Who was your hero growing up?

I never really had one set hero. I had a few 'cause there were a lot of things I liked...

 

Dale Jarrett- Nascar driver, though I don't care for Nascar anymore

Al Unser Jr.- Indycar driver

Scott Stephens- Monster truck driver. Yeah, laugh all you want

Calbert Cheaney- IU basketball player that went on to play in the NBA

Greg Moore- Indycar driver

I'm right there with ya Ted except I'd add Bob Barker instead of Hulk Hogan I always told everyone I was going to marry Bob Barker when I got older, so when I went to a show taping when I was 21, I told him that in person and he thought it was funny!

My hero was Neil Peart... probably the same as any other drummer. I remember listening to Rush records when I was a kid, and all I wanted to do was learn how to play drums like that. I also used to think 'man, that old lady has a great voice!' It wasnt until I was about 12 that I leared that Geddy Lee wasnt an old woman!
