KI Kidd
Reynold's Park to Open This WeekendThe former Reynold's Packing Plant is set to open its doors for the first time in twelve years this weekend. After closing more then a decade ago, the plant was bought by Kasnak Entertainment Company based out of Indianapolis, IN. Originally slated to be redeveloped as an industrial park, the city stepped in as part of their 'Growing Green Space' initiative and offered to buy the land with plans to turn it into a city park. K.E.C. balked at the sale and the site sat vacant for several years while negotiations over its future took place. Two years ago an agreement was reached for K.E.C. to develop the property as a family entertainment center in exchange for a package of tax breaks from the city. The $40 million dollar redevelopment project took more than 18 months to complete. At opening Reynold's Park, as the property is now called, will feature nine rides, a large food court, and a commitment from K.E.C. to invest another $12 million over the next five years. "We believe that this development will be a great boost to our city's already diverse lineup of family entertainment options," said City Councilman Paul Grant. "We really are excited about what we have seen so far." K.E.C. President Kelly Scott agreed. "Though this is the largest project we have taken on to date we feel like we have hit a home run with this one." We were able to join Mr. Scott on a quick tour this morning, the first day the full compliment of employees reported to work. The aptly named 'Teacups' features a lot of greenery. City Gardens is located just to the left as you enter the park. The yellow building on the left houses the parks food court. 'Flying Eagles' is located back towards the pier. A tiny portion of the 'Kid's Complex' can be seen in this photo as well. Across the path from the Flying Eagles sits the park's Log Flume. This will be great way to cool off in the summer. At the very back of the park sits Adventure Pier, featuring Rotor, the parks only inverting ride Loop-de-Loop, and Canoe rentals. Finally here is an overview of the property provided to us by Mr. Scott. We tried to get some details on the future development plans but were told only that "a significant investment" would be made next year. KI Kidd
Hello all! My name is Vince Scott and I am the President of Reynold's Park. The first season is in full swing and we couldn't be happier with the way things have turned out! Only a few months in and we are already a premier family entertainment destination. Flying Eagles just gave out its 100,00th ride! We got big pans to keep the fun coming next year too! I can't give it all away just yet, but I've got a feeling the skyline will look a little different at this time next year. Before I go here are some shots I got the other night while working late. Enjoy! Now that is a fun looking pier! Even on a cool night the Log Flume is a great experience. A little past bedtime for the Kid's Complex to be so busy isn't it? The new torches add a nice touch to Adventure Pier area. Finally, a first look at next year's expansion site...

Upon completion this will be the first ever 'Gyroflyer' roller coaster in the U.S.!  Also opening next year will be the brand new Skyline Shops. ericm95
It looks decent. I would suggest working on your building they seem a bit to boxy... But either than that keep it up!
Calicoasters
The park looks nice, it is cute! I'm not really a fan of SkyRider's layout. It's nice and compact, but almost every turn is in the same direction.

A.J.
Here's a tip for using the in-game "non-custom" scenery if you didn't already know - Â If you name one of your guests M Brookes, you can build the collision-detecting walls on the edges of paths, like in RCT2. KI Kidd
Welcome back once again! Things have been going great so far this year at Reynold's Park. The Village Theater has helped attract a whole new group of people to the park. I am proud to report that, to date, we have had our highest attendance of any year. That is very exciting news as we begin our plans for next year. As was stated in the mailing we sent out a few weeks ago, the popularity of Oklahoma prompted us to extend it to a full season run. Tickets for this great show can be purchased online or at guest relations inside the park. Don't forget to visit the park next week for our July 4th Fireworks Spectacular! The show starts at 9:30pm and will include some great food and music in addition to the fireworks. Can't wait to see everyone there! We are once again heading towards the last few weeks of the season. It has been another great summer here at Reynold's Park and we can't wait to end the season with a bang. Our fireworks display was such a success during our July 4th Celebration this year that we have decided to have fireworks every Saturday night! The show will begin at 9:30pm on Adventure Pier. (Between you and me, the best view is from the Log Flume.) Keep an eye out for our announcement about next year's new attraction! KI Kidd
Two New Rides Coming To Reynold's Park Next Season! Â We are proud to announce that next Spring Reynold's Park will be adding two new rides for our guests! This is the first time we have tackled two projects like this...but it won't be the last. As we begin our three year expansion project we are excited to bring our guests two awesome new experiences next year. Â Space Shot: Have you ever wondered what it is like to blast off in a space ship? Well now you can feel (almost) the same rush at Reynold's Park! Space Shot is a brand new launched tower ride that will send guests hurtling up more than ten stories above the park at 44 mph! Once riders reach the top they will experience a brief moment of weightlessness before plummeting back down again. Manufactured by S&S Power Space Shot will be the tallest ride ever to grace our sky line. Riders will need to be at least 48" tall to enjoy this amazing new thrill ride. Â Slide Ride: Launching skyward at at 44 mph not your thing? No worries! We've got a brand new experience for those not quite ready for Space Shot. Slide Ride is a great way for the kiddies to feel a rush that is just the right size for them. Standing right next to the Kid's Complex, Slide Ride will be our tallest kiddie ride in the park and our fourth ride just for the little ones. Â We can't wait to see you all next year as we kick off our biggest expansion yet! Space Shot Slide Ride
KI Kidd
Work has begun on getting things all ready for next year. The path behind the Kid's Complex has been closed off and prep work at the Slide Ride location has already begun. Don't forget to get one last ride in on the canoes! They will be closing at the end of September as we begin work on Space Shot for next year. We have had another great summer here at Reynold's Park, let end this year with a bang! Â -Vincent Scott President Only a couple weeks left to get your rides in on the Canoes! Don't worry, SkyRider isn't going anywhere! Looks like they have already gotten to work back here! KI Kidd
We are wrapping up another great season here at Reynold's Park! The canoes have been removed and foundation work is underway for both Space Shot and Slide Ride. We are really looking forward to these two new attractions next year! Don't forget to get your tickets for all the great shows that will be playing at the Village Theater throughout the off season. See you next year! Â -Vincent Scott President Who is ready for Loop-de-Loop? Customary end of the year Log Flume shot! It really is odd when the crowds die down on the last day. See you all next year for Space Shot and Slide Ride!
ericm95
Still looks good. I think the additions of the slide and space shot are great additions to the park! That yellow building looks a bit weird. I think adding a cornice would and a new roof would make it look way better! Other than that keep it up
