knightochivalry Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Hi I desperately want to watch the video "Hope Mcarthur's Epcot Video", it was a third place winner in Theme park review's 2004 video contest viewer's choice. The link on this site has expired, I was hoping there was some way it could be reposted, or I could be given an active link to the video. Ive been trying to find it online for years now, that video was made from our high school physics class field trip Ive been feeling nostalgic and wanted to find it again. Alas any help?
knightochivalry Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 A simple one word answer would suffice here. Yes, no, maybe? I mean all the links to the viewers choice videos from 2004 and 2005 lead to missing webpages. Are these video just lost to the online community now? Good to know that our contribution to this site had a shelf life of only a few years lmao!
Hhappy Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 which link are you using? (makes searching a little easier...)
cfc Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 ^I think he's referring to this one, Hanno: http://www.themeparkreview.com/contest2004.htm. When you click the link to the Hope McArthur video, all you get is a "webpage cannot be found" message.

Keep in mind there are a lot of things going on with the site right now, and if you were an active community member you'd know that. Contest videos from 8 years ago aren't at the forefront right now. A simple email to Robb or following up with this post after a week in a nice manner would have gotten you a lot farther.

Yeah, you know, I was going to look into it, since as it turns out those videos didn't get transferred over when we switched servers. I saw this, put it on my to do list, and got caught up with a few other things. Was going to get back to it early next week, but with this attitude? Forget it. --Robb "Guess you didn't want to watch the video again that desperately..." Alvey
