What we came to the CNE for this year! Sad thing, I am not kidding, it was our main reason to come.

For the record, it was worth the trip! Seriously not what I was expecting and that is a good thing. Don't knock it till you try it!

And a Deep Fried Mars bar for good measure. Gotta make sure every artery is clogged right?

I was there the other weekend and tried both the deep fried Mac & Cheese and the butter. Both were shockingly good! Although I think my heart may disagree with that.

 

This was the first time I have been in a few years, but the midway seemed a lot smaller than what it used to be. Still good fun for a day out downtown though.

Not sure if you knew that one Deep Fried Butter ball is actually healthier then a Sour Cream Glazed Timbit from Tim Horton's. For the US readers a Timbit = a Donut Hole.

I was dying to try the butter, but I only made one trip to the EX this year compared to my usual two or three. Next year I'll just have to try the butter and the bacon.

Great TR! I went to the CNE this year. Did anyone ride the chairswing? IT WAS RUNNING NO JOKE A 10 MINUTE CYCLE! I WANTED TO GET OFF THAT THING! Ugh.. felt very sick after the ride... didn't try anything deep fryed.. never have never will

I would love to try deep fried butter. It is not like you would partake in this every day. I wonder how much of this the people who serve it eat?
