Just wondering if you guys ever thought about putting out a mobile version or even a TPR app? With all the smart phones out there these days it would be cool to be able to upload pics pretty much as they happen if you so choose.

I've looked into it, and in order to do it "right", it's lots of money. Which is not something we can put into development right now.

Totally understand. I can imagine it would cost a fortune.

In the meantime though is there a way to allow the web site to recognize smart phones when choosing a picture to upload?

*sigh* - I wish. This is actually an issue with the PHPBB system. Not anything I have control over.

Just out of curiosity, does the tapatalk iPhone app work with the forum? There is a tapatalk PHPBB plugin, which leads me to believe that the forum may be able to be made compatable with this app.

I would just buy it and see if it already is, but TPR is the only forum I use and I don't want to buy an app that doesn't work. Money is tight, especially since I'm saving up for New Hotness.

If anyone uses tapatalk with the forum please let me know. I will buy it in a heartbeat if I knew it was going to work.

Since we've done custom mods for this forum to make it work with "TPR", many of the iphone apps introduce formatting problems, or even worse, security problems. So until either the iPhone OS or PHPBB allow the attachments, there isn't much we can do, sorry.

Thanks.

And understood. Thanks for the clarification.
