fun, the video was not clean but still the ride is great, you feel so isolated so on your own despite the 29 other people in the ride, and yes it adds to the ride experience, looking forward to more in the future. Bob Express, if it's forbidden to have fun on a motorized coaster I will break that law. What's better then a log flume? A log flume and darkride in one. Love how the water bonces from the boat to the wall back into the boat and soak you. You can't leave dry, I was alone I tried. Okay This time I did ride it, I know it's Vekoma but the cars swinging reduces headbangs so yeah this is fun. Weather was awful. But couldn't resist a outdoor log flume. After some french fry lunch I went for a last ride on Typhoon and finished my day with: The Sledgehammer, was my first time riding something like this on this scale, I'm in for more just less windy days. Thanks for reading and see you in June for a Walibi Belgium TR, Pulsar here I come.
