Andrewoplis Posted August 1, 2011 Author Posted August 1, 2011 Ok so its time for the rest of Valleyfair! The rapids ride is right next to Excalibur, but we didn't ride it. It looked really nice though! Renegade is right around to corner, so we took another spin on it! GCI awesomeness!!! Apocalypse is still my favorite GCI, but ride is defiantly second! Random lady in front a powered coaster photo..... "How much for the little girl?" Hordes of trashcans at Cedar Fair park?!! That's new!! This one kept following me.... darn trashcan! They have an Enterprise here, but like I said, Schwarzkopf > Huss IMO Random Morgan shot 1 Random Morgan shot 2- Morgan's Revenge! Time for the Intamin coaster! That trashcan followed me all the way to Venom's Queue... you darn trashcan you!! Steel Venom was a fun ride, and the holding brake actually WORKED unlike a certain two coasters at a certain two Six Flags parks! So this was a new experience for me! Steel Venom is in the same area as the "up-charge" attractions Oh Noes!! A giant blob is attacking the random Wild Thing viewing area!!!! Still isn't as good as a Schwarzkopf... ... but the cars on this Himalaya look cool! This topspin was evil, you know why? THATS WHY!! This theater looked cool, but I don't feel like having my Galaxy rocked thank you very much! Wild Thing, just being family like! They had this preppy sing and dance type show here, but I don't like that kind of stuff so I didn't watch it! Oh, behind the scenes!! But unfortunately, it was taken over by Pepsi! I got me a yummy funnel cake!! We decided to check out the water park There's that slide I took a random photo of earlier! We only did there things in the water park, the wave pool, the lazy river, and this awesome slide!! It was like a lazy river but on 1000 pounds of crack! Defiantly one of the best water rides on the trip! Time for some Outlaw coaster! The train really does take some of those elements with great speed! Like I said, morning rides= OK. Evening/night rides= AWESOME!! Time for one last ride on "No so Wild" Thing! Would be a lot better if the Mid-course brakes weren't there! But whats that guy staring at? Thank you monopoly train sign! Random arrow shot! Early Spiders are awesome! If your really luck, your car will spin during the whole ride like they have in the past for me! High Roller is High Rolling! This reminds me of home! (: Last KLOOSH!! of the day! OMG PLANT ATTACK!!! Thanks Valleyfair! for an awesome day!!! Â Thanks for reading and don't forget to please post your comments!!
Andrewoplis Posted August 5, 2011 Author Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Im sorry how long this update took, but ive been very busy these few days, now its time of Mall of America a.k.a MOA! MOA is a VERY big mall just outside of Minneapolis, and is most well know for having a large indoor amusement park, Nick Universe. Nick Universe is a very cool park and has some very rare, and unique attractions. We went on a Saturday, but the lines moved VERY quickly, the longest we had to wait was about 15 minutes! As for the mall its self, there are tons of stores so your sure to find something the interests you, but many of the stores are repeats and you can find them in more that one spot in the mall. Now, on the pictures! This is where we are today! It seems like each state had its own parking area and a symbol the represent that state. I wonder what the CA one was...lol MOA has some new hotness! We didn't check it out. But they had some fishy's on display! Nick Universe is smack in the middle of the mall, so its almost impossible to miss! When we got there, they were just done testing rides, like the awesome log chute! The LEGO store is connected to the park, so we had to go in there! You can't do this at Knott's anymore First up, my first Euro Fighter! It was pretty awesome! Its much rougher than it looks, but if you keep your head pressed against on side of the restraint, it shouldn't be a problem! Oh, Euro fighter p0rn Are you SURE that isn't hitting the roof?! Brain Surge was awesome! Its pretty much at Himalaya, but with spinning cars like a Rock-o-Plane! According to the sign, this coaster is fairly odd, but it was just your average Gerstlauer Spinner! I want my money back!! Aang