No luck. Still can't edit or delete.

Can you make sure when you login you are logging in as "FeelTheFORCE" all case sensitive.

I want to track down if this is the problem or not.

Also...the TPR Game Exchange is going to need a logo! Anyone want to volunteer to make something? We need a version of it that could fit within a standard size banner, and something that could fit on the front page in the 150x75 pixel thumbnail box.

I made a thumbnail - what would be standard size? 800x100? I also still have the original PSD, in case I need to edit something.

I noticed that there are not a lot of Scream Machines tracks. That's the main game that I used back in the day and I have several coasters that I will upload. Expect me to upload them sometime this week and I can let you guys know how the Scream Machines stuff is working.

^I too have Scream Machines now, but the game crashes whenever I'm building coasters. If anybody could help me with this then that would be greatly appreciated.

I've downloaded a few RCT3 files and had no problems with the download, using, and rating. I only wish that people label the files in the descriptions of it is a Track, Park, or even Custom Scenery. It also seems my upload worked because I already had one person rate my park.

Yeah, I've only come across one so far. I was even debating about putting it up...so please add more!

I think we'll end up making the Game and Categories mandatory, otherwise it'll turn into a mess. Again, let's just get the BETA version up and running fairly smoothly.

Soooo, did it work alright? And I don't have a thread on TPR that has this coaster. The only place to download is NoLimits-Exchange, and that requires an account.

This is really odd. When I download it, the size is 0kb. That may be the problem.

Can you post the file in a response here? I'll download and try it at my end not using the Exchange.

I'm getting a 0 byte file also.

Do me a favor. Do not delete the version that is there. I want to do some tests with it, but please try to upload it again under a different name.

I actually kind of like the retro-ish pixel feel to it. Keep working on it, but for the thumbnail, if there is text that is hard to read, just remove it. For the tiny images it's better that if "less tells more."

I think the game exchange page should have a easier UI maybe have at the top of the page certain coaster games that the user can click on such as rct2 and then the user will get only the rct2 downloads

It has that. Under the search menu pull down "game" and then "RCT2" - Only RCT2 files show up.

Maybe if we had a link to "popular searches" or something? Would that help?

EDIT: I can make "game" be the default search instead of "title" and perhaps that would be a bit easier?

I think making game be the default would be the best way to go also what about a giant upload button lol it doesn't have to be giant but it may get the interest of more users

So get rid of the little text on the bottom then? Sure thing. Anything else specific?

I was thinking maybe some sort of border on the top of the game exchange page just to let that very challenged user were they are

Absoultely. That will come a bit later. I've always been more of a "functionality and content first - sexy looking second." Which is pretty much why TPR looks the way it does!

well put lol i havent checked yet but are you able to click on the uploaders username and see what other files they have uploaded?

Yes, that was listed in the number of things fixed/added on the last page.

A quick improvement job...

Smoothed out the letters - now with a super-cool BETA stamp as a bonus!

I wouldn't limit yourself to just one idea. There's a good chance we can have a randomly changing banner at the top of the exchange to allow for a few different versions.

Robb, MCJaco, and the rest of the -phenominal- crew,

EXCELLENT job on the database- one of the easiest I've been able to negotiate so far, and far less complicated to use. I've tried uploading, downloading and searching, and I've yet to encounter a single failure, save some early on uploading troubles (But then again, I guess I should READ what's going on first...)

I'll keep uploading/downloading till I can break it- if I can break it!
