tiger01
I like the whole 'turn around' idea! This should be really good!
coastercrazy 9
Your trailer just blew my mind, quick question, what is the song in this video?
QueerRudie
Outstanding- all around. That is the kind of marketing campaign that will sell tickets to your park- and fill the trains with happy (if not terrified) riders all around. Brilliant. AlmereStars
@tiger01: I hope so.. @coastercrazy9: Thank you very much! I really like to follow tutorials on Adobe After Effects and make my own video's... about the song, I have absolutely no idea I found it while looking for Sketchup tutorials on youtube. @QueerRudie: I like promotional videos.. and I immediately came up with this when you called the coaster F5. Glad you like it!

AlmereStars
** BREAKING NEWS ** IT HAS ARRIVED ** EVACUATE NOW! ** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldfO9kE9k14 The onride is not filmed on the front seat, but in the middle of each train. I did this to emphasize the racing aspect of the ride. Downpart is that the bumps on the ride are more visible... Some screens: I really hope you all like it!! Its the first racing rollercoaster I have made. You can download the NLPack (with some small scenery) or just the NLTrack (without scenery). When you open the track, it is possible you'll get an error that some scenery is missing. But you can ignore the error. I deleted all the scenery in it, but I still get this message. sureblah
**/***** This ride was very, very problematic. First, for a dueling coaster, there were too few dueling elements, and I usually forgot that the ride was dueling. On the technical side, the coaster was a mess. The ride was very rough, pumpy, and had too many unforgivable, major jerks. In the back car on the second track, the lateral g's were in red territory at least three times and neared unexceptable levels even more. On the supports, they were not cleaned up at all. Completely custom wooden supports are not expected, but your ride lacked sufficient lateral bracing. And there were sections of supports just dangling over track, and those sections should be removed, as they do not connect to anything, look messy, and serve no purpose whatsoever. It was a very creative effort though, and once you improve the technical aspect of your ride-making, your rides can be great.
the ghost
I actually really liked this! Reminded me considerably of Joris en de Drack or whatever it's called! Nice work!

When you talk about pumping and jerks, take a trip to coaster hell and ride Psyclone, or go to Japan and ride White Cyclone, THEN come back and tell me that this ride is too jerky rough and bumpy. Sure it's not the smoothest coaster, wooden coasters commonly have the G almost no banking turns. There were 4 major dueling sections, that's more than Dueling Dragons and Lightning Racer. FOR GOD'S SAKE IT'S A WOODEN COASTER! Seriously... The ride looked very cool and very fun, not to mention a neat concept that I wish more wooden coasters would have (High 5). SoCal-I'd ride this over White Cyclone any day-Coasters.

Technically it is not the best coaster. But I've never been that great on the technical aspect of building rollercoasters in NL. Hell, I was glad that the G's didn't spike into red (and beyond)... But criticism is a good thing, and he liked the creativity of the ride.. so thats good! Personally I don't think the technical aspect is a big issue. This is my first NL coaster in a long time and the first ever Racing/Duelling Rollercoaster I have ever build (even RCT included). It's really tricky to get the trains at the same point, at the same time, at somewhat the same speed! So lets not get into a fight. I really Liked the concept, and I wanted to share that with all of you! Always open for some constructive criticism @the ghost: Thank you! Glad you liked it

tiger01
I thought it was a great ride. The dueling parts were well planned out. I prefered the first track to the second track though as it was more interesting. Edited January 21, 2012 by QueerRudie
accelerate
****/***** I agree with the above post in respect to the overall bumpyness of the ride. There were many violent jolts on both tracks. The build-up, though, makes up for a lot of these faults.