says "Come ride my coaster!" Avatar was a really cool ride! I look like you were only inches from hitting the roof! Orange Streak was a fun ride. It covered almost every bit of the park, and it had a dark ride part in log chute! I spy a Jeff Johnson credit! ...was a fun Sally shooting dark ride! I thought the ending was kind of funny! Do they even make this show anymore?! Still can't do this at Knott's..... There's nothing odd about this you lieing sign!! Its just fun! Log Chute was AWESOME, like, one of the best rides of the trip AWESOME! Yes, there ARE backwards swings one this ride! But we had to wait and extra 7 minutes for this ride because some lady spell here coffee at the entrance gate! Hammerhead.. I mean Tak attack was OK, a bit boring though. Make sure you stick your legs out though! I can be a bit painful if you don't! Uhh, Sponge Bob, what are you doing?? Time to check out the LEGO store! I made this random LEGO man! Even Woody got the LEGO treatment! Yes, that is made completely out of LEGO bricks! Even the base is LEGO!! Lets check out some of the other things in MOA, like this wedding chapel! Some ACER'S made a habitat in the mall! Random Zoltar like thing! The Popcorn here smell REALLY good, but it was a bit to pricy This place had everything thing from the Slap chop, to the shake weight! I got some cool twisty puzzles in here! Like I said, Nick Universe is really hard to miss!! Is this... ...really necessary?! Lots of random things like this all over the MOA There was some cool LEGO sets displayed outside of there store! Hey, I have this one!! Its hard to tell, but there's a car ride some where in there Time to do the ropes course! "RAH! Ima ANGRY Flying Dutchman! Come do my ropes course!!!!" It was really cool, it did scare me a bit though! But is only $4 with a wrist band, so its something you shouldn't miss! Im in the bottom some where in this picture! There I am doing the scary "Boxes of death"! Â More MOA coming soon! Thanks for reading! Edited August 14, 2011 by Andrewoplis
Andrewoplis Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Ok, hey! Im just telling you ahead of time that there last the last few updates may take awhile because of BAD at SFDK and im going to an over night camp the day after that, so im just letting you know ahead of time!
Andrewoplis Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 OK so its time for the rest of MOA! I sorry about how long this took mainly because of what I've said in the first MOA update, but only on more update to go! So its picture time! You gotta hate this song! Since when it Patric have stub feet? Orgasmic SCREAAAAMMM!!!!! Fly boat! Fly! OMG TPR APPROVED!!!! Yep, its official, EVERY park has this now! I went to the LEGO store and go me this random Indianian here! You still can't... do I REALLY need to say it anymore?! Brain surge, just being awesome! It wouldn't be park with out a carousel Random bus... ...random tower! WTF?? Oh, well its still weird! Whats this I see? It just so happens to be another ride you can't do at knott's anymore! Which sucks because this one was a lot of fun! I thought it was cool that Tumbler... I mean Atomic Collider had some blue prints out to make it look like Jimmy Neutron is designing the ride him self! Truck Wheel Swiper NO swiping!! OH NOES!! A giant Dora is attacking the world!!! Hooray!! The giant Dora was chopped into pieces!!! This was a fun little ride Oh, bad artsy shot!! Intamin goodness!... ...with some yummy Gerstlauer as well! Gotta love those weird Euro Fighter rolls! Some for a few more rides on the awesome Log Chute! It may look like a big KLOOSH from here, but you don't get that wet on this ride, so you can ride over and over again! Kinda of spooky if you ask me! Im really, REALLY glad that this ride stayed that way it was and not themed to that stupid barnyard show! The only bad thing is that it didn't have the SIT DOWN that everyone said it did, oh well! Weirdo's..... That had a fun Falling Star ride too! Weee!! It seemed like 95% of the old Camp Snoopy themeing was kept, which is good because I kind of liked it! Sponge Bob says "Thanks for visiting my park and MOA!!". Thank YOU Sponge Bob for an awesome time! Â Last update coming soon! Â Thanks for reading!!!!
