My parents are planning a weekend trip to Las Vegas! I was wondering how many coaster credits are there in Las Vegas? And could you get all the credits in one day?

Yes you can .. but quite pricey.

 

There's roughly 8 .. counting the 2 kiddie credits at Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix and Peter Piper Pizza.

 

So ...

 

1 ) Desperado (Stateline, NV - roughly 45mins from Vegas)

2 ) Manhurtin Express ($12/ride now?)

3 ) Speed: The Ride (NASCAR Cafe)

4 ) Canyon Blaster (Circus-Circus)

5 ) Miner Mike (Circus-Circus)

6 ) Hi-Roller (Stratosphere)

7 ) Peter Piper Pizza Coaster

8 ) Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix Coaster

Its possible to get all of the credits in one day. But if you want to save money and just do the good ones in Vegas, DO Speed the Ride at the Sahara and the 2nd best coaster is Desperado. Don't ride Manhatten Experss unless you want to see a New York model high in the air at 60mph in Pain.

I found Canyon Blaster much nicer than Manhurtin .. but this was in 2001 of course.

The only rides there that are worth anything is Speed: The Ride and Big Shot. In My opinion Speed is even better then the Mr. Freezes, and those rides are simply great! And Big Shot is simply the best drop tower I've been on, the view is incredible and you get 2 amazing moments of airtime.

 

Canyon blaster is typical arrow with a better setting, and it has been like 8 years since I've been on manhatten express so I just don't remember.

 

Desperado is a solid coaster but there are only certain seats that ride good, and the last half of the ride is pretty tame and uneventful. Still great airtime over te 3 camelbacks.....
