yocoaster
Hey guys, well you can tell I'm pretty new here (using the site that is, not when I joined), but I would like to see what you guys think about Funworld Amusement Park. Now this is my first park, so it won't be PERFECT, but I'm using this as a way to learn how to become a better park maker...so with that being said, when you view my park and leave comments, make sure you touch these questions... what do you like about it, what do you think needs improvement? I'm posting a few pics, followed by the download.DOWNLOAD SCR53.BMP This is the park's tallest attraction, an Intamin Gyro Drop named DESCENT. SCR54.BMP A B&M Sitdown named Freedom Fighter. SCR55.BMP Custom Vekoma SLC, named Inferno. SCR56.BMP John Allen Woodie named Slingshot. SCR57.BMP A GCI named Storm SCR59.BMP Finally, the kiddie area, Daisy lake, featuring the Zeirer junior coaster named Zoom. braztaz
Everything looks very cluttered right now. If you take your great ideas and spread them out a bit, add a little more architecture, you're on your way as a GREAT player!
PSiRockin
I like it. Some of the entrances to the rides are weird though. Anyways, I do like the layouts, but year for the GCI is weird. The PTC was my favorite, it was very nice. It just feels a bit cramped. Oh, and don't change your buidlings. They look very nice.
Dotrobot
After looking at these closely again. It'll help if you divide each sections in to THEMES.. Layouts are great as usual so is supporting. Archy could use some work. But it's not bad either. Landscaping and foliage is your most important thing. Get the basics down and move on to archy. Try to cram in planning as well! QueerRudie
Outstanding. I have seen quite a few parks in my day, as well as built a few myself- and I must say your park is stunning. You've been able to do something that I don't do: Make rides in a tight space fit right, use all land to it's best advantage, make it colourful and lush, as well as keeping each ride's separate personality intact. The rides are realisitc, the layouts belivable and the park's grooming is splendid. Your efforts on this park are -excellent- and I look forward to your parks in the future- as if this is the start, you've got a bright future with parks. Kudos, R.D. There's also some that try, but basically there's no themed area. coughcedarfaircough

let1gre
It's sometimes better to sacrifice aesthetics for realism. Wouldn't having themed areas be good for aesthetics and realism?
Dotrobot
I was replying to the statement where mcjaco said there is a lot of parks without themed areas. Even Six Flags has themed areas. Although it might not be visible.
Ace Of Spades
^Well then what's the point? I can tell you I neve at a park and immediately think "OMGEENEEDSTOFINDTHEMES", especially Six Flags (and even moreso Cedar Fair) style parks, and I'm sure most others don't either (save the overly-hyper New-Element fanboys). Not everything needs to be a work of art.
Dotrobot
^ I agree completely but he asked what needed improvement. The transition of the style of buildings were very undefined and fast. I won't give people criticism if they don't want it. If they want criticism, I will leave some. BTW, I'm not a big fan some of NE's attitude. And I joined TPR before and was (is still) more active on TPR. So I'm not technically a NE fanboy although i had no idea if you were implying that at me.