Andrewoplis Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 OK, so im really, REALLY sorry for how long this update took, but Ive been really busy with High School. So I present to you the final update of BERT!!! Â Fun Plex- Fun Plex is a cool family fun center type park with some rare/ old school rides and a great looking water park! The main resin we where there was because of The Big Ohhhh!, a Pinfari Zyklon which was fun, but it was really only worth a credit. Â Park City Mountain Resort- This resort, located in the famous Park City, Utah, has some VERY nice architecture and two really awesome Wiegand rides- The Alpine Slide and the Alpine Coaster! The Alpine slide is very long and your are able to race another person if you want. You have to take a ski lift up to a trail, and then walk what seemed like half a mile it to get to the start, but its SO worth it! The more well know attraction at the resort it the Alpine Coaster, which is, shockingly, Wiegand Alpine Coaster! Its also is very long but this is a lift hill, so no walking half a mile! The ride was awesome, very fast with lost of airtime and even more crazy laterals, and the best part its that the PCMR actually encourage rides to go as fast as possible! Â So its time for the first park, Fun Plex! Were here at Fun Plex, but it looks like they replaced it with a wooden jail!! I'm just kidding! But you do have to walk through this pizza place to get to the park. They have Rock-o-plane here?! Noway!!! But were here for this! Yep, its a Zyklon! Lots classic flats here. The waterpark looked great! But we didn't have time to go Random Carousel Here are some of the parts for the parks new 500ft Intamin Stand up Inverted Flying Aqua Trax Woody!! Here's the park map for ya! The mini golf course The go-karts that raps around The Big Ohhhh! You see! Speaking of The Big Ohhhh!, its time to ride! It was a fun coaster, but I thought it was really only worth the credit. It does take your picture though!! Whats this? It's a Chance Chaos, and its WORKING!! We didn't have time to ride though. I used to love this game! It wouldn't be an arcade with out Skee-ball! Bye Bye Fun Plex, thanks for the credit! Â Â Next up, Park City!! Were Finally here at Park City, the last stop on BERT All of the bus's we saw in Park City looked this awesome! It started to rain a little, but that's OK! All of the buildings looked great! But this area was kind of creepy because of how empty it was! Some of the parts for PCMR's new 2000 ft launched woody!! Most (if not all) of this pictures would look really different in the winter! More carousel randomness! There's the Alpine slide in all it's awesome glory!! You see all that twisted grey track, that's the Alpine Coaster!! The mini golf course looked a little make shift. Rock climbing on a fake mountain, in the mountains, there's something kind of wrong about that. You see those tiny beige spots WAY up in the hill, that's the Alpine Slide! Oh yeah, there's zip lining here too! Yea Wiegand! Yep, its huge! It it where to count this as a credit, it would be WAY up there! This is where the sleds go to sleep at night. Yeah, my brother loved the Alpine Slide! More zip lining! Did I mention that the buildings looked awesome? Thanks Park City for your awesomeness!!! Â Thanks for reading the last update!!!!!!!

805Andrew Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Park City looks awesome, but would look more awesome in the winter of course. I definitely want to go to Park City one day to ride the alpine coaster, but in the winter so I can also ski and/or snowboard the mountain. If the alpine coaster was on a coaster track, was gravity powered, and felt like riding a coaster, they I would count it as a coaster credit.
Andrewoplis Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 ^It's sort of half powered. It has a lift hill and everything but you can control your speed and you manually stop your sled with a brake as well.
larrygator Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 ^It's sort of half powered. It has a lift hill and everything but you can control your speed and you manually stop your sled with a brake as well. Â Â It is not electrically powered at all, totally gravity powered.

805Andrew Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I have never been on an alpine coaster, so I would have to ride one first before I decide whether to count it as a credit. Seeing how many pathetic kiddie coasters get counted as credits , if an alpine coaster felt more like a coaster than those, then I probably would count it as credit. There are a few Scenic Railway/Side Friction Coasters left with a brakeman on the ride controlling the speed, so I guess you could compare that to an alpine coaster too, the only difference is on an alpine coaster you're the brakeman.
